I’ve been searching for the right dance or ballet documentary for four hours, and was about to give up.
given Nureyev's tragic fate (casualty of the AZT pushers), I don't think I can bring myself to watch. the thought occurred to me today that my nightly dreams are more substantial in many respects than this warped reality that it is impossible to escape (cf. the ending of "TXH118"). another year notched and it's still the bad guys who reign supreme. it's hard not to conclude that our species has become a blight upon this planet while at the same time holding fast to the notion that it doesn't have to be this way.
Huge Nureyev fan, saw him perform several times, always wonderful!
