The man is literally pure evil. That's not hyperbole or figurative or conceptual language. I mean, if anything on earth is evil, this man is that.
It's more evidence that he's a sociopath -- he lies without any shame. Instead and again like a sociopath, he tries to make the questioner feel shame for having even asked the question.
