FOLLOWING THE TRANS INC. MONEY "We're Talking About A Market In Excess of $200 Billion. That's Larger Than The Entire Film Industry."
H. is a therapist specializing in trauma healing, in a blue state. In 2023, she was expecting to primarily deal with the tsunami of post-Covid lockdown trauma in her younger patients. Instead, the revolution, which she hoped to avoid, arrived at her door.
“I have two new patients this week,” she said, quietly. “One is a 13 year old boy who wants his penis cut off. The other is a 14 year old girl who wants her breasts cut off.”
Her dilemma: She will not feign enthusiasm. Nor can she object. She has to find a way to help her patients, yet remain neutral.
”I as a therapist have to be non-biased. I can’t say: “What are you doing?!”
But what I can do is think about the deeper roots of the situation. Ask them about themselves and their memories, who they are, and what inspires them.”
The whole family is often caught in a web of new interactions, new borders, new code.
For example: A family of four, older brother “transitions” and becomes, (let’s use the word for now) a girl. So the younger brother is in grief because he lost his brother. The parents, meanwhile, are very avoidant to “allow” this. They don’t want to be what is called disrespectful.
“They wanted the therapy to be about him accepting the fact that now he has a sister,” H. says. “Even though, the boy was like, ‘but this is a bummer.’ It was almost as though his memories of his brother didn’t exist anymore. He had to find joy in having sister now. The parents seemed to me to just be repeating what they’d been told by the doctors. The kid was supposed to be excited. But he wasn’t. He missed his brother.’
H. may be fired if her lack of enthusiasm is detected, and her boss, against her will, even imposes “she/her” to her email communications.
I suggest she try to become a safe haven for the forbidden forms of grief these children carry but can’t express.
But if this were known, she would become a target, and perhaps professionally annihilated. Perhaps we must invent secret languages, or even sign language, through which to communicate our ideologically intolerable griefs in the future?

What’s the biggest cliché in all of “journalism?”
“Follow the money.”
This was never my strength. I found it difficult to follow money and money found it similarly disorienting to follow me.
In recent days, I stopped being utterly avoidant of the “gender affirming surgery”Anaconda and since it is not my “beat,” to use an old word, my writings may appear to have a delayed reaction quality. A “where have you been?" quality.
Without being able to list them here, I salute all the great researchers, activists, and documentarians who have been at the forefront of exposing this sinister industry for years.
(Sorry, I neglected in previous draft the pioneering work of Jennifer Bilek.)
Note the openly “capitalistic” glee in this Forbes article:
“Trans-tech is a budding industry with an enormous opportunity, RKA claims. “Our estimates place the average cost of transition at $150,000 per person. Multiply that by an estimated population of 1.4 million transgender people, we’re taking about a market in excess of $200B. That is significant. That’s larger than the entire film industry.”

At Yeson Voice Center in Seoul, Korea, the patients read a text about rainbows to demonstrate their before and after voices.
For the record, everybody is free to do what they like but I am a reporter, still, and I am reporting. Voice feminization surgery seems to be a huge new industry, that has an enormous center in Seoul.
To my point: The plastic surgeons are the new ruling class.
And there are websites that teach children how to work odd jobs, raise money, and hide it in various places away from parents to raise money for their future transition.
Once there is this much profit to be made, it’s difficult to imagine it will peter out any time soon.
I sincerely hope some people find their happiness in all this. But I struggle to understand how it happened, so fast, on such an industrial scale.
How did they do it?
Changing what is between your legs won’t fix what is between your ears.
Oh, shiznit, this is an icy hand around the heart. They have captured our children. In the classroom, in social media, with manipulative musical messages mainstreamed into their earbuds. And now doctors and other practitioners are caught in their sticky web.
Push Back Step #1: Hard as may seem to do, parents, if you can, pull your children out of school this June. Start afresh in September in your home. We did it. And now our children are doing it with their children. It was hard, yes, but oh so worth it. It may mean lifestyle reorganization and living with a lot less, but we North Americans are a creative people and can find ways to trim the excesses. There are so many resources out there - and many of them free.
Push Back Step #2: Confiscate the smart phones until they are 18.
