I know Jews who see Jesus as a prophet and a wise man, and agree with his philosophy of love.
We must resist stereotypes. Israeli children are raised to hate Palestinians; are they sometimes raised to hate Christians? I do not know. Being brought up as a Christian American child, I clearly remember the sense of being a Judeo-Christian, as in, there is an inherent alignment with Jewish religion, since Jesus was a Jew, and was born into the Hebrew religion and culture.
What we witness in Israel today feels like it has nothing to do with the Jewish religion as I understood it in my childhood in Sunday School.

Sick. Deeply, irremediably, spiritually sick.
