A Heartwarming Interview Between My Father and Great Grandfather

My sister Bibi (who, as an infant, is heard on this 1963 recording) has done our family a great loving service by uploading interviews of our father, Barry Farber, who was on the air longer than any American broadcaster, from 1960 until May 5, 2020, the evening before he died.

When I re-listened to this this morning, tears fell down my face, and in other parts, I laughed. Grandpa Marcus (my father’s grandfather) invokes lost worlds I feel transported to through his voice. I never met him, but this makes me feel he is right here, and Barry too. I hope you enjoy it.
