According to the Head of the National Centre for State Defence Control Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, the terrorists of the national battalions in Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy, Chernigov and Mariupol continue to use local residents and foreign citizens as a human shield and do not let them out for evacuation to safe places.

▪️ The grouping of troops of Lugansk People's Republic, continuing offensive operation, captured Shandrigolovo, Aleksandrovka, Derilovo, Sredne, Lozovoe settlements.

The armed forces of Donetsk People's Republic took control over Rozovka, Truzhenka, Znamenovka and Puzatoye settlements.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces units continue their offensive on a broad front.

Acting on adjacent flanks with units of the Donetsk Republic, Pyatikhatki, Shevchenkovo, Pologi, Gusarka, Novodanilovka and Shcherbaki settlements were taken under control.

▪️ The nationalist units that are retreating in Donbass, formed in the Lvov and Ivano-Franko regions, are causing damage to critically important social infrastructure and life support facilities for the population.

The greatest damage is done to water supply and energy systems. The purpose of such actions is to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Donbass.

▪️ Ukrainian nationalists are preparing a provocation with the participation of Western journalists in Kharkov.

According to confirmed data, on Zhilardi Street, Kievsky District, in the private sector, multiple launch rocket systems are placed between the houses. Nationalists forbid local residents, including children, to leave their homes.

Now mounts are ready for shelling the units of the Russian Armed Forces located outside the city.

The purpose of the provocation is to cause the return fire of Russian artillery on the residential sector of Kharkov. All this is planned to be filmed on cameras with the subsequent transfer to Western journalists.

Russian armed forces provide assistance to residents of settlements liberated from nationalists.

▪️ Today at 12.00, at the request of Kherson administration, Russian servicemen delivered more than 140 tons of food and medicine to the city. All humanitarian cargo has been handed over for distribution to the local population.

We will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian residents in need of support.

▪️ The grouping of troops of Luhansk People's Republic, with the fire support of the Russian Armed Forces, continued offensive operations and reached the Bohuslavka- Telmakhovka-Kalinovka line.

Units of Donetsk People's Republic advanced 27 km overnight. Novogrigorovka, Novonikolaevka, Vishnevatoye, Volnoye, Listvyanka and Antonovka settlements were taken under control.

▪️ Units of the Russian Armed Forces are conducting offensive operations on a broad front. Over the past day, Preobrazhenka, Komsomolskoye, Zagornoye, Dorozhnyanka, Reshetilovskoye, Konstantinovka, Shevchenko, Chubarevka, Proletarskoye, Lyubimovka settlements have been taken under control.

The servicemen of Donetsk People's Republic continue to squeeze the encirclement ring around Mariupol.

▪️ The militants of Azov and Aidar national battalions are firing at the people's militia units that have entered the city from positions equipped in schools, hospitals, maternity hospitals and kindergartens.

▪️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to deliver strikes at the military assets of Ukraine.

Over the past day, a strike of high-precision long-range weapons destroyed an ammunition depot on the territory of the military unit of Zhytomyr, where Javelin and NLOW anti-tank missile systems were stored.

▪️ In total, 2,037 military assets of Ukraine's were hit during the operation.

💥 Among them: 71 command posts and communication centres of the Ukrainian Armed Forces; 98 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as 61 radar stations.

Destroyed: 66 aircraft on the ground and 16 aircraft in the air, 708 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 74 multiple rocket launchers, 261 field artillery and mortars, 505 units of special military vehicles, as well as 56 unmanned aerial vehicles.

▪️ Today, on March 5, from 10 a.m. Moscow time, the Russian side declared silence regime and opened humanitarian corridors for civilians to leave Mariupol and Volnovakha. Humanitarian corridors and exit routes have been coordinated with the Ukrainian side.

▪️ The grouping of troops of Lugansk People's Republic continued offensive operations and captured Golikovo, Nevske and Katerinovka.

The units of Donetsk People's Republic took control of Zachatovka, Hlebodarovka, Novotatarovka, Zatishie and Mirnoe settlements . The advance was 7 kilometers.

▪️ Today, from 10.00 Moscow time, at the request of the Ukrainian side, in the area of Mariupol and Volnovakha, a “silence regime” was introduced with a complete halt in hostilities to ensure the evacuation of the civilian population.

Not a single civilian could leave Mariupol and Volnovakha along the announced corridors. The population of these cities is held by nationalist formations as a "human shield".

The nationalist battalions took advantage of "silence regime" to regroup and strengthen their positions.

▪️ Due to the unwillingness of the Ukrainian side to influence the nationalists or to extend the “silence regime”, offensive operations were resumed from 18:00 Moscow time.

▪️ Units of the Russian Armed Forces are advancing on a broad front and have taken control of Malya Tokmachka, Marfopol, Removka, Novokarlovka, Orlinskoe, Volodyno and Malinovka settlements.

▪️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to strike at the military infrastructure of Ukraine.

Today, they destroyed: 5 radar stations, 2 Buk M-1 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4 Su-27 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down in an air battle in Zhytomir region and 1 Su-25 was shot down by air defence systems in Nezhin region.

Also, the air defence forces destroyed 1 Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force and 1 Bayraktar TB-2 unmanned aerial vehicle.

▪️ In total, since the beginning of the operation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have hit 2,119 military infrastructure objects of Ukraine.

💥 Among them: 74 command posts and a communication centres of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; 108 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, 68 radar stations.

Also, 69 aircraft on the ground and 21 aircraft in the air, 748 tanks and other armored vehicles, 76 MLRSs, 274 field artillery mounts and mortars, 532 units of special military vehicles, as well as 59 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.

▪️ The grouping of troops of Lugansk People's Republic, continuing offensive actions, took control of Rubtsy, Karpovka, Makeyevka, Novolobovka, Lipovoe, Srednoye, Zelenaya Dolina, and Zakablukhovka settlements.

Units of the Armed Forces of Donetsk People's Republic have established control over Peredovoe, Karernoe and Ravnopol settlements.

Units of the People's Militia of Donetsk Republic are conducting successful offensive operations on the western and north-western outskirts of Mariupol. The residential quarter of the Staryi Krym has been taken under control.

▪️ Units of the Russian Armed Forces during the offensive took control of Priyutnoye, Zavitne-Bazhanne, Staromlynovka, Oktyabrskoye and Novomayskoye settlements. The advance was 11 kilometers.

▪️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to deliver strikes at the military assets of Ukraine.

▪️ On the evening of March 5, a massive strike was carried out, as a result of which 61 military assests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit, including: 22 units of weapons and military equipment in an underground shelter, a brigade command post, 9 ammunition depots and logistics facilities and 3 radar posts.

▪️ In the morning of March 6, long-range precision weapons strike was carried out. The airfield of the Air Force of Ukraine in Starokonstantinov was neutralized.
