A songwriter named Jude Roberts in NY’s Hudson Valley wrote a song.
That’s how this all began.
The song got recorded (details to follow) and Greg Reese came on board, and offered to make the video for us. Jamie Dlux was involved. It was many minds coming together—
I wanted to be a “producer,” and provide structure, enthusiasm, and raison d’être of a sort; That was my role.
There is a “medical freedom” movement is NY’s Hudson Valley, where Tom Cowan lives since a few years back, and many others who have fought against the beast: Gerald Celente (Trends Journal,) Eric Coppolino, (Planet Waves) and countless others, who resist from the very throat of the beast, geographically.
My sister Bibi’s house in Kerhonkson was the gathering place where things happened and got generated into being. Bibi is all about music, songs, songwriting, and gatherings. (I was, once upon a time, a drummer.)
It was at one of Bibi’s gatherings that our good friend Rob Norris, who, of all of us, is the central creative super-conduit of what others have done, written, said, played—he has enough interior bandwidth to always let the tribe know when we have to hear something.
Rob was (since the beginning) and still is, the bass player, co-songwriter, and back up vocalist for The Bongos. (In this video, wearing black shirt with white stripes. )
So one night in the early autumn Rob said we had to hear Jude’s new song.
It was called “Fall On Your Sword Mr. Fauci.”
It was a song that didn’t want to just be a song and stay where it was. It wanted to turn into something. We heard the song, then later I recorded it on my iPhone, and I published it here.
You may recall an earlier posting, “A Song By New Friends,” featuring “If You Could Hear Me Now,” by The Mammals, here.
Everybody loved that song. (see comments) THE MAMMALS music and (amazing history) here.
One month ago, give or take, Mike set up the recording session at his studio, and two exceptional musicians were there. (Everybody who wishes to be named is being named.)
We got it done.
Mike Merenda was both engineer, musical producer, and snare drummer extraordinaire for Jude’s Fauci song, and his wife Ruth Ungar, arranged and sang harmonies.
We are aiming to make back the recording costs by purchases of the song at Jude’s URL, and/or donations specified here.
It will go up at 5 pm EST.
This is me trying to hype something, and trying to announce a surprise in the form of a song.
How am I doing?
You are doing great!!! 🎉💯
Im psyched! But i dont understand where to hear it...
