TECH SUPPORT MATTER: How To Unsubscribe From Any Substack Acct You Are Subscribed To
To anybody who wishes to unsubscribe, you can do so without my participation
Instructions here.
Two requests today, made me feel a need to clarify this. Anybody can unsubscribe at any time, it’s one click.
Please if you have a strong opinion about how many emails per day I should never exceed, speak up. I’m truly trying to find the balance. I don’t want anybody to feel put upon or harassed in any way, never mind trapped.
But we are in a WAR and I don’t see HOW to post that much less than I do and not feel I’m letting you down. I actually leave about 70% of posts in progress on the cutting room floor.
Thanks for bearing with me, as I have said, you all are the envy of my peers, I often hear about my awesome comments section and it makes me so proud. That’s why I take it very seriously, how subscribers feel. I know, I can’t please everybody.
The point of this post is to show you how to unsubscribe yourself if you need to, because when people want to unsubscribe, they seem to think they need me to take the action but they don’t.
Warmly,
—Editor
I'm amazed at something that is unfolding here. First, the truth is I was going to NEVER read the comments on this post because I was certain I'd be facing rejection, and people telling me they have to leave because of the way I am.
Instead, it's like everybody's telling me, not only are you all staying but we have a FAMILY!
Truth is, on those occasions people want DO unsubscribe, they are always seriously angry. You helped me resolve it. It's resolved. Now we can sail on!
More gratitude than I can express, that so many people took the time to let me know I'm not losing you. Thank you all and God bless.
Celia, you can post 200 times a day or more. If I'm not interested, I have a lot of skill with my "delete" key. ;-)> I usually really enjoy what you have to say. Keep it up!
