I am grateful for all of you, more than I can express.
I don’t feel like “Happy Thanksgiving” is what I want to say. I want to say: Don’t worry, God will restore what we have lost.
Just hang in there.
Hang in there?
Yes.
Try to forgive people and try to forgive yourself for not being able to.
I just watched three bright, beautiful bluejays in the sun descend on a pile of seeds outside in the yard. I took my phone to photograph them and they all flew off. Isn’t that by itself interesting?
Well, they were beautiful, those three bluejays, having their Thanksgiving meal, and I was happy and grateful I saw them.
I know this Thanksgiving is perhaps the most painful and broken one we have ever had to face, collectively and individually. Opposition (the adversary) has smashed and broken the world, it seems nothing but broken shards, it seems hope will never return.
Hope does return.
We have to remember believe in it even when we can’t see it.
“We’re winning.”

This is my favorite story of “hope” I have found of late, and I shot it on my camera because I could not figure out how to share it from Facebook. I hope I don’t get sued.
I still am very opposed to zoos of all kinds. But this is my way of giving you all a Thanksgiving offering and saying thank you, for what you give me, every day, the chance to be, to write, to share and offer, including when it makes no sense, or is wrong, or all those things.

This is perfect. Exactly how I feel about the precious things we haven't lost. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving.
