Why Do Demons Hate Gregorian Chants And Flee When They Are Sung Or Played? An Exorcist Explains
I’ve posted it before; Here it is again, (below) “The Prayer,” the Russian version. It is so beautiful, and as Fr. Rippenberger says, “ordering.” It orders me. Some dark cold Covid nights in 2020 or 2021 I would play it while driving and sometimes be so overcome with it that I lost all interest in my destination and just drove, randomly. When I die, I would like for this to be played in my memory, if at such a time, memorial services take place. They did not (and I intend a great bitterness, that word “not”) when my father died, in the spring of 2020. My two best friends died in 2020 and 2022 respectively—neither had a memorial service.
Jack on the other hand, my cat, he had a proper burial. I can see his grave from my window. One day a man came and spent hours blowing leaves around, as they do here in Connecticut. I went to visit Jack’s grave the next morning and it was gone! It was buried in a mound of leaves.
I knew exactly where it was and dug it out.
I’m mourning the dead animals in the creeks of East Palestine. My heart is heavy, and at the moment, I can’t absorb any more news. They knock the wind right out of you, these demons.
But this brings the soul back, and sounds like another place altogether, where there is no spite, and no domination.
Thank you so much Celia for sharing this. My dear father - who almost became a priest - used to sing me to sleep with Gregorian chants in Latin. For many years I assumed all fathers lulled their children to sleep with Gregorian chants.
No, I cannot take anymore news. I’m worn out. Society is worn out. I just had a random angry person try and pick a fist fight with me when I was trying to grab some takeout food.
People are combative and have no idea how to cope with this hot dumpster fire we’ve become societally.
