I am inclined to go with the thinking that this was a planned op, involving the deep state of course, the USSS, FBI, etc. It was a setup to kill Trump that failed because too many bystanders called out the roof guy, and the local cops had to respond. When one did, he did not kill the guy, but cowardly backed off, and the roof shooter then fired off his shots.
That seems to have taken the USSS sniper by surprise. He had him in his sights for a time, then quickly took him out AFTER shots were fired. There are reports that the sniper has told his story, and was told not to shoot until given the order. But he did anyway and later was fired by the USSS.
Regardless, it was a planned op either way. And there was a second actual shooter who was supposed to get the kill shot. I think the man killed was shot by the roof guy's stray bullets. Just my opinion.

I think your questions about who this shooter really was are great. At this point, I don't think we have a positive ID, which may be by design. The story we are being told about "awaiting orders to shoot" is B.S. after he was planted and sighting his target. Dan Bongino, former USSS, debunked that, if we are to believe him. I can see that there might have been hesitation--- lest the gunman turn his weapon at random at the crowd, having failed to sight in his target on Trump. This shooter should have been interrupted as he appeared on the roof long before he had a chance to sight the podium and Trump. That is Kimberly Cheatle's fault, and her past on 911 with Cheney at the Pentagon needs to be seriously questioned too.

Yes. But I do still think it is possible for us to step outside of the show. And I am becoming more and more convinced that we need to look far back in time for some of the solutions. Many years ago now I took a graduate course in Medieval Literature--which is mostly Breton lays and English lays etc. We actually know very little about them. We know they were probably sung by a troupe and that instruments were played but we don't really know what they sounded like and we can only guess at the settings and the audience.

Celia, Can I take you up on a few points? I do agree that much has been asserted about the identity of this shooter. I used the Brave Browser to look for the photo of the shooter, post-mortem to which you referred and was easily able to find it. Yes it is gruesome, but I looked at it. I am a trained archaeologist, and part of my education included Forensic Anthorpology. I discerned a career in Forensics while working for the Eugene Police Department in the property division (handling/curating crime scene evidence) and I chose to go into Archaeology professionally instead. That said, I'd like to point a few things out: Dead shooter has four facial characteristics that make me think he looks MORE like Thomas Crooks than Max Yearick. 1) Crooks has two distinct notches or bumps on his right ear. These are visible in the photo of the dead shooter. 2) Yearick has a large disc in his right ear. The photo of the dead shooter clearly shows a splatter of blood on the right ear, but no visible hanging loop of skin you'd expect if the ear disc is taken out. This would mean either a surgical correction was made to the earlobe or the shooter did not have his earlobe stretched. 3) The eyebrows: Yearick has a distinct pointed arch at the top of each brow. Crook's arches are more of a smooth arch. The shooter's brows are a smooth arch, more similar in my opinion to Crook's than Yearick's. 4) The facial hair: notice that a mugshot of Yearick shows that his chin is well filled in. This is the robust beard of an older man (closer to the mid-20's). The shooter's chin has thicker hair on the bottom of the jaw, but seems finer and less filled-in as you look closer to the lips. His mustache hairs are also finer, softer, and more gracile, like a very young man's beard. To me, this shooter's beard hairs look like they belong to a younger man than the facial hair seen in Yearick's mugshot.
Your points are well-made regarding the man's blond, wavy hair and with the shear number of different people who have been alleged to be the shooter. I note the additional point, which is that on the scene two different people were interviewed who indicated that a man was also shot on the water tower. Our alleged dead shooter is supposedly the guy on the building. But are we sure? Could the dead shooter photo actually be Crooks? Could he have been on the water tower? Is it possible that there were two people killed by security details that day?
So, I know this is a discussion of fine detail. If this was being handled by a team of forensic anthropologists, they would do a lot of work to positively identify the deceased individuals. "Dental records" aren't as good for this purpose as people seem to think they are. And chain of custody would be IMPERATIVE. We, people armed with the internet, don't have the benefit of knowing the provenance of any of this stuff. Preserving that provenance is the key. If this was my mystery to solve, I'd look at the bodies in situ, photograph everything like crazy. Then I'd look for physical proof of their identity (i.e.: genetic test) and corroborate that with a secondary piece of physical evidence, like a physical feature that distinguishes this individual quite uniquely: for instance, the presence of a rare morphism (the two bumps on the right ear for example) or Carapelli's Cusps combined with distinct sinus patterns shown in x-ray, combined with fingerprints. The more physical proofs, the more unassailable the conclusion.
Appeared to be some kind of science nerd, and rec'd an award at HS graduation. Worked in a residential care facility serving meals. I think your questions about who this shooter really was are great. At this point, I don't think we have a positive ID, which may be by design. The story we are being told about "awaiting orders to shoot" is B.S. after he was planted and sighting his target. Dan Bongino, former USSS, debunked that, if we are to believe him. I can see that there might have been hesitation--- lest the gunman turn his weapon at random at the crowd, having failed to sight in his target on Trump. This shooter should have been interrupted as he appeared on the roof long before he had a chance to sight the podium and Trump. That is Kimberly Cheatle's fault, and her past on 911 with Cheney at the Pentagon needs to be seriously questioned too.

I keep thinking of the Harvest shooting, which was so strange and which I spent a lot of time on--and for what? That story was insane, too. 'They' don't bother to resolve stories anymore. Yes. But I do still think it is possible for us to step outside of the show. And I am becoming more and more convinced that we need to look far back in time for some of the solutions. Many years ago now I took a graduate course in Medieval Literature--which is mostly Breton lays and English lays etc. We actually know very little about them. We know they were probably sung by a troupe and that instruments were played but we don't really know what they sounded like and we can only guess at the settings and the audience.
Shortly after this I saw the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries at the Cluny in Paris. What really struck me was the thought that we don't know this mind at all--the minds of the people who designed and crafted it and stitched it and commissioned it seemed clear to me that the way they interacted with the world was completely different from ours and mostly unknown to us. People talk about the Medieval Mind and write books about it, but no one really knows.

People do not always panic in a shootings of this kind, and if you see some of these public shootings at churches and other events, they usually don't react that quickly. Celia, Can I take you up on a few points? I do agree that much has been asserted about the identity of this shooter. I used the Brave Browser to look for the photo of the shooter, post-mortem to which you referred and was easily able to find it. Yes it is gruesome, but I looked at it. I am a trained archaeologist, and part of my education included Forensic Anthorpology. I discerned a career in Forensics while working for the Eugene Police Department in the property division (handling/curating crime scene evidence) and I chose to go into Archaeology professionally instead. That said, I'd like to point a few things out: Dead shooter has four facial characteristics that make me think he looks MORE like Thomas Crooks than Max Yearick. 1) Crooks has two distinct notches or bumps on his right ear. These are visible in the photo of the dead shooter. 2) Yearick has a large disc in his right ear. The photo of the dead shooter clearly shows a splatter of blood on the right ear, but no visible hanging loop of skin you'd expect if the ear disc is taken out. This would mean either a surgical correction was made to the earlobe or the shooter did not have his earlobe stretched. 3) The eyebrows: Yearick has a distinct pointed arch at the top of each brow. Crook's arches are more of a smooth arch. The shooter's brows are a smooth arch, more similar in my opinion to Crook's than Yearick's. 4) The facial hair: notice that a mugshot of Yearick shows that his chin is well filled in. This is the robust beard of an older man (closer to the mid-20's). The shooter's chin has thicker hair on the bottom of the jaw, but seems finer and less filled-in as you look closer to the lips. His mustache hairs are also finer, softer, and more gracile, like a very young man's beard. To me, this shooter's beard hairs look like they belong to a younger man than the facial hair seen in Yearick's mugshot.
Your points are well-made regarding the man's blond, wavy hair and with the shear number of different people who have been alleged to be the shooter. I note the additional point, which is that on the scene two different people were interviewed who indicated that a man was also shot on the water tower. Our alleged dead shooter is supposedly the guy on the building. But are we sure? Could the dead shooter photo actually be Crooks? Could he have been on the water tower? Is it possible that there were two people killed by security details that day?
So, I know this is a discussion of fine detail. If this was being handled by a team of forensic anthropologists, they would do a lot of work to positively identify the deceased individuals. "Dental records" aren't as good for this purpose as people seem to think they are. And chain of custody would be IMPERATIVE. We, people armed with the internet, don't have the benefit of knowing the provenance of any of this stuff. Preserving that provenance is the key. If this was my mystery to solve, I'd look at the bodies in situ, photograph everything like crazy. Then I'd look for physical proof of their identity (i.e.: genetic test) and corroborate that with a secondary piece of physical evidence, like a physical feature that distinguishes this individual quite uniquely: for instance, the presence of a rare morphism (the two bumps on the right ear for example) or Carapelli's Cusps combined with distinct sinus patterns shown in x-ray, combined with fingerprints. The more physical proofs, the more unassailable the conclusion.
Appeared to be some kind of science nerd, and rec'd an award at HS graduation. Worked in a residential care facility serving meals. Couldn't get into rifle club (they still have these ?) in his HS b/c he was such a poor shot; bullied in HS. Appears physically rather like a teen who is "on the spectrum." Loner, of course. His father purchased the weapon, but - apparently - he lived in an apartment alone and not with his parents. His phone has been found and is being analyzed. Waiting for the next predictable piece of "evidence:" A Manifesto.
