This song has me in tears and says everything I want to say!

I'm wondering with over 8,000 views on this song, why is there only less than 200 likes? This shows you how controlled everything is.

Thank you Celia. It's beautiful. I feel so much sadness ... I can't even describe how much I've cried and I never cried. Thank you for being here for us Celia, you and a handful of people will be part of my soul forever even if I never meet you. We will restore what has been broken in us with love and tenacity of spirit. The fire inside me is exhausted, but it's still flickering with hope. To everyone who is here I thank you for your courage. I was injured by a jab when I was child and so was my grandchild; I know what we're doing here. ) *

Pretty. Love your logo image. Saw one like that in northern Washington about 20 years ago. Luckily had a camera.

Thanks for sharing Celia. Always looking for a truly good song. Haven't heard one as timely and timeless as this in a while. It's on the level of John Lennon's Imagine, in my humble opinion.

Lyrics:

If you could hear me now

If you could hear me somehow

If you could hear the words that I’m thinkin’

‘Bout a world on fire

Good thoughts lost in the mire

And it seems like no one’s listenin’

If you could see me now

If you could see me somehow

If you could see the world where we’re livin’

Where the money’s in charge

And the black coal barge

And there’s no more fish to be fishin’

If you could hear me now

If you could hear me somehow

If you could hear what my soul is screamin’

That we are one in the land of the sun

And there’s no more fear of dreamin

If you could know me now

If you could know me somehow

If you could know the pain that I’m feelin’

If you know my heart’s being torn apart

By the way good folks is treated

If you could see me now

If you could see me somehow

If you could see the things that I’m seein’

That the people win and prosper in the end

And leave something to believe in

If you could hear me now

If you could hear me somehow

If you hear the thoughts that I’m spinnin

The time is short by any report

And there’s more to do than singin’

If you could know me now

If you could know me somehow

If you could know the things that I’m reading

That peace is stalled without prosperity for all

Let the flowers and the weeds in

If you can hear me now

If you hear me somehow

If you hear the words that I’m hopin’

That we win the race

Against time and space

And the whole world is wide open

Thank you Celia. The song let some of the sadness and heart ache out; I know it's needed. I'm grateful to this tribe of extra-sensory mammals. Being in touch with our emotions lets us know we have the spirit within us.

I listened to the full set of songs as I ate my breakfast and found out the Mammals are in the mountains of NC. I live in the Piedmont which is not too far away.
