I absolutely loved this when I was a kid. It gives me chill bumps and brings back so many fond memories of childhood with family and friends.
It’s 3:20 am and I’m in my mom’s hospice room. I can’t sleep. I’ve been numb all week. I heard this song and I just lost it. The tears are streaming now, which is what I needed. I don’t wanna be numb. I wanna feel all the feels, regardless of how painful or difficult it is. So thank you for sharing this. ❤️
I've been numb all week too Sherry. I'm sorry about your Mom, that's very painful. We are all searching high and low for solace, and the brutality shows no signs of stopping, so we have to turn to the small things, and each other. Cats and lions help me find joy.
Play it for your mom...The music will comfort and soothe her...also the music from the film Out of Africa also very soothing. John Barry also composed the Out of Africa music.
Your being with your Mom in her final days and hours are an incredible gift you are giving her and yourself. Soak in every minutes and let the tears flow. 😇🙏🏼
When my mother was in the last few days of her life (also on hospice), she said to me, "Melinda, this is only a temporary separation." As a Christian, I know you understand this, and as painful as it is to lose a parent, I have held on to her words and I hope you hold these words in your heart as well. Just said a prayer for you and your mom. My deepest sympathy, sister in Christ.
Thank you so much for your sweet message and your prayers. ❤️ I’m so sorry you lost your mom. Watching my mom suffer through pain and struggle to breathe, and not being able to help her, has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to endure. And yes, I’m a Christian as well, and I know it’s not goodbye, but rather “I’ll see you later.” It’s still so hard to let go, though. I’m going to miss her so much. God bless you. 🙏🏻
Just remember they (departed loved ones) are just ‘beyond the veil’ and are available to assist you anytime you call on them! Through prayer & meditation you can call for their guidance and love.
Inspiration to stay embodied and see this through. Thanks, Celia. Once, this was the way of life on earth for humans and all beings. Before the fall, anyway (however one wishes to interpret 'the fall' is fine ... it's not inherently a christian notion - I'm not religious). As the pseudo-world crumbles and a new earth grid arises, all beings will live upon the earth in harmony once more. I won't be here to see it, likely, but I see it in my heart and mind already. I came for this. So did everyone reading this (at least, it seems to to me). It is so. Love to all.
Incorruptible, and the melody of Born Free are sad in that Incorruptible is contrary to much of corrupted humanity which sqaunders its potential to be Incorruptible or at least moving in that direction morally.
Valeri, As I started reading your comment this morning, I went right to the link you provided. I have spent the last 2hrs.45min watching it. Normally something that long I break it up in segments over time. This was too compelling. I am aware of most of her points --always learn something new-- but this was probably the most complete presentation of the of what the world is facing and must deal with. Thank you for posting. It's so hard knowing that a lot of people are truly not aware.
Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows
Born free to follow your heart
Live free and beauty surrounds you
The world still astounds you
Each time you look at a star
Stay free, where no walls divide you
You're free as the roaring tide
So there's no need to hide
Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're born free
(Stay free, where no walls divide you)
You're free as the roaring tide
So there's no need to hide
Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're born free
Thank you to ConcernedGrammy for the beautiful lyrics written out. <3

Thank you, Celia. Music always elicits strong emotions and stirs the soul. At least for me, anyway.
As well as the music of John Barry always an uplift and a big hug!

Kittens
At rest
Upon The Plain.
Rest safe
'Neath
A Mother's chin.
Moon To Sun
In Sky.
Now laying
Upon the surfaced,
Water...
Stiller than still.
Always For Thee...
My Dearest Love.
As a young kid, this was the first song I figured out how to play on the piano. I played (and sang) it ALL the time! I wanted to be Elsa.
Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows
Born free to follow your heart
Live free and beauty surrounds you
The world still astounds you

me too! Thank you for this.

I read "London Philharmonic" as "Lion Pandemic." Note to self: time to go to bed.
It’s great you present stuff like this in to break up the chaos ..
Funny , don’t get the chills too often but this song brings it out !
This brought back memories of The Crying Indian, Jacques Cousteau and Robert Goulet. Who knew?
How is Peter Duesberg doing?
I don't know. He's home with Siggi recovering slowly, is all I know. Let's all pray for him. He can speak. I will try to reach him one day soon.
I saw this film
So long ago
As a little kid.
I do admit,
I cried at the end.
But they weren't
Tears of sadness.
No...
You & Bibi
Have Given Me
A Most Precious Gift
Of, Joy & Comfort.
There are no words left.
Nice choice. I remember - can't beat nature (and humans are a part of nature!) for beauty and inspiration. Glad I started my day with that.
Beautiful and a wonderful memory.
I agree- yet at the same time, we need to see what the evil doers are about
