This article gives evidence this is a controlled demolition: https://off-guardian.org/2021/08/17/6-questions-we-need-to-ask-about-afghanistan/

Why did the Afghan army capitulate without firing a shot? Why did Trump's US-withdrawal agreement with Afghanistan while he was Prez include release of 5000 Taliban prisoners? And those 5000 are now released. Important questions.

But why do all this? Given all that is happening and has been happening globally – most of which seems to be lifted from the movie Idiocracy – I strongly intuit that the "controlled" facet of this demolition is in fact rank desperation. The rot you rightly bring to our attention here is part of the process, deliberate. It's one of the things I find most sickening, most deranged, and flat out stupid, of the whole show. The "oiligarchs" – and other globalist 'elites' – seem to be obsessed with depopulation – eugenics, planned parenthood –, with squeaky-clean techno cities and 'beautiful nature', and want shot of us ugly, barbaric, inelegant and uneducated "useless eaters". But to effect their asinine grand vision, they have invested trillions deliberately dumbing us down AND promoting perpetual-growth economics and narcissistic consumerism like their very lives depended on it. That is beyond absurd, beyond abject hypocrisy, and beneath contempt. It is an evil farce within an evil farce blindly driving its own insanity forwards while thinking itself the pinnacle of sanity and godliness.

Words fail me.

There, a wee rant for your emotional delectation.

To recap: weirdest shit is afoot, but surely the wheels are coming off. Surely. Have come off. And this is not about politics, not about nations, nor is it really about corporations. Those are all just vehicles. It is about those who believe success and power can be measured in materialistic terms and have way too much of both (as they understand it), against the rest of humanity. Sadly, the Powers That Be hire very able sociopaths who are outstanding at mass manipulation.

And there's the rub.

And no, there's nowhere anyone can go, except through this. Celia, you said it best a couple of posts ago, something like: "we have to do what we can. Then do what we cannot." Wise words!

Here's a well-sourced and well-written response – nobly published by OffG – to the Kit Knightly OffG article I linked to in my other comment under this post. It supports your position, Celia, that America has been profoundly embarrassed by the Taliban takeover, and explains how it happened. Its points echo what the email you shared hints at, namely that the Taliban today are not the Taliban of the past, and enjoy much support across Afghanistan as, essentially, proud freedom fighters. We'll surely learn more at events develop.

If Gilda were alive she'd know what to say about our Bizarroworld...

Scene: SNL set of old with Gilda Radner as Emily Litella

Emily Litella:

What's all this I hear about the Nobel Prize in Physics being awarded to a couple of Europeans who studied hogs and bison ?

Shouldn't something like that be covered by a Nobel Prize in Zoology ?

I mean...pigs are pretty much everywhere, but bison ?

Couldn't they at least find an Indian scientist to honor for studying bison ?

Oh, well...what do you expect from a prize committee based in a country

that dips perfectly good whitefish in lye ?

Anyway, I'm Emily Litella and thats...

Offscreen voice of Don Pardo:

Miss Litella, the prize in Physics was for work on the Higgs boson, not hogs and bison.

The Higgs boson allows some fundamental particles to have mass and form atoms.

without it, everything would move at the speed of light and have no mass.

Emily Litella:

Oh, that's very different....nevermind !

I realize, of course, you’re describing Americans in general. But I still have HOPE (and in the Lord) that a number of Americans haven’t succumbed to brain rot. And that strong, noble and true leadership is in the wings and will manifest itself. We ain’t dead yet :) Thank you for your perceptive and articulate writing, giving form to thoughts that others of us are likely having now, too.
