I think I'm 80, no, make that 90% silly and maybe, maybe 10% funny. "pigmentation" was a callout to all those tight-fisted especially Caucasians who were being as stingy with their pocketbook and they were with that deeply buried blue-eyed soul side of themselves still waiting to be discovered.
I did put my money where my mouth is a month ago. I was kinda odd how that went. I made an attempt at upgrading with a round number amount but the process seemed to freeze up somehow, that is, not go through. Then later that evening I saw that not only had it gone through it was an odd-numbered larger amount. I just smiled and thought, he works in mysterious ways. True story !
Since I’m chastising cheap people can I add that Celia isn’t in the business of dealing with subscription issues. She’s on Substack because they take care of those minor details.
