I remember when before Sniffy became prez Whoopi said that maybe he would name his wife as surgeon general and that she (Whoopi) had heard that his wife was a good doctor. Sniffy's wife actually has a doctorate in education.
Oh how i love it when these things fall apart - truly the gutter press. As for Whoopi, if we are to believe in free speech and all that then she should be able to say what she likes, but should be smart enough and brave enough to defend it when people react. She is neither!
I have stumbled onto CNN a couple of times and the shift in energy is palpable and left a nasty after-taste in my mind. The comments were not only negative and often vicious but also the vocabulary used was notably lacking in cohesion...I was reminded of the axiom "Misery loves company."
I'm liking Tim Pool more every day. Celia, why don't you get on his show? Or maybe even Joe's podcast, if you can swing that? If the latter, you have to stop by and say hi (I live about a mile away).
