Here's what I believe. This is an example of how people are being controlled - by establishing what "THEY" want us to believe is normal. In the little known Gospel of the Essene (TWO ancient papyrus documents, proven to be from the 1st C.E. AD near Palestine, and with the same wording) Christ told the Essenes that our first meal should "be with the sun at it's highest" and the 2nd (final) meal "with the setting of the sun. He also advocated uncooked vegetarian food which is low in glucose. The opposite of all night or late night partying.

One of these documents was "lost" in the secret archive of the Vatican since the 3rd C.E. AD WHEN they received that copy from the Nestorian Christian Monks who brought it to them from the middle of Asia. It was "found" in 1923 by Dr. Edmond Bordeaux Szekely and another man. The 2nd, a copy, was amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls (1947). So this all night partying and eating and likely drinking is exactly what those who opposed Christ's wisdom (the evil ones) want us to do. Christ referred to it as "sinning against" one's body. Sorry to be a "party-pooper"

Christ had to be silenced. The Essenes as well in the coliseums - to make an example of them. Then many Essenes killed themselves at Masada - knowing their fate was better via suicide - going to meet Christ. They hid his written words. They didn't tell you that the historian of that time and place, Josephus, wrote that "The Essenes are long lived and NEARLY DEVOID OF ILLNESS." Do you think that COVID19 was the first time that EVIL wanted us sick? The Essenes were living to 120 routinely just like the indigenous Cherokee Indians (Smoky Mtns) who had elders of 150 years "and still quite active" according to a British Observer (H. Timberlake).

Dr. Satchin Panda proved in 2016 that "WHEN you eat is more important than WHAT you eat." He proved that having "excess circulating glucose (ECG)" in the blood AS THE SUN SETS is HORRIBLE for your health. The ECG causes massive inflammation CONTINUOUSLY all through the night AND it doesn't stop until almost an hour AFTER awakening AND being exposed to light. THEN the pancreas wakes up, releases insulin which removes the ECG. BUT, the damage is done - maybe for 12 hours (ALL NIGHT) and based on my experience it takes days, maybe weeks in some situations, for that one night of damage to heal.

The evil ones didn't hand down this wisdom of Christ, thru the ages - THEY HID IT. So it makes sense that they would promote things that run counter/contrary to Christ's wisdom of our design. Like all night partying. It's intentional - not cultural. And we would see these things as "normal" - "the 'IN" thing to do" - "what everyone else is doing", etc.

Stop following the crowd folks. A news reports last year said that "79% of the world got vaccinated for COVID". if that is true or even close to true, that tells us what the evil one's count one - "Herd mentality." "Just say No" and "Go your own way."

Find a copy of "The Essene Gospel of Peace" and read HIS words without any "expert" telling you what it "really" means. After all the Vatican hid Christ's wisdom for 1700 years. And maybe you, like me (a former Catholic) never heard of that Gospel in the 20th century. And the Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano WROTE TO POTUS DJT (2019?) and told him "There is a great evil in the church." Recently actor Mel Gibson has commented, in youtube video's that he increasingly agrees with Vigano. Who is Vigano? He was the Nuncio (rep to the USA for the Vatican) for "Pope" Francis and the prior "Pope" Benedict. He would know wouldn't he? That's why he told DJT.

Keep up the outstanding work Celia.

Let me explain what you are missing here. This is popular art. The people express their aesthetic sense (always noisy and excessive) as a form of purification. A yearly catharsis. Probably, there were processions in Spain centuries before Christ. It's something that the Earth demands: the popular expression of emotions. The night is perfect and preferred for this purpose.

This Mediterranean tradition of doing weird and resonant things by night got mixed with the Christian religion. The themes of the Holy Week reverberate strongly with all the people from the Mediterranean region. Love, brotherhood, betrayal, shame, punishment, rejection, reconciliation, coming back to life.

In Northern traditions, the night is the most feared part of life. That's when the enemies attack. That's when fire is most valuable, but also most fragile. In the North, there seems to be a massive fear that the Sun will not come back tomorrow. Always night, eternal night. Only silence is appropriate with that cold emotion that culture imposes on people. But that's the North. The Boreal, the Septentrional.

The South is always different. It's Austral, and Meridional. In the South, the Sun shines mighty. In the North, the Moon takes over the mind. In the South people feel all passions at once, and differences are unimportant, for a short while. In the North, there are only differences, classifications and loneliness.

Thus, popular religious expression is very spectacular and communal in the South, but in the North, it is individual and very sober.

O&W, Thank you! I'll be looking for a copy today. I also grew up Catholic -the whole program, I even thought of becoming a nun at the age of 11-12. Finally did not think that's what God wanted me to do. I have been wanting to know where the holes in the story we've been given really are.

Have you read the Anastasia books? The woman in the Siberian forest?

No, I haven't read those books.

I just commented on my reflections on broad cultural differences. I guess it's a good starting point for a few good stories.

No drinking, and no partying, actually. Beer is available alongside soda in soda machines everywhere. They don't drink the way English speakers do, just as we feel no need to binge Pepsi. It's a religious celebration!

But you make valid points.

I haven't read any book on Josephus - just yet. I desperately want to read about his and other ancient writings but am swamped with staying current with current events in this massive turning point in human history. What I would STRONGLY recommend that anyone read is "The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception" (1997?) Authors: Baigent and Leigh. I re-read it recently.

They had at least two BOMBSHELLS for me. (1) They revealed of an exchange of letters around 1956 between two experts involved (part of the team) in examining/studying the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls documents. One expert, in Jerusalem, was finishing up his involvement and wrote to the other (in Britain?) to say that he was considering taking a theological position "with the church" (after he finished his work). The 2nd man wrote back and said "I would not worry about taking that theological position if I were you. When I am finished with my work, THE CHURCH WILL NO LONGER EXIST." It was not revealed WHY he said that - what did he know at that point? I conjecture it may have been the fact that the 2nd copy of the Essene Gospel was "amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls". THE FIRST PERSON WRITTEN WORDS OF CHRIST.

The authors also said that a famous expert also posited that the disciple Paul was actually Roman and it seemed that the Roman government/military came to his rescue an awful lot. Thus the "Pauline" aspect of the bible was suspect (not my conclusion). The two authors basically concurred and added that it looked to them that "Paul" was actually a Roman "operative" - planted into the Christian community. To write his gospel for those in control. Today we'd say "Deep State" helping manage "the narrative and what people believe" - as General Flynn referred (2021?) to what going on in the world right now.

In fact the two authors pointed out that the team of experts studying the DSS, was picked by a Steering Committee and that committee was picked by the Vatican and "the Vatican was controlled by Israel." Their words.

So I believe that the entire Catholic Bible is suspect. It's what they wanted us to believe for control and $$. The Essene Gospel shows Christ's wisdom but most of it is about health AND the Essenes lived incredibly long lives. How do you control such longevity and wisdom?

An expert involved in the DSS examinations says "The church will no longer exist" and another expert posits the possibility that Paul was Roman and somehow tied to Rome/government. Then the two authors, who fully examined all of this, concluded he was a planted Roman operative. And in the 3rd C.E. AD the first-person account of Jesus' words is REJECTED by the Vatican/COuncil of Nicean and "lost" for 1,700 years.

You can't make this up. I grew up Catholic, 12 years of Catholic school and Church. I knew of pedophilia before I ever knew/heard the word. Not a victim but there was "talk". But I never heard of "The Essene Gospel of Peace" and that two copies were found in the 1st half of the 20th century before I was born. Why?

"There is a great evil in the Church" - Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano wrote to POTUS DJT around 2019/2020. For 2000 years. They wanted us to worship God and Christ as the Son of God - BUT they were to be the conduit - forgiveness of sins, church going, tithing, etc.

Not Ironically, in the Essene Gospel, a man asks Christ "Which laws of life should we follow, that of Moses and the Scriptures or that of which you preach?" Within Christ's answer was "those are dead words by dead men. ... Learn the laws of life by living life." In one sentence Christ discounted Moses and the Scriptures. So the Catholic Bible is "dead words of dead men"

As a former catholic - now a mere Jesus follower, (because I’m for personal relationship with Jesus and the Creator, our Heavenly Father - without the man made and added “religion” and rituals that are not biblical)

I also agree with you, and I like what very courageous Vigano has to say.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/archbishop-vigano-freemasonry-seeks-to-destroy-everything-through-permanent-revolution/

He is awake to the globalist cult religious -orders plans.

He is not a fan of the current Jesuit pope either, who is contradicting many of the New Testament instructions and teachings (and warnings) of Jesus Christ and he strongly revokes this Popeout on it on all the things that are in opposition to the gospels . Hence his recent excommunication..

Either you believe and follow the Bible completely, or you don’t. If you do but add this and that, you are really making up your own false religion .

There may be things that make us squirm or uncomfortable because we are not God, and not holy - trying to be better, but still imperfect as He perfects us as we surrender pride and fleshly struggles to him throughout our lives.

He is compassionate and gentle and knows we war against our flesh.

Jesus said if you are lukewarm (wishy washy) he would “vomit” you out of his mouth.

That’s pretty strong statement and position.

At the end of the day, or our lives, we all get to receive and believe or not.

He gives us freedom of that choice.

He will transform your soul in amazing ways and help you cope and navigate through this bumpy world we live in.

This Resurrection weekend, my prayer is many of you will accept him into your hearts and lives. I could not imagine my life without Him.

He’s real and he says if you seek Me you WILL find Me.🙏

Romans 10 verse 9 the apostle Paul said to receive JESUS (Yeshua) :

“that IF you confess with your MOUTH the Lord Jesus , (ie say I believe Jesus you are my savior and the awaited Messiah)

and BELIEVE in your heart that God has raised

Him from the dead,

you WILL be saved.”

This is the weekend we as Christians celebrate the Messiah, and we look forward to his return. ALL and ANYONE are called to come to Him.

May God bless you all and your families.🙏

In love -

We have a similar thing here in Detroit in the summer with loud music all night long but instead of a procession, we have a symphony of gunshots. It isn’t quite as edifying as Semana Santa in Granada, but it’s the best we can do.😊

¡Qué arte más grande!

In my city there is a preference for drums. Very few brass bands, we should have more. There is one procesión where the band starts playing "Blowin' in the wind" by Dylan. That song always makes me chuckle.

Every Holy Thursday there is the procesión de la Piedad, which starts at 0 am (of Friday) and lasts until 0530 am or so. All the time, the cofrades play their drums with tremendous passion.

This is called “community,” that which they sucked the last vestiges out of what was left of our “culture” 5 years ago. Other than the high altar of woke, it seems all we have been left with in the cities is their ersatz offering…over-pierced, over-tattooed, over-drugged paid protesters. I miss the bright colors and costumes of the summer street festivals but we have nothing that compares to the annual Féria in Seville, which is something to behold.

It’s Holy Week! I love it! Giving love and thanks for Jesus. Giving thanks ahead of time—on the way.

Keep us thrilled and take lots of videos.

Every Good Friday, our neighbours had a procession for Jesus. This was way back when I was a adolescent and young adult. Our neighbourhood (at the time) was heavily Italian and Catholic, of course.

There was something very special that I didn't understand or appreciate. I do now!

This is a great example of why Spain continues to be my favourite other country, Celia,

and with a particular predilection for Andalucía, or my memory of it at least - it's been 30 years.

And I must admit that having seen the extent to which they caved in to tyranny during 'covid',

I have wondered whether they might have lost the crazy unruliness, the unruly craziness,

which was just one of the many things I loved about them. This gives me a glimmer of hope.

Muchas gracias por compartirlo, y saludos! 🥂😊
