We escaped NJ after over half a century. Fuhrer Phil was intolerable, suffocating. The kids really suffered horribly, and NJ had the most - per capita - deaths in nursing and veteran homes in 2020. Apparently a veteran could survive storming Normandy Beach, but not NJ's nursing homes, which are 74% privately owned and where ownership changes "several times a week" (Manatt Report June 2020).
Very cute story. But if you go to NJ, my suggestion is to have an exit plan.
For me, it’s the moment, “So we hopped the fence.”
I’ve been in NJ since mid-2019. At first, I hated almost everything about this area. Until I realized that one of the things I hated most comes with, as in a kind of duality, one of the things I admire most. The attitude that if a rule or obstacle is obviously stupid, F*** the rule or obstacle.
I live in the beautiful farmlands of North Jersey, amongst patriotic, hardworking Americans. I feel like Jersey always gets a bad rap…thank you for showcasing these kind hearted Jersey folks taking the time to help the smallest of God’s creatures ❤️
Jersey gets a bad rap, because the only things shown about NJ are, the Jersey bois and goils, the mob, the dirty big cities, the garbage, the pollution, you know, things that make it seem like New Yowk.
I've been told about the farms, but have never seen them.
They do exist, I swear. I live amongst rolling hills and gorgeous farms, sometimes I find cows on my front lawn. My neighbors proudly wave American flags and stand for freedom. The patriots here don’t vote for Phil Murphy or support Joe Biden. I wish the entire state of NJ could be like this..
I believe in the "rolling hills and gorgeous farms." I've only been to NJ one time in my life, as a child with my Mom and Dad. We stayed at a Holiday Inn in Paramus. It was horrible. That's all I've ever seen of NJ. There's places in my Midwestern state that are much like Paramus to me. I don't like them either. We also have flat and rolling hills and gorgeous farms. That's the part I like to see.
That little goose running his little heart out to keep up with those boys is the best! I kept expecting him to stop and rest, but no! He was like the energizer bunny. He kept going, and going, and going. Then they found his family! A joyous reunion! 🤗
Jeffrey? Did he tell the guys that was his name? I got exhausted just watching the little guy run his little heart out.
Props to the adorable "Jersey boys."
That almost made my cry .. in a good way
And THIS is why we never give up! : )
Thank you for sharing! My daughter just moved to NJ, and this makes me much happier about it than I was - thanks!

I just meant the New Jersey esprit. As I understand it.
Here's to the Jersey Spirit! (This was great!)

So cute! And sweet!
Thank God for Children! Who else could have/would have taken time from their “daily routine” to take Jeffery home…?
