If you go around calling yourself a victim long enough, eventually you’ll become one. 🥴

I might be mistaken, but I really struggle to believe Harry and Meghan, part of the beast system themselves, lost everything. I think it’s all theater. Uh, I mean, “theatre”.

Or move back to Canada and we have to spring for their security like we did the first time the moved for 4 mins on their layover before they left for California...

Well it definitely wouldn’t be Give, Send, Go...God and prayer is an option on that platform.

Now that IS funny, Ingrid! ❤️

When I view things through the lens you’re using, it makes sense.

If you want to spark a bank run/financial collapse/ government control of the banks, get someone famously controversial involved. The supporters AND detractors will beat the drum.

Thanks. In addition to the advantage of delaying understanding by adding to the confusion^, the simple will gloat over the “losses” of those they perceive to be evil because they either *are* evil (or so we’re told) or because they’re simply wealthy, and these gloating simple will be distracted from what we should be paying attention to. All we can do is play the game and do our best to walk in integrity with what we think is within our control.

^understanding and confusion: is it theater? Limited hangout? Reality? What’s real anymore? Will we confuse real spaceships shooting at us and the person next to us being vaporized, next year, for holograms, while Hitler and Epstein run around naked and on fire for all to see--but invisible to us because they’re behind a cloaking shield? I’m no longer sure George Floyd, or Christa McAuliffe, are dead (yeah, I said it.) I am only sure that people are easily manipulated, while thinking themselves clever. All I know for certain I can truly control is how clever I assume I am, and in that regard, I give up.

The $250K FDIC payment should get them through a week or two, poor kids.

I thought they did away with that. Changed some law. IDK.

Aw, what a shame. I am sure the ex royals will join the homeless soon in one of those ubiquitous California camps. On another note, I see that the wind turbine mapping tech is killing what remains of an endagered whale species. "Over the last 60 days 10 whales have washed ashore, dead on the coast of North Eastern United States." This from the Naked Emperor Substack.

None of the climate hypocrites seems to give a rip about some whales.

I don’t do well with people that mess with God’s beautiful animals. Not well at all...

The situation with the whales is devastating and enough to make you want to give up. And nobody's talking about it.

It makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Me either. Wind turbines kill and injure so many birds every year.

I don’t feel bad for the rich woke types but, there will be thousands of small businesses that will not have access to their funds. That will be a huge problem. From not meeting payrolls, to not paying suppliers. This could create a tsunami of business and personal bankruptcies.

Except for the customers with psychic abilities that moved their funds to JP Morgan Chase😉!

What I've read is only those accounts with $250K or less are insured by the FDIC. Anything more will have to wait for.... maybe pennies on the dollar IF SVB can be sold.

Expand full comment

An account can be worth more, but recompense per account is only $250,000

Expand full comment

"But not everyone got out in time obviously, there is a long line of depositors who are over the $250,000 FDIC insured limit (in fact only somewhere between 3 and 7% of total deposits are insured). The following list, while incomplete, is approximately sorted by size of exposure:"

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/record-bank-run-drained-quarter-or-42-billion-svbs-deposits-hours-leaving-it-negative-1bn

And this from Carol Roth: "In addition, Bloomberg has been reporting that north of 93% of SVB’s deposits were not insured, and did not qualify for the FDIC because of the size of the deposit — or other reasons." https://www.theblaze.com/shows/the-glenn-beck-program/silicon-valley-bank

I tried to pull $5,000 out of the bank this morning, something I do nearly every Saturday for payroll and they limited me to $1,500. Small local bank in the Midwest, probably not connected to anything, but still. Made me worry.

Expand full comment

If they usually let you pull out $5000 and this time they didn't it's definitely connected. A run on the banks is happening. The whole enchilada is a massive ponzi of digital ones and zeros. M2 money supply crashed at the fasted rate in history. Liquidity drying up. Get to cash, silver, gold as quickly as possible. Last men still trusting the system gets stuck holding the bag of s**t.

They'll have to kill me then. I can't convert to paying my guys and mortgage company with gold and silver fast enough.

Open accounts in wise. You can open as many as you want and you can transfer to different currencies. I hold accounts in Euros, Dollars, Mexican Pesos, Polish Zloties, and Hungarian Forint. Foreign currencies can also protect you. From Wise you can schedule deposits to your employees in dollars without exposure to a small or medium bank in the U.S.. It's one option for diversification other than metals. All the best Don.

Sincere thanks, I'll look into it. I'm probably a generation older than you and not really up on those kinds of things. Maybe you could do a post on it. Like your stack, and you've inspired me to pick up my guitar again. Haven't touched it in almost 25 years, but like you, being in a band was some of the best times of my life.

More than bank deposits are involved. There are also loans. Some of the wineries in Napa Valley have accounts with the bank, and now doubt they will be able to cover their payroll.

Expand full comment

The news of the bank failure was all over, especially in the San Francisco Chronicle and The Guardian. Poor banking practices and hubris caught up with them. Deposits are guaranteed by FDIC, but only up to $250,000.

Do I feel sorry for Harry? No. Welcome to America. You might consider getting a job.

Expand full comment

Mostly rich people and corporations. Rich people are more likely to have multiple banks and not keep as much cash, so no big deal. Corporations are most affected because they are unlikely to have cash accounts under 250,000 and so are uninsured and may face bankruptcy

This will lead to a consolidation in the Tech Industry as many will be forced to sell or merge with large Tech companies who woll remain unscathed and obtain intellectual property rights cheaply

This is all by design. Look for other banks to fail and we may see similar consolidation in the banking industry. Instead of bail outs for banks the banks will be encouraged to reduce liabilities to cover their declining assets. Liabilities are cash, your deposits. So they will give your digital deposits a 30% haircut like they did in Greece/Cyprus. No bail out required. You can eat cheap bugs instead of expensive beef. Win -Win. Klaus is on a roll
