Yes. I made a comment to that effect last week. How convenient for the government that Hamas provided pretext for imposition of martial law....

Hamas was created and funded by Israel.. just like US created the Taliban in the 80s to fight the Soviet and Isis was created during the Obama admin. I find it hard to believe that the Israel Gov't and their intelligence didn't know about this low level of invasion when their technology and surveillance can see a mouse movement on their Gaza Strip border. It's not even a hot minute and they're already flipped the script from Russia/Ukraine to Israel/Palestine. They using the same tactics as Operation Northwoods! And those axxholes are not creative enough to give us a new playbook.. yet ppl keep falling for it 😤 Netanyahu as a PM always come with destruction

I remember so much chaos with him in years past as a PM. "They" put him back in bc he's complicit. For the love of humanity.. wise up people🦉PLS!

Remember too that Russia/Ukraine flipped the switch from covid and the Canadian truckers (as well similar emerging movements around the world).

He’s a hardliner which is what Israel needs to fight the evil of Hamas/terrorism. Forget all the back and forth. It was naked aggression. Hopefully we find out whether Israel was behind it soon. I fervently hope they were not but nothing surprises me anymore. Look at the Israeli uptake of the freaking vax!!! Wtf?

A false presumption. Mossad was good when it used electronic surveilance as a backup to spywork. Thanks to Amos Gilad, agents were abandoned in favour of ES. Pay the price. Iran created a second Hamas, with no links to the prosaic version. Second, the US Empire is sinking. Third, the boycott is destroying the Israeli economy. Fourth, Israel has betrayed all its allies, including China. The price of arrogance and stupidity is extinction.

It has been a gut-punching shock to listen to trusted pundits, most recently Douglas Murray reacting to proportionate response. Much has been taken out of context in a bid to insist on a black/white response. Has reason left the building?

Reason left the building as of March 2020. And it looks like it’s permanent for many. 😢

Douglas Murray has shown his true colours these past few years. Not a word about the draconian responses to Covid from the supposed fighter for liberty, and completely on board with the Ukraine project.

I know, but hearing that clip of Murray's either/or pontificating on proportionate response as if we were five-year-old listeners ... sigh. I expected better. Clearly not.

The über-strong Israeli fortress has long been understood and admired.

They’ve been at the ready for 75 years.

October 7 was the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, as well as the 1571 Battle of Lepanto.

The burning question then: Why was this bizarre security breach so obvious that everyday folk are scratching their heads?

Why wouldn’t there be more subtlety?

Over-confident sloppiness?

Or the conclusion that the information wars are exhausting everyone so that we no longer know what to think?

Or both?

Kudos to Charlie for having the courage to speak.

This is one powerful little truth bomb! Good to share with those freaking out about the alleged atrocities and insisting that Gaza should be flattened. Excuse me? Half the population is 18 years old or less, the leadership of Hamas resides Qatar, there were warnings about the attack... and so many more truth bombs. I'm thinking the word 'bomb' is not one I'm going to use from here on. Thank you for every post you've done on this, Celia. They are invaluable. Truth GEMS!

I just got this from my dear friend, young poet Mosab Abu Toha, from Northern Gaza: "I'm alive, but not safe. 30 members of my family were killed yesterday at night in Gaza city. I just got the news from my brother that they bombed my neighborhood. Whole families, my neighbors are killed. We left our house on Thursday. Two hours ago, I just went back home to get some food and clothes. And just a few minutes ago, they bombed my neighbors. They are dead. We are dead."

Celia, thank you so much for maintaining sanity & being human in this horror—I would like to ask if I could post an appeal for funds. I have done this in previous attacks on Gaza. My friend Mosab goes from person to person & finds out what they need & gives them some cash directly or tries to get what they need himself. Right now he is on the run with three kids, his wife, his parents, & four families they had been harboring in the house, I think they might be at the school where Mosab teaches but nowhere, obviously, is safe. City Lights has also offered a free download of Mosab's extraordinary book, Things You May Find Hidden In MY Ear: Poems from Gaza,, that I worked on with him. Pepe Escobar posted the appeal for me & I would like to spread it far & wide. The needs will not go away as this escalates. Thank you for considering...

Ammiel, your words have me absolutely stunned.

Yes, of course, we would all like to help however we can. How can we get funds to Mosab? Thirty members of this family killed? How is this poor man still able to even stay in his right mind?

I don't know what to do Ammiel. Who is reporting truth, anywhere, any country? I am still feeling a strange heavy shame blanket that somehow is telling me I should not bear witness to the victims in Gaza because "what about what about what about…" Also, there is an alien sense of ethnic hostility toward Palestinians. "Nobody wants them.." all that kind of talk. Please be our boots on the ground (wherever you are.) bring us information and truth. I feel somehow that people have locked their hearts. but how this happened I don't know. Frequencies?

Am stunned by much of the response.

There can be a both/and response: Decry the barbarian terrorist attack, with the horrendous loss of Israeli lives, while at the same time support lives of those everyday Palestinians (47%?) who did not support Hamas.

I note that Gutfeld has not been on this week.

I understand Fox’s perceived need for 24/7 coverage of war, thus Gutfeld considered too frivolous …

But is there concern Greg + Tyrus might be loose cannons?

Even a support for Hamas (which itself would have degrees, not monolithic) should not be license for Israel to inflict war crimes upon them. Heightened surveillance of them, sure, but try to restrain from anything stronger unless absolutely necessary.

Jessica, this very simple and easily understood comment is the most comprehensive and accurate explanation I’ve seen for almost all that ails the world. Normal people don’t become terrorists, presidents, CEO’s, prime ministers, NIAID directors, generals or intelligence operatives. The ruthless lack of human empathy such roles require disqualifies most people.

but the psychopaths can't succeed without the complicity of all of those people you've disqualified. In our legal system, they'd all be guilty of complicity in genocide. Nothing worse than normal people. They're like propaganda

The idea is for them to never be allowed to succeed. Unfortunately, the Craps and the leaders of every country want them to win. We need to gather in our capitols to protest and then take it to DC. Unfortunately, after Jan. 6, nobody wants to do that.

no. you need to stop participating in the system. Your problem is likely to be that you have a loan on your house or on your life. I never got a house because I knew that I didn't want to try to own something in a criminal system because it would leave me as vulnerable as most of you are. I likely won't do much better than you all, but at least I can pull out a lot further than you can. The gov't is a criminal cabal. Asking them for anything is asking for trouble

That may happen in some areas, its a big world, and this is a move by the World Government crowd, they've been pushing this World Tyranny idea for over a 100yrs. Banksters mostly, welfare bum parasite Malthusian Psychopaths. A revolt in one country can spread like wildfire to others, just what happened in the old Soviet Empire.

The key to the collapse of the Soviet Empire is COMMON KNOWLEDGE. That is the weapon need to develop. When most everyone no longer believes, when they just laugh at the propaganda machine, when most everyone hates or at least mocks the authorities, when a school kid says something nice about the government, all the other kids laugh at him and make fun of him as been really stupid and gullible, that's when we will take down this corrupt system.

There are different kinds of psychopathy. The fictional character Hannibal for example, while a psychopath, also was intelligent and used logic to achieve his ends. "The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves." —Vladimir Lenin

It’s an interesting hypothesis that, based on Lenin’s quote, Hamas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mossad. I’m not skeptical and I’m not trying to be difficult, but where’s some evidence in support of this claim? Believing Lenin? Getting into the minds of psychopaths? There ought to be objective (in addition to subjective) evidence.

I didn't mean to imply that it was anything more than my opinion. I have the logic that the lamestream media says the opposite of what I have written. That's usually a good clue.
