I can’t, I dislocated it and my ankle is broken. I’m kidding of course…but my elbow is legitimately fucked.

Sirka, that is a great comment. I have felt the same way. I think my head will feel so swimmy I can't think at all.

I don't shake my head as vigorously as I used to. Ha Ha

Any entity with access to capital markets has plenty of money to burn, while small businesspeople struggle to secure a modest bank loan. The former thrive and the latter perish, rinse and repeat. And we wonder why all that's left is garbage.

CNN+ is reported to have between 100,000 and 150,000 subscribers, which is less than Gonzalo Lira drew in roughly the same number of weeks. Lira didn't have a $300 million budget, but he had one thing CNN didn't have: integrity.

I never watch or pay attention to any TV news of any kind. 95% of the news is leftist controlled and therefore never anything close to the truth or reality. Shut off the news and you will never miss a thing. Leftists are some of the stupidest people on the planet, next to most politicians and the thugs of big pharma and the medical mafia.

The embedded Fox News clip demonstrates the unmitigated nonsense of mainstream media "news" - four chicks flashing long legs and make-up that will require a sand blaster to remove, one of whom can't even put her cell phone down long enough to pay complete attention to what is being said...One America News Network SEEMS to, for now, be legitimate...

Interesting / disturbing free online conference this weekend, "Stepping Into the Future" (w/ session on "Moral Enhancement").  From the "Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies".

Sharing for FYI, I'm not affiliated with the group, nor do I know anything about them, just somehow on their mailing list.

I can believe there's (some) people, working on "posthumanism" with good intentions, who don't see these lines being crossed as violations of life itself ... who think they're the wisest ones to build the inevitable. . . Who don't understand how horrifically this can be misused, or who don't want others to understand that ...

From IEET -"This coming weekend, the Stepping Into the Future conference has session on "Moral Enhancement" - Are we fit for the future?

Arguably high degrees of moral fortitude are required for humans to coordinate through some potentially rough times ahead and avoid existential crises.

This session discusses enhancing human morality to achieve civilizational resilience, while considering freedom & autonomy.

It consists of 2 talks and a panel: Pramod K. Nayer (Hyderabad University) - Posthumanism and it's Moral Imperatives

James Hughes (IEET) - Cyborg Virtues: Using BCIs for Moral Enhancement

Panelists: James Hughes, PJ Manney and Pramod K. Nayer -

Panel: Are we fit for the future?

The three other sessions are “Engineering a Better Future”, “AI Safety & Longtermism” and “AGI Architectures & Agency”

See more: http://www.scifuture.org/events/stepping-into-the-future/#agenda "

(In this 2010 article, J. Hughes, executive director of IEET (& author of Citizen Cyborg), says -

"If the imaginary moral community of humanity is flexible enough to expand beyond white male property-owners to all human beings surely it can expand a little further to include gorillas, cyborgs and mutants.")

"What is the matter with these people?" Goodness knows; something in the water, maybe.

For many years I observed, sometimes sounding like a broken record, that "the Left is winning" the culture war. We conservatives seem to have lost touch with what was happening around us, particularly in the education establishment, and we are paying the price for that laxity.
