The gaslighting is CONSTANT: a man can be a woman, a woman can be a man (no, it's the ultimate denial of reality), the climate "crisis" is your fault (you exhale carbon dioxide and must therefore die), vaccines are "safe and effective" (except when they kill your parents/sister/brother/child/neighbor), Russia is the aggressor in Ukraine (no it's not), NATO is a "defensive" organization (no, it's been trying to surround Russia and China for decades), Biden is mentally fit to be President (no, he's been demented for years and may already be dead), being homosexual means "love is love," (no, more like "lust is lust" with thousands of lifetime hook-ups), abortion is always safe, legal, and rare (no, at least 60 million talented individuals have been wiped out and Social Security is now on life support), and women should put career first over family (no, the number of depressed childless women is astounding).
More vicious gaslighting examples: raw vegetables are good for you (no they're not), smoothies are good for you (no, they're pesticide specials), red meat is bad for you (no, it keeps you strong and resistant), cholesterol-lowering drugs are good for you (no, they destroy testosterone and make you demented), Ritalin is good for your child (no, he'll be short), stopping acid production in the stomach with Prilosec is a good thing (no, its long-term use causes dementia), and fluoride toothpaste is good for you (no, it's poison, that's why toothpaste for children clearly states not to swallow it).
All this is a drop in the ocean of lies that surrounds you on all sides.
My father was a VP for Capitol Records in the days of Beatles, Bob Seger, Doobie Brothers, etc. until 2004. I found Brad of Five Times August during the onset of CovidCon. I grew up with everyone and their brother asking if my father could “get them a record deal”. I had not encountered anyone I would have broached my dad with until Brad but knowing what I now know of the music industry, Capitol would not have signed him due to his principles and Brad would have remained an independent to protect said principles. The entire Silent War album is incredible and is the only one I will be purchasing to mark the time we are living in. Eric Clapton tried to speak out, too, and got hammered.
