There is nothing about the ability of Congress to legislate the opposite result (which they no doubt can, though presumably the gutless Republicans would not go along. Would they?) There is nothing about the ability of states to create their own laws, though this would surely result in a large split in the states. Also not a word about the lethality and destructiveness of the Vaxx, which should definitely be the death knell for this whole agenda. Ain't going to happen. Also, note that the plaintiffs LOST the companion case (federal workers will need to get vaxxed)--which I did not read. So the Court may believe the Vaxx has some benefits and is basically justified, at least right now. The justices are all vaxxed, I believe. And I don't trust them one bit.
All people should have this right but this does not cover all. This is a small tactical victory on which we can hopefully build. We cannot relax until the power is taken away from the criminals at the top of the power pyramid. All our problems emanate from one source.
I agree this is great news but as usual they bargained. Now healthcare workers will have to decide between a job or their life. This is going to create a huge healthcare worker shortage and that includes nurses and doctors. We are already experiencing this crisis. These workers most of whom have natural immunity cared for COVID patients for almost 2 years now and without a vaccine. They are probably the safest of all Americans because they have natural immunity. Forcing a medical procedure on anyone is unconstitutional and the in my opinion the Supreme Court failed us again.
No one is even bothering to fight for federal workers who are losing their jobs due to Biden's order. And yeah, let's toss those healthcare workers to the curb too. This is a concession to business, not any victory worth celebrating.
