Seymour Hersh Writes Unassailable Account Of US/Norway/NATO Demolition Of Nordstream Pipeline
Which Had Already Been Promised By Nulled, Biden, et al, Explicitly, Repeatedly
I made a minor ritual out of reading Seymour Hersh’s article detailing how the US and Norway pulled off the destruction of Nord Stream 2, delivering to Queen Victoria Nuland, and her fellow rabid Neo-cons, her stated fantasy of the Russian pipelines being reduced to “…a hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea.”
Here’s the already historic piece, titled: “How America Took Out The Nordstream Pipeline,” brought to you by the last-man-standing free media platform we love so much, namely Substack.
First an aside: Seymour Hersh on Substack means: Journalism is alive and well and living on Substack. One day we will tell you the full truth of what it was like to work on the media plantations. To risk your life for stories you got paid next to nothing for, and even if you sold a million magazines, (and I did) nobody ever had the thought that your life could be more comfortable—only the gilded editors. Turned out it was all rooted in undiagnosed masochism, but nobody knew this at the time.
I have no idols but I love Substack.
Of course Seymour Hersh would arrive here, would eventually dock his good boat. It would have taken time for him to fathom the concept; Like a thoroughbred race horse being told: No shoes, no saddles, no rider. Just do what you are trained to do.
Exploitation (in journalism) has been selected against, and all the gangrene of mockingbird zombie journalism is in a body we are no longer attached to.
Still, I put off reading Hersh’s piece; I knew it would make me angry, but not at all surprised. I don’t like living in two worlds, where only one is obliged to deal with reality, at all, and where anybody can pretend anything is true.
About this, the truth is now as categorical as any truth can be. Yet we’re silent.
The ritual of reading the Hersh article (not a “blog post” as the propagandists would have it) involved sitting squarely in the sofa, reading glasses polished, a fire lit, and a glass of lemon water as well as coffee number 3. I read it slowly, and parts of it, I read twice. The queasy thing about this epoch is that the criminal culprits admit their crimes first, openly, re-adorning them as virtue in high gloss globalist-speak, so that when journalistic exposés, even of this caliber, appear, they fail to pierce the glass whale. The glass whale answers to nobody and nothing. Some kind of Victorian dance equivalent of social dialectic:
I am of course very familiar with Hersh’s work, legacy, and also what was in this article, but I’d put off reading it, as I was almost frantically de-cluttering and trying to get this place in order before my book comes out.
I knew the article would be of a dismantling nature. The Big Lie of Nordstream 2 (“Prolly Russia did it cuz everything bad is like, um, Russia..”) would be not only “taken apart” by Seymour Hersh, but that it would be de-assembled down to the last tiny screw and bolt. Without any hysteria. I knew it would be attacked by hacks nobody ever heard of, and that Hersh would be accused of giving a gift to Vladimir Putin.
Perfect summation of this predictable sequence by Glenn Greenwald here:
“Who discredited Sy Hersh?” Nobody, that’s who.
Seymour Hersh Wikipedia page, well worth reading in full.
From the article:
“More recently, Victoria Nuland expressed satisfaction at the demise of the newest of the pipelines. Testifying at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing in late January she told Senator Ted Cruz, “Like you, I am, and I think the Administration is, very gratified to know that Nord Stream 2 is now, as you like to say, a hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea.”
“The source had a much more streetwise view of Biden’s decision to sabotage more than 1500 miles of Gazprom pipeline as winter approached. “Well,” he said, speaking of the President, “I gotta admit the guy has a pair of balls. He said he was going to do it, and he did.”
“Asked why he thought the Russians failed to respond, he said cynically, “Maybe they want the capability to do the same things the U.S. did.
“It was a beautiful cover story,” he went on. “Behind it was a covert operation that placed experts in the field and equipment that operated on a covert signal.
“The only flaw was the decision to do it.”
—Seymour Hersh
I wonder only why the article was not called “How America and Norway Took Out The Nordstream Pipeline.”
Norway Wikipedia page. (Worth reading in full.)
I also question why Hersh calls Stoltenberg a committed “anti-communist.”
I would call him a “committed globalist.” And I consider globalists to be soul-partners with internationalism, or “communism.” But this is all a big mess, these terms.
“On a per capita basis, Norway is the world’s largest producer of oil and natural gas outside of the Middle East.”
—Wikipedia.
“Norway maintains the Nordic welfare model with universal health care and a comprehensive social security system, and its values are rooted in egalitarian ideals.”
—Wikipedia
Norway’s oil was discovered in the 1960s, but not accessed until the 1980s. Right around this time, or maybe some years later, “How many Norwegians does it take to screw in a lightbulb?” jokes began to wane in neighboring Sweden.
I think we have to wrap our heads around Norway. But how? Americans, I mean. Who is Jens Stoltenberg and what shaped him? I have, literally, the craziest Stoltenberg story and I will make a post out of it in the near future. It’s truly bananas, it took place in 1956, between his father and my father; I promise to tell it to you soon and simply.
Meanwhile:
Nuland et al should be tried for war crimes. They are heinous individuals with blood on their hands. Ukraine is a meat grinder. But, as they've said, they'll stop at nothing to destroy Russian, even to the last Ukrainian. Blowing up Nordstream is nothing short of terrorism. Not sure why this journalist is being lauded with 'breaking' the story when it has been known since the beginning that the US was involved in blowing up the pipeline. However, it's good that someone of his calibre has written about it.
Does anyone seriously believe that Russia will not retaliate at some near future time? And how does Germany feel about losing their abundance of cheap Russian natural gas? And the US blowing up these pipelines was an ecological disaster! And no one in our mainstream media (fake news) is touching this huge story…..
