"People, trapped in a story."

Maybe this Solzhenitsyn quote fits here...a continuation from Celia's recent Juri Lina post, as well:

"You must understand, the leading Bolsheviks who took over Russia were not Russians. They hated Russians. They hated Christians. Driven by ethnic hatred they tortured and slaughtered millions of Russians without a shred of human remorse.

It cannot be overstated.

Bolshevism committed the greatest human slaughter of all time.

The fact that most of the world is ignorant and uncaring about this enormous crime is proof that the global media(and public education) is in the hands of the perpetrators."

- Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

It would be helpful if I had a date/time- frame for this quotation...if I can find it, I'll update.

What people, trapped in what story?

In this case, Americans, on the edge of their seats( by design) waiting for "theTruth" about the assassinations( and hopefulness) of the 1960's.

It's about *narrative control*.

Some "facts" will come out about JFK, or MLK or Malcom X and *immediately* the web-spinners and the squid- inkers will offer 5 debunkings and 3 alternative versions to combat the new information.

It.is.never.meant.to.be resolved.

These stories' VALUE are in >>>NEVER BEING RESOLVED<<<.

Walk away.

What reason did Trump give, for not releasing the JFK files, after promising to do so?

The assassination itself ,imo, was "the horror".

What the "American people" "would not be able to bear" is the "who actually did it".

And how it then ties to:

1) 9-11

and ...

2) US DoD involvement in

planning, gain-of-function, and rollout of the Covid19 operation.

...which is still currently ongoing.

I assumed something like that went on behind the scenes. And I think with the first impeachment, there was some kind of connection with Trump ordering the assassination of Soleimani, who was actually fighting ISIS (created and supported by the US and Israel). Given the timing, I imagined that the impeachment was sort of used as a knife to Trump's throat, with the message being something along the lines of "show us you will be a cooperative puppet by assassinating Soleimani or we will convict you in the Senate." And I think Trump even hinted that this was the case: https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020/01/report-trump-cited-impeachment-pressure-to-kill-soleimani.html

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/did-trump-kill-soleimani-to-appease-senators-whose-support-he-needs-on-impeachment-936180/

So to save himself from being convicted in the Senate, he had the Iranian General Soleimani killed.

Pretty sure that President Trump was under intense pressure by the CIA not to release those files. As for the rest--I have been studying the four assassinations for the last 30 years, off and on. It is important, also, to link them to Watergate and Iran/Contra and to carry the thread forward to September 11th. In the last few years I have found myself reading at least one book per year on the subject of the JFK assassination. We will never know EXACTLY how it worked, but there is an astonishing amount of information that intensely exceeds reasonable doubt and for me there has been no question about the legitimacy--the complete ;lie--of the popular 'narrative' since I first dipped into the subject in the 1980s, when I was in my 20s. I don't need any official correction to the narrative. At this point I anticipate that I would not trust it.

Not sure what you mean by time frame/context. I think that I came across, if not this quote, certainly this sentiment, this year as I was reading Solzhenitsyn's memoirs--Caught Between Two Millstones (two volumes). Equally, I may have encountered it in Volume Two of the Gulag Archipelago.

Solzhenitsyn moved to the US in the 1980s or 90s...i'm curious where he was living( and under what government) when he published (or spoke) that quote.

What were the publishing dates of the volumes you've read?

Correction/Edit: per wiki, Solzhenitsyn moved to the US with his family, in 1976.

Expand full comment

Well, the publishing dates are odd and tricky because of translation issues, But the two volume set Between Two Millstones exactly covers the time when he was forced to flee the Soviet Union. He landed first in Frankfurt, then in Zurich and then in New Hampshire within about 14 months of leaving the USSR in 1974. The two memoirs were written as they happened, largely--and they cover from 74 - 98, I think, when he returned to Russia. But they weren't published until very recently. The second volume of memoirs was just released a couple years back in English. I think it is fair to say that while Solzhenitsyn was exiled from the USSR, he never really left. He was involved in publishing, in helping dissidents and actively engaged trying to remedy the situation, as he saw it. He and his wife Alma really worked tirelessly. I highly recommend the memoirs as they are fascinating and cover a lot of ground.

In 1974, Solzhenitsyn was stripped of his Soviet citizenship and flown to West Germany.[8] In 1976, he moved with his family to the United States, where he continued to write. In 1990, shortly before the dissolution of the Soviet Union, his citizenship was restored, and four years later he returned to Russia, where he remained until his death in 2008."

As "a next indicated question" (hat tip, Sage Hana, logician) regarding communism and world revolution, one must be at least slightly curious about Mao's contact with western education(initiation/indoctrination?) and the role of Sidney Rittenberg and pals in the creation of the Chinese Communist Party....to my knowledge, there is no equivalent writer to Mr. Solzhenitsyn (or Mr. Anthony Sutton) chronicling the backstage machinations in *that* mass- slaughter.

Brief Wiki blurb on Mao and "the Yale -China Association":

Listen to what Vince Ellison had to say about Martin Luther King and the Democratic party:

Stephen Gardner update. The interview features Vince Ellison, who argues that the Democratic Party is actively trying to turn America into a Marxist nation. He claims they are evil, supporting things like atheism, Marxism, abortion, open borders, and drug trafficking. Ellison states they have a long history of trying to legally murder Americans, dating back to supporting slavery and later abortion.

Ellison also discusses the history of racism and the Ku Klux Klan, arguing they were connected to the Democratic Party, not the Republicans. He explains how the Democrats have kept black communities poor and under their control.

The discussion touches on replacement theory - the idea that leftists want to get rid of white people by encouraging illegal immigration and abortion. Ellison warns this will lead to violence against white people in the future.

Ellison is critical of prominent black preachers and civil rights leaders like Jesse Jackson, claiming they are mostly on the Democratic Party payroll and keep black communities supporting Democrats through false religion and promises.

The interviewer notes Ellison's argument that Democrats strategically divide white and black Christians who should unite based on their faith. Ellison states they have infiltrated black churches and made them arms of the Democratic party.

In total, Ellison portrays the Democratic Party as an evil institution with a history of racism, control, and moral decay that continues to mislead vulnerable communities today. He urges people to wake up to the truth he presents in his various books.

I think MLK was a Christian, and flawed, and seduced by Marxism, and used by internationalists (aka communists) but I also believe he loved freedom.

Expand full comment

What is a 'Christian'?

I'm a former atheist (from the Netherlands, btw) and I never went to 'church', except once when I was a toddler at a nearby Protestant kindergarten and I remember thinking that was very strange.

I'm not going to tell you how I came to believe in God and the Bible and JESUS Christ, because you can find that out through my blogs, but I don't believe that Martin Luther King was saved, so to speak.

How can I be so sure?

Because he did not preach the gospel and that is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

Most preachers and "Christians" don't know that super simple gospel and I didn't know it for a long time until I discovered it in 2015.

Before that I read it but didn't realize that it is really the only true gospel that saves, and it was revealed to Paul through JESUS Christ Himself.

Read it if you have a Bible, otherwise read it here: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+15%3A1-4&version=GNV

If one is truly saved then one can no longer be deceived by Marxism and communism, which by the way was invented by the Jesuits of the Vatican.

By the way, I'm not telling you this so that you have to agree with me.

Research everything yourself.

Everyone has their own journey of discovery, but I'll tell you what I learned.

Hans S -

The phrase "capture and transformation of energy" just came to mind reading your post.

I'm certainly not the first to have mentioned it, but, for some, the allure of communism and marxism are their mimickry and commonality with many of the deep sentiments of Christianity.

I'm sure you, or perhaps several of Celia's readers could contribute discussion and/or links and sources in this regard.

Some consider marxism as "Secular Christianity"...see "Liberation Theology" as an example.

Marx was an atheist, but Marxian analysis is a practical economic tool.

People use it without knowing that they use it.

MLK was a Christian pacifist, trained in Marxian analysis, and very much a populist.

He was on the path to working a lot of things out.

He created an idea, saw many principles from his ideas that found many interested people that could understand.

The problem was making the ideas concrete; then the power struggle began.

I was a JFK conspiracy theorist decades ago; after lengthy discussions with a friend who disagreed, I decided the theory was irrational. Fast forward: 2020 happened, and I've become a conspiracy theorist again, not only about JFK but I'm open to any and all (though most I remain dubious about).

(Unlike all other conspiracy theorists I have encountered, I believe in applying a critical skeptical lens ALSO to the conspiracy theory itself. Not only do all other theorists NOT believe in doing this, they get strangely prickly and even sometimes hostile when I raise questions in their vicinity.)

At any rate, one thing that hit me upon revisiting my thoughts upon the JFK conspiracy: Back in the day (60s into the 70s), all the JFK conspiracy theorists were Leftists (and most were Jews). For Leftists, it's okay to be a conspiracy theorist, as long as the conspirators are Evil White Right Wing Businessmen.

Lone nut with a bolt action rifle and the MAGIC bullet.

The official Warren Commission inquiry into the shooting concluded the following year that Oswald was a lone gunman who fired three shots with a Carcano M91/38 bolt-action rifle in 8.3 seconds.

But when the Italian team test-fired the identical model of gun, they were unable to load and fire three shots in less than 19 seconds - suggesting that a second gunman must have been present in Dealey Plaza, central Dallas, that day....

Expand full comment

Sylvia Meagher pointed out in her seminal book (Accessories After the Fact) that the bolt action was for a left-handed person, and yet Oswald was right-handed. That seems like an odd oversight for a Dastardly Cabal planting a gun in a sniper's nest to incriminate him (Meagher like all conspiracy theorists other than myself failed to notice the oddity).

Expand full comment

Why on earth would she make the observations it was a left handed gun, if not to point out that difference ofOswald being right handed, just to say it was?

Expand full comment

Meagher was very meticulous about all the details.

Another faulty logic I noticed from her: In discussing the evident fact that most of the people around the grassy knoll began running towards grassy knoll after the shots rang out, Meagher opines/speculates they must have heard the shots coming from the grassy knoll. Did she even stop to think about it before writing this? Ordinary people who are not law enforcement and are not extra-ordinary heroes don't run TOWARD where some hidden person (or persons) shooting -- they would naturally try to run AWAY from it.

I agree. It is well worth watching.

This documentary on the history of debt-based currency controlled by central banks is also really good. It shows how far the bankers will go to keep control of the money supply. They keep people poor and under control, while they get rich. It illustrates Jesus' teaching that the love of money is the root of evil, and why Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple. The Wizard of Oz was originally a book about gold and silver currencies. In the book, Dorothy's slippers are silver, not ruby.

I think Napoleon worked for them and then maybe turned on them:
