They couldn't broadcast his remarks, because he was telling the truth about the law. I was surprised how much detail he now knows about this issue. If they had showed his remarks, he'd have the whole world looking up "Bill Clinton's sock drawer" and learning that Trump is right--he has the undisputed right to do any damn thing he wants with any docs he took from the WH, thanks to a decision by Amy Berman Jackson (a favorite Democrat judge) a decade ago. Until Google can bury every intelligent article on that case & decision, the media can't possibly reference it.

THE ONLY SENSIBLE THING TO DO IS CUT OFF ALL THE CABLE NEWS SHOWS. THEY ARE NO LONGER DOING JOURNALISM. AND THEY HAVE SHOWN THEMSELVES TO BE BEYOND REFORM. FIND NEWS FROM INDEPENDENT SOURCES, AND EVEN THEN READ CAREFULLY FOR SOURCES AND CITATIONS. GOOD REPORTING WILL BE OBVIOUS, AND SYCOPHANTS AND PROPAGANDISTS WILL ALSO BE OBVIOUS.

I don't have a TV and NEVER watch them. I'm just reporting on their sick talking points today. They're utterly dangerous and detestable and all normal Americans loathe them.

I haven’t had TV in over thirty years.

I haven't had a TV since 1972. I do not miss it.

The scary thing is that they know Americans loathe them, their LGBTQ child sacrifice agenda, their unequal treatment of Trump under the law, etc. and they don't care. It shows that they think/know they have everything under control and nothing we do or say even matters.

I haven’t owned a television in 20 years.

The “average” American is lazy. They have to be spoon fed information. Even if their life, literally, depends on it.

I’m actually disgusted with America right now. I never thought I’d say that in 59 years.

I gave up cable again at least 8 months ago and had given it up when the COVID crisis started.

Already the case in my home. However, there are so many who still watch and believe all they see on tv...

I feel the same way, Celia. These could be the darkest days in the history of our country and this account makes it even darker. Unfortunately, many sheep in this country will believe and accept and that it is the saddest thing of all. COVID brought to light how many people are just willing to accept a narrative without question - as long as it fits their current ideological imagery.

I'd always been impressed by the incisiveness of the few commentaries of Tucker Carlson I'd seen. In the video linked to, he hits it out of the park as one of the few "mainstream" voices willing to speak truth to power. That's exactly why they're going after him (Fox is suing for breach of contract.)

Agree, it was excellent.

Yes. Rupert bent over and paid 3/4 of a BILLION dollars to Dominion in a "defamation" suit, because "poor Dominion" was butt-hurt being a government contractor whose reputation was damaged, rather than provide FACTS about their questionable election integrity. Now Fox is doing exactly what "Chucky Cheese" Schumer ordered them to do and silence Tucker Carlson.

Silencing Tucker didn’t work. Instead, they lost millions of viewers.

Jake had a few hissy fits tonite. Said Trump was turning serious crimes into a campaign op and he wasn’t going to cover it...”somebody took my lollipop” 😩

Your quick article is amazing. I sent it out to about 10 people on my contact list. People are totally unaware about what is happening. Though my daughter said a couple years ago, "It is not that people don't know, it is that they don't care". Well, they better start caring because these Left wing lunatics are driving this country into the ground. By the way, that "Twitter" reference with Tucker Carlson is a bulls eye! Not only that, never could ever get behind Pompeo. Now I know why...snakes!!!

Listening to Maddow & Tapper I am called to say...what lame, POS ‘disseminators of The News’ they are.

But they never spew out lies and misinformation that “might harmful to the American people”, do they?

The whole mess is such an OBVIOUS scam; the DemonRats are out of control. There has to be some way to call their bluff. What they're doing isn't even remotely justified, legal, or constitutional.

There needs to be some kind of emergency council to put a stop to this.

Made up of, maybe, the Republicans? The assholes who are right on board with this whole mess?

Right; I was thinking in terms of a grassroots populist uprising with no party affiliation.

Three years of the lead prevaricator giddy with her own crafting of her daily fables about Trump-Russia actually stating this. The gall of this inhuman creature and all of these cohorts. I admit it, along with the obvious criminals who helped perpetrate the scamdemic, I truly wish dire events to strike these people.

Interesting how many in this thread say 'Haven't had a TV in X amount of years..." Same here. And because we haven't outsourced our thinking to the talking heads (put there by the powers that be) pushed as the 'authorities' who claim only they can be trusted to do proper analysis for their viewers (To the point of telling them, 'Doing your own research is dangerous!",) we alone remain the critical thinkers.

All our lives, we've been taught that we'd be taken care of, that the system has grown a bit unwieldy, but is basically good and still working. Now we know for certain it isn't true. There is a time and a place for the parasympathetic response: ask any opossum survivor. And largely, our deep response to disheartening news like the above is automatic and beyond our control, at least for a while. But it's not the end of the story. We ate not isolated. We are not alone. We are not weak. At least, we don't have to be.

I agree 100%. Thanks for the links. I'm adding this to my FB post for all the good that will do in the face of shadowbanning. Never in a million years did I think I would be following Tucker Carlson on Twitter. But then, never in a million years did I think that the people I once considered my real life friends would be cheerleading for everything I despise: the Democrats, medical tyranny, the intelligence agencies, and on and on. There's nothing about Donald Trump I like--except for his calling out the deep state, fake news, and the obscene war in Iraq--but I defend his right to be treated fairly instead of being railroaded by a corrupt neocon establishment. This is the weirdest time I've ever lived through in my entire life. Oh, and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend this:

This whole thing looks very strongly like a completely staged show. Let the show go on and you all watch while they burn it all down from behind the stage.
