I now see, based on this, that a lot of our problems stem from giving twenty-somethings too much power. They run (ran) companies like Facebook and Twitter. Back in the day, people had to put in their time and work their way up the ladder and by that time they were not in their twenties any longer.
On the subject of Musk, in this interview of Whitney Webb she talks about Musk and what he’s said his plans are for Twitter and why he ultimately isn’t one of the good guys. The part about musk is deep into the interview and I don’t have time to find a time marker for it, but the whole interview is excellent. I can’t vouch for the interviewers creds- it’s the first time I’ve ever listened to him, but Whitney is sharp as a tack.
The past participle of "wake' is "woken".
"Woke" is the preterite.
Calling oneself "woke" is bad grammar.
Being aware or "hip" is being "woken" or "awoken".
Being "woke" is being illiterate and stupid.
Well, that pretty much describes them doesn't it? "Illiterate and stupid."
Outstanding! Look for misuse of their, there, and they're in their pronouns.
I used to, but any more. So sick and tired of having to correct auto miscorrect multiple times to have these used correctly.
Another... can’t make this stuff up! 🤣
Twitter and tweeting just sound too soyish to me. Never used the Twitter.
I always thought that a "tweet" was a sound emitted by an animal with the brain the size of a pea.
Yes, strictly for the birds, but let us not forget the Platonic definition of man: A creature with two legs, featherless.
Huh! It was "Perch Closet" in my e-mail. Here I was thinking it had something to do with a fish tank?
Ditto.

Maybe we should get t-shirts that say, "Wake Up!"
Go deeper.
