I agree! And would like to add that your observation that Biden’s lack of authenticity (“he speaks from no corresponding inner person—no true ideas or ideals”) resonated with me. I find this to be a fundamental widespread problem among leaders. There is no depth or foregrounding principle just political maneuvering. The social engineering is administered with a paternalism that implies that people are stupid idiots. I also have a good friend from Sweden. She has resented being talked down to as though she were a child. That said, Biden’s senility and/or linguistic incapacity is beyond alarming; arguably worse than Bush and Reagan.
They have long referred to the masses as "the dead." I think they feel their decades of social engineering have been so successful they don't even have to pretend anymore.

I watched the first Mearsheimer video; but, haven't the time yet to watch the second with Mearsheimer and McGovern. Surprised in the first video that Mearsheimer didn't mention the U.S. instigated coup in 2014 when Obama/Biden contributed $5 billion to that endeavor which resulted in many deaths of eastern Ukrainians. Also surprised that Mearsheimer believed no Ukrainians would ever advocate for a divided Ukraine.
Just a note that John McCain and Lindsey Graham were subsequently involved in this mess...supplying weapons to the western Ukrainian Nazi terrorists to use against the eastern Ukrainians. Run a search for (McCain, Graham, Kiev, Ukraine) which will results in lots of hits.

I agree with your article, the speech, Biden and Trump. Trump was at least entertaining and when he went off script, he spoke from his heart. One thing I learned about Trump, was to read the transcript. I couldn’t depend on the media to give an honest POV and I couldn’t depend on them to stay on message.

I'd stopped in December, when Sweden put in vaccine passports for movie theaters and large public gatherings; it was just too depressing to hear the stupidity (even filtered through my weak Swedish), which took the fun out of learning some Swedish.
