Rafa is a real world event. The DNC is a Potemkin world event.

Focusing on the kitty cat is best for now.

Visualising Rafa better - thanking Arch Angel Rafael (patron saint of healing) for healing Rafa - just like Jesus says - pray as if what you seek is already granted. With love xxxxxx

Oh he is adorable!! I will pray! I know exactly what you mean about the vets here ( USA). It has turned into a cabal like for the humans! I dread having to go and avoid them if I can. The horrible rabies vax is due this year and I do not know a single vet that will titer test to check to see if they have enough antibodies ( so you could just skip it). It costs $300 and I am willing to pay in order to maybe avoid the shot. I am praying for you and your precious kitties! Maybe this crappy show will be over soon!

Expand full comment

The rabies shot is required in California. My solution was to avoid the vets.

I think the vets have a reporting requirement, so they are breaking the law by letting your pet avoid the shot.

Expand full comment

Yes you are right. It is required but some states / vets will do a tiger test. My vet flat out refuses to! If you know Peggy Hall - The Great American - on YouTube , she vdid a deep dive into rabies and the consequences of the vax. I highly recommend to watch her. So, my dilemma is do I want to endanger my baby or comply? Sound familiar?

There is a homeopathic version of cat vaccines, I cannot remember the name. It is a liquid given by mouth, no injection. But it will not get you off the rabies shot required by states. There may be a homeopathic that can be given to offset the hazard of the rabies shot. I've been away from this for over 20 years, and my memory is rusty - and I'm sure things have changed.

One thing I recall about cat vaccines: Cat breeders learned that when a kitten is given a 3-in-1 or any multiple vax, the kitten often dies.

I will certainly look for it! We All have to be vets and doctors now

You'll probably receive a good deal of suggestions, Celia, but what always works for my 19 year old cat when it comes to stomach issues is plain old canned pumkin.

It settles their stomach.

Who knew.

Good luck. Wish I had a magic cure for Rafa. Just prayer.

Expand full comment

Judith, I agree. I add a tsp of pumpkin to raw chicken or turkey sliders 2/day. My cat is 18 years old. I’ve been doing it for years. My friend who is a retired vet recommended electrolyte water recently due to her age and poor kidney function. She also informed me that the corporations are buying all the independent veterinarian businesses.

That reminds me. Be careful about the cat's drinking water. Avoid water with chlorine and RoundUp.

I pray this precious baby is healed: here and now.

I sympathize,Celia. All creatures are precious but only human beings are eternal. Yesterday at the DNC 25 human babies lost their lives. Pray for their mothers to turn to the Lord.

Expand full comment

I'm just curious -- where is it written, how do you know that only humans are eternal?

Expand full comment

In Genesis 1:26, the Bible says, "And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Expand full comment

That quote does not suggest that only humans are eternal. Anyone who has had relationships with animals knows that they have souls equal, if not purer, than humans.

Expand full comment

Exactly.

Expand full comment

You were wondering (Sheila) It's not a quote.(Frances) God said it. Personally, I have always felt that God gave us animals (my wonderful dogs, in particular) to show us how to treat each other....how to forgive, obey, go with the flow....I love my dogs. They certainly have more intuition than most humans. Have you watched a Mother Robin with her babies lately?

Expand full comment

?? Are you aware that the Bible was written by human beings? Just thought I would mention that.

No wonder it is all twisted !!!! Keeps the cattle in straitjacket !!!!

It's still a quote, even if God himself said it - which might be why you put quotation marks around it.

Incidentally, I concur that it's complete rot to believe that animals don't have eternal souls. You yourself may have been an animal in previous lives and there's a fair chunk of evidence to this effect from NDEs and past life regressions (which also contain numerous accounts of people meeting their pets when they die).

Also incidentally, I don't see where in that passage God confers eternal life on humans but denies it to animals. And there are two creation stories in Genesis, both of which are very derivative of other, more ancient accounts.

Wait. Were they doing abortions in a booth at the DNC? I'm not even kidding that I don't think this is out of the realm of possibility. How did 25 human babies lose their lives?

Expand full comment

Planned Parenthood had a bus offering free vasectomy and chemical abortions outside the convention arena. There were so many who wanted to take advantage of these "services" that they have a waiting list.

Expand full comment

How did that happen? Does Planned Parenthood have a clinic outside the convention center?

Expand full comment

Yes:(. They have a bus.

They…can’t write about them. They took it farther than the abortion bus—‘nuf said.

I want what they have done to continue shock me because it prompts me to pray rather than complain.

I had a feral that I had spayed and given shots as a baby. She chose to live a feral life but came to me in her declining years (not even really that old). The vet who examined her missed an abscess inside her mouth. She presented by losing control of first one back leg and then the other. She died in spite of everything I did to help her. When I had wrapped her to bury the next day, some foul smelling liquid came out of her mouth. The vet had missed the abscess altogether and it had created sepsis. She may have died anyway, but she would not have suffered as much had the vet given her doses of antibiotics. I am not an antibiotic fan, but in some cases they are necessary. I hope Rafa makes it or at least doesn't suffer too much.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your dear little one. What about starting a fund account (ie buy me a kofi) that we could pitch into; you'd probably get the needed funds in ten minutes!

I just remembered one of my dogs' sudden inactivity after playing hard. We suspected a back injury. I can't recall what we did - probably got an anti-inflammatory from the vet. Let's hope it's something along those lines.

Thank you for this story. Made me cry.

I have spe t.mist of this year at the local children's hospital where my grandson has been undergoing treatment for a rare illness which came on suddenly and without warning. He was the healthiest kid I'd ever known until Jan. While at the hospital in July, I found a kitten running in the parking garage. About 4 weeks old. Scared, tired and hungry. I took him home. Thought of it as a good sign.

He had fleas and I gave him a bath and treated him with coconut oil. We will not take him to American vet. My grandson named him Petey, and he is a bundle of energy (don't know when he sleeps!). He is always anxious about his next plate of food. Wishing you the best with your two kitties. Thanks for a wonderful post. Grandson is back in the hospital again (admitted two days ago), and we are anxious and scared as well.

Hi Lynn, have you had your grandson tested for heavy metals? Specifically mercury, aluminum, other heavy metals that he might have gotten from childhood vaccines.

One thing to look into is detoxing and chelation of heavy metals, PFAS, plastics, toxins, etc. The childhood vaccine schedule is loaded with unknown toxins.

Look into repairing and restoring his microbiome and reducing exposure to EMFs at home.

My grandson's body is as pure as the day he was conceived. I believe this ailment is a result of shedding of The Death jab booster by people who hugged him. All roads lead to this for me.

This post had me in tears. I feel your pain, I know just how much we can love our little animals., and how they become such a big part of our lives, we do feel we are their mothers. I took two beautiful little black and white kittens into my home two years ago. They were tiny, playful, loving and very naughty - but I was their mum, the one they came to when they needed anything and I loved them dearly. One male Lexi, one female, Luna. But Luna was the one that needed me the most, followed me round, sat with me while I was working climbed onto my shoulder for a cuddle, gentle little Luna. Lexi was similar but just to a lesser extent. On Christmas Day last year, Luna went out in the morning and didn't return home. I had a bad case of flu, which was to last three weeks, I dragged myself out of my sick bed to look for her with my sons, to no avail. I kept willing her to fly through the catflap like she used to, but nothing! I was devastated. I have done everything possible to find her, but never have. We live rurally and quite honestly, she could be anywhere. I have leafleted, knocked on doors, posted on social media - still no Luna. It's now eight months since she disppeared and I have missed her every single day. Lexi, bless him, has become more loving and affectionate as he's now the only cat and I must admit he was pushed out of the way a bit by his sister. I have now become super protective with him, out looking for him if he's gone more than a coupleof hours, I'm just so grateful I still have him. Whether I'll ever see Luna again, I don't know, I keep living in hope. So I am thinking of you, Celia, hoping and praying for your beautiful little Rafa, please keep us informed of his progress. I sincerely hope all will be well for you and he and Alexander grow and thrive. I would add, never use commercial cat food, it's full of rubbish and I have no doubt is the cause of most feline illnesses. xx

Oh Jane, this really showed up as a pain in my heart for you. I would so love to place Luna back in your arms. I am so very sorry. The only thing I can think to say is that MAYBE another family took her in? That's the comforting thought. And also, it does happen. But it's still just am empty, windy void in your heart, I know. This is the gamble of freedom, of outdoor cats. I always took the risk with Jack and Lewis and more times than I can tell you, especially Lewis gave us many scares, in CT, in Sweden (where we lived on an island in 2016) and in upstate NY. I know that feeling so very well. Once he was gone for 1.5 days the very first time he got out, at my sister's upstate, when he was not even an outdoor cat at all, zero, just an NYC indoor cat. Jack pushed out a screen and let Lewis out! I was destroyed.

He re-appeared around 4 am the next morning. And I told God I would never complain after that, but I broke my promise.

Now in Granada, I let Lewis go up across the rooftops, and it makes me nervous but I let him. Luna may come home some day, I will keep this in my prayers.

Do you ever think of keeping Lexi indoors or is that just too awful for him? I think outdoor cat-hood is a gift owners give their cats. Others think it's simply better to keep them indoors. I know George Jacobs, out friend, who is here, has a cat named Kitty Bumps whose outdoor life it would be unthinkable to curtail. And George has spent a small fortune taking KB to the hospital, getting him stitched back together after major turn brawls. KB's main enemy was finally transported to another place part of Hudson Valley, ending the turf war in KB's favor.

Thank you, Celia. I appreciate your words and your kindness. Like you, I've had a few cats over the years and they have always been outdoor cats, I would not want deprive them of their natural environment. Living rurally, as I do, there are no busy roads or other such dangers, just fields and trees, which they love. But, yes, there is always the risk of them wandering off and Luna was (and I hope, still is) a hunter, I agree with George and Kitty Bumps, but it's a risk you take in order to be fair to your beloved pets. Let's hope for the best and that our dreams come to fruition. xx

Yes, commercial cat food is full of rubbish. And from what I understand vet vaccines are causing a lot of animal illnesses. Over the last few years I remember reading too that some otherwise healthy zoo animals were dying right after their Covid jabs.
