He also predicted that the president who would finally turn things around would get elected by a coalition made up of the "children of Trump voters" (Millennials) and African Americans. I remember at the time thinking how on earth is that possible, but when RFK Jr. comes along, it kind of seems plausible. Interestingly, Friedman also argued that the next economic cycle would be driven my biomedicine -- the need to treat all those aging but wealthy baby boomers. But perhaps that is only possible with a root and branch reform of oppressive Pharma so that people can actually begin to trust it again.
I don't know enough about that. Just thinking out loud - but it seems to me that people like Musk and Joe Rogan have enormous reach among a generation of young people who feel left behind and alienated by the liberal establishment but don't buy into the Religious Right / conservative vision on offer as an alternative. They are looking for something else. That is a huge swathe of potential voters. Also, Musk's recent appeal for AI to be regulated is not totally out of tune with RFK Jr., who wants regulation to work for not against the American people. When I say scripted I mean that this speech and much of what I've heard in my life either in real time or in videos from name-your-Kennedy has always come across as designed to elicit certain reactions (ie, manipulative) (I will grant you it is the same the world over with politicians). Everything - each careful word, each nuance, the body language - is designed to elicit specific responses. Neuro-linguistic programming is part of this (Obama used it to perfection) and I see it at play with RFK Jr's 2 hour long speech. Lengthy substack comment sections like this one, believe me, are being pored over by his team to see just how well that speech played and how correct were their predictions. That whole speech was VERY carefully scripted to evoke the exact sort of positive reaction I'm seeing here; most notably for me is the glaring absence of critical thinking about not only what was said but what wasn't said. That speech was specifically designed to overwhelm with emotion and hope. Do you not think that within the span of TWO HOURS the man could have touched on some of the more important issues we are facing? But he didn't, and there's a reason for that. Can't sully the hope after so much effort was put into creating it.

Lengthy substack comment sections like this one, believe me, are being pored over by his team to see just how well that speech played and how correct were their predictions. That whole speech was VERY carefully scripted to evoke the exact sort of positive reaction I'm seeing here; most notably for me is the glaring absence of critical thinking about not only what was said but what wasn't said. That speech was specifically designed to overwhelm with emotion and hope. Do you not think that within the span of TWO HOURS the man could have touched on some of the more important issues we are facing? But he didn't, and there's a reason for that. Can't sully the hope after so much effort was put into creating it.

This whole RFK thing has taken on the feel of a cult of personality. It seems that his anti-vax stance is all people need to know ....and that he 'talks a good talk'. Didn't we find out how that sort of blind adoration turned out with Obama? I wish people would look deeper into who this man REALLY is. He gave full throated support for Al Gore's presidential run and the same for Obama's. He's a "Kennedy democrat" ...? Right, but what does that really mean? Have people forgotten about Ted Kennedy, the "lion of the Senate" and what he stood for? The damage he did for decades? Or ole Joe Kennedy, RFK's grandfather, who was a staunch eugenicist? This man has a public face that he has honed very well (I can attribute that to the whole "Kennedy democrat" thing, as that is one thing the Kennedy's have always been very good at.) Think critically, folks, and do your due diligence in vetting this man, and don't allow yourself to be fooled one more time by a slick talking Democrat. He could have chosen to run as an Independent but he didn't, and that says a lot. For that matter, he could have thrown his hat in as a Republican but he didn't do that either. There's no such thing as a "Kennedy democrat", and democrats have been slowly killing this country and strangling the middle class for decades. "Never met a tax they didn't like."
He is anti 2A, he is anti drilling/fossil fuel and he has lived among and is of the elite class. His anti-vax stance is great but ....what else does he stand for and what would your life look like under a Kennedy administration? It seems no one is asking those questions. The Kennedy dynasty's time has passed; there is no way this man would get my vote.

Though RFK Jr. does call out the pre-planning with Event 201 and others, he continues to endorse the fraud that there was a pandemic, and he does not call out the bogus PCR test, which was responsible for the entire fraud, including the fraudulent case numbers, the fraudulent death count, etc. And RFK Jr also endorses the Orwellian notion of people who are asymptomatic (i.e. healthy) but test positive on the bogus covid test should be given early treatment–but how do you treat “no symptoms”? Very very disheartening reading this entire thread. It's clear that very few have done enough research to know what the man truly stands for yet b/c he gave a feel good speech people seem to be jumping in with both feet. You know what he did? ....he gave hope, which is very very easy to give and swallowed easily also, but when the rubber hits the road hope has to be replaced with actual policy, action, and leadership. So far I've seen very little of anything other than leading an anti-vax movement, which is not a great qualification for the office of POTUS. None of us has any idea what his policy positions are wrt to many important issues. Even more worrisome is that nothing I am reading here indicates any interest beyond "hope".
He actually does not "call out" Event 201. He frames it as a legitimate pandemic preparation exercise but with flawed ethics which led to a lack of respect for democracy and human rights in the pandemic response.
The ultimate game seems clear. The RFK Jr campaign is not really a presidential effort but a Psy Op to reframe the obviously planned genocide on multiple levels (jabs, hospital protocols, Remdesivir), the grab for global communist control, and nonexistent pandemic as a real pandemic, with a real virus, but poor execution by the government with an emphasis on the need to do better next time.
