Via Kim Carlson on FB:

"If you can't say what you think, you're a slave."

–Tucker Carlson

"Being inflexible is one of the worst human characteristics. Being flexible allows you to grow."

–Clayton Morris

Tucker Carlson admits that "the most important experience in the life of a man is humiliation and failure. I was not only wrong about Iraq, I was so wrong that I was humiliated by it." He not only supported the war but attacked those who didn't as unpatriotic and admittedly used the lowest propaganda techniques in smearing those who disagreed with him. He went to Iraq right after the invasion and his life changed forever. And the reason it changed was because he realized how wrong he was. He made the public admission in December of 2003 in a NY Times interview. He was rebuked by a former colleague who thought his criticizing the Iraq war was disgraceful, but he decided that not only could he no longer lie, but that he could not disavow the fact that he *had* lied. He made a break with his old life regardless of the consequences. "The beginning of all wisdom is admitting how screwed up you are," he told Clayton Morris. "If you start there, you're much more likely to end up with the truth." Also, being open-minded, letting the evidence guide your perception. Amen, Tucker.

Carlson is going to jump on another platform and continue as an independent journalist - he's got a voice and millions of followers/supporters.

Fox trying to enforce any gag order will merely speak to their cowardice and lack of ethicality and undermine their credibility even further.

Carlson isn't going to speak about Fox - he has news to report - their story is just sad, tired, rhetorical bullshit.

Let's see what pans out - I can see him on substack

Identify high traffic interesection, build a McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's and Taco Bell on each corner, becomes a destination for eats. Forgetting for purposes of this comparison how crappy those food offerings are. But highlights instances where competition becomes a benefit for all. Makes it a destination for alternative news and analysis.

Or, as someone else commented, he may have an NDS on him for the financial bailout he gets. He probably loves his family and will sign, if so.

I guess we may find out what the truth is coming up.

the NY TIMES daily told we while I was up in Boston why he’s down on RFK Jr. It’s because of everything the Times and NPR say. They are the torchbearers of Truth, political correctness and of course Trump Derangement Syndrome. How dare Bobby say we need to improve election integrity! What gall that he wants vaccines safety standards improved. And how awful that some in the Kennedy family disagree with him.

This is a very strange time we are living in. The age of Fear, Arrogance and Ignorance Is upon us.

Oh and a PS: I had a former liberal ‘Friend’, who grew up in Watertown, MA, but has been a resident of CA for almost 40 years. She was an avid Democrat and supporter of the Kennedys, being from Boston and all.

At the beginning of Covid in 2020, I sent her a few pieces and interviews from CHD and RFK Jr. about Covid, childhood vaxxines, the Covid vaxx, election integrity, etc. Her replies to me were just like your brother’s thinking. Needless to say after a 30+ year ‘friendship’ I cut the cord with her back in mid 2020!

I also had a friend who, as a lifelong democrat, would not look at anything I sent her about RFKJr. Said he's a cheater (marital) and the Black Sheep of his extended family who had distanced themselves from him. But this friend is always always always on top of and follows trends latest products, latest ingredients, fashions, etc.) so I'm not surprised she fell for the trendy illness fear. Wore masks in her FB photos with a Thumbs Up. Hoarded masks and N95s. I put our friendship on hiatus in October of 2020 because I had to redirect some many conversations (it's all she talked about) and was getting nothing out of the relationship. Three years later, I do not regret my actions. That makes me sad...

This article about repression against journalists from Sunday's EL PAÍS mentions the WALL STREET JOURNAL's Evan Gershkovich as a victim of censorship in Moscow. It also alludes to censorship in Nicaragua, North Korea, and China.

The is no mention of Spanish journalist, Pablo González, currently detained in Poland.

There's not a word about Julian Assange, Matt Taibbi, RT, or intimidation of journalists in the US, the UK, or Canada.

I doubt that there will be anything in tomorrow's EL PAÍS about Tucker.

Domestic propaganda legalized in 2013. Bipartisan.

https://foreignpolicy.com/2013/07/14/u-s-repeals-propaganda-ban-spreads-government-made-news-to-americans/

Fox, all legacy media is government controlled propaganda. If you only get info from "Trusted Sources" you're out of step with the majority of Americans. Tucker goes to alternative media now. And brings along an enormous following with him - where he gets to fully speak freely. Worst move ever by this regime, they may have power, but they don't have smarts. Letting the biggest voice in controlled opposition become uncontrolled!

This is a blessing. I've wanted Tucker (and any TRUE American) to leave Fox since 2020, his presence gave credibility to an untrustworthy media source, kept too many people tuning in to that controlled opposition propaganda source who oppose D's and leftism believing they were getting truthful info, the other side of the story in its entirety. Alternative free media is our way out of tyranny rising. Not a controlled outlet to vent opposition out of.

Controlled opposition like Fox acts like a valve on a pressure cooker lid. There to let out steam to keep pot from exploding, controlled release of steam. That's all it's been. Fewer eyeballs and minds will be constrained by that valve. Uncontrolled Tucker out helps. That pot needs to explode, the shrapnel needs to take out the evil regime that's been cooking us for too long. GREAT news!!!

Perhaps I am wrong. Maybe it was because he called out Pharma propped up networks.

Kennedy just tweeted this:

"Robert F. Kennedy Jr

@RobertKennedyJr

Fox fires @TuckerCarlson five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers. Carlson’s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TV’s two biggest rules: Tucker told the truth about how greedy Pharma advertisers controlled TV news content and he lambasted obsequious newscasters for promoting jabs they knew to be lethal and worthless. For many years, Tucker has had the nation's biggest audience averaging 3.5 million — 10 times the size of CNN. Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of Big Pharma."

News Corp (FOX) has lost a BILLION in market cap today. It could not have been about Tucker's salary in that case.
