I live 2 hours or so from Buffalo, and was interested in the world's fair that was held there. Some of the original buildings remain. A four decade librarian confirmed as much to me and just yesterday a gallery owner agreed also. See photos of old castle on site of Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard. Removed some things, slapped a new building up next to it and none of the stories about it add up. They will throw a little Hollywood in sometimes. Turrets once had smaller turrets in them.

I am leaning towards the idea that they are a Roman build during the time that the capital of Rome was Constantine’s in Istanbul. Solid Roman construction, but with a Turkish influence. Possibly around the time that Rome was driven out of Turkey in the mid 1400’s. We have to look at the measurements and the Roman arches are a dead giveaway! Cheers!
