Celia, no matter what essay you produce, you repeatedly prove you are a national treasure to those of us who are awakened and can see and hear...

Thank you young lady, please don't slow down or quit.

Shalom Aleichem.

I had a conversation with my Belarus friend who spoke in the same hysterical terms that I suddenly recognized were hallmarks of the Trump Derangement Syndrome -- only now she and the Western media and pro-West forces have succombed to PUTIN DERANGEMENT SYNDROME wherein all manner of evil is attributed to these two men and clouds rational thinking.

Disclosure -- I never voted for Trump and I'm not partial to Putin, a WEF alumnus. My comment is not an endorsement of either man but rather an observation of how unhinged and propaganda-driven 90% of mass media and social media behave.

Everybody crying over civilian deaths in the Ukraine from the invasion. Nobody cares when America does the same thing bombing the Middle East. The insane psychos running the world still haven't figured out that wars are useless and civilians are always going to be "collateral damage" because they care nothing about life other than their own. 10,000 years of war and destruction has changed nothing. Maybe this time with more money, the left will get it right...that's what they want us to believe.

“People should understand it, including Americans, who were ready to go to war over Cuban missile crisis.”

Relatively few people even know about the missile crisis. And the generations that are fascinated by their vacuous pantheon of “celebrities”, engrossed in their pursuit of the next trinket, and absorbed in narcissism are ill-equipped to grasp its lessons. Prosperity and lives of material ease can, in the immature, have consequences that are intellectually and spiritually fatal. And that ultimately ends in the collapse of civilization.

One of the objectives of communism is to destroy the culture in part by erasing history. They have largely succeeded. But it wasn’t much of a struggle; the spirituality bereft were easy pickings.

Anyway, rant aside, I hear Golstein’s message — he makes sense. This war is stupid and tragically needless.

Celia, I think this line from Vladimir’s post should give you pause: “Cooperation everywhere -- from climate to future pandemics -- in shambles.” He makes it sound like a bad thing. I, for one, *want* cooperation to be in shambles for *both* of these canards!

These Russophobes accuse Putin of their own machinations, which is both disinformation and psychological projection. Soros has almost certainly had Russia as his ultimate target for color revolution in the 1990s. Military takeover is unnecessary in the 21st Century. Moreover, any observer of the collapse of the USSR knows that the Two + Four nations who negotiated the terms of the new order in the former Warsaw Pact and in former Soviet republics knows of the total obsession of those nations with NATO expansion after Nov. 9, 1989.

It takes very little adult perspective to shine the light of rational thinking and common sense on all this evil, twisted, nonsense that is attempting to take over the human race!

Good points, all; but he's ignoring the most important point: THE MONEY.

Thank you for sharing, Celia. As you probably know, there aren't very many people alive any more who lived through the Cuban missile crisis, and we're saddled with generations of Americans, particularly, who are nearly completely ignorant of history, especially American history. Also, FWIW, the politicians and their appointees are not making decisions; they dance on corporate puppet strings and do what they're paid to do and told to do. This war is nothing more than a continuation of planned events on the road to global totalitarian control, and we've travelled quite a long way on that road already. We're in danger of missing the last exit if we don't find a way to turn around and either go back the way we came or find a different road less traveled.

This "new and improved", us versus them diatribe, our mockingbird media and government are inundating us with is proving one absolute, our education system is in the toilet, and our parents are doing a horrible job teaching their children. . Stop using the Cuban Missile Crisis, the USSR at the time was answering Eisenhower's 6 year deployment of nuclear missiles in Turkey at the time, continually asking us to move them, so in a way, this incident is relevant, but not because of Cuba, but because of Turkey. Also relevant is this is when JFK, sees the reality of what the CIA is doing, but that is a different story for a different time. Now, concerning Russia, 1812, Napolean and France invade Russia, bunch of nice chaps. 1856, England, France Invade Crimea and Russia, because they are a bunch of peace loving chaps. Early 1900s, Mi6 recruits Lenin and Trotsky, who, coincidentally, first meet in London. Taught in the same room by the Mi6 that Lord Urquhart taught Karl Marx how to bring down Russia. This is something no one brings up. Well, that would mean the Mi6 is responsible for Communism? Maybe. Trotsky and Lenin were inserted into Russia right before WW1. WW1 "mysteriously" started by the Serbian black hand(whatever, this is a black op of the Mi6) the Uk and Germany and Russia were run by cousins and the German and Uk cousins wanted Russia brought to heal. Germany is the modern Ukraine at the time. Germany sure gains ALOT of Russian land in WW1, without firing a shot, must be a coincidence. Which would have worked, except for one tough old coot who actually seems to have loved Russia, but he was facing total arseholes in the world, his name was Stalin. WW2, what do you know, ANOTHER World War Germany begins, Germany is less than 50 years old at this point, and they are about to be the nexus of ANOTHER major conflict. Coincidence? Russia takes the MOST causalities and destruction of any ally in WW2, without Russia, Europe is speaking German(not really, because this WW2 was just a plan from the get go). But mysteriously, after WW2, the "allies" treat Russia like it was the one who started both World Wars. We rebuild Germany(half of it anyway) and cowardly France, and imperialistic Japan, and start a 60 year Cold war of us vs them, we good/they bad propaganda against our actual ally in WW2. Well if that is not good ole American respect. loyalty and gratitude, I do not know what is. Now to Putin, when he took over from Yeltsin, a helluva drunk, who did an allright job, the debt to gdp of Russia was in the 200 -300% range. Crazy., within 5 years Putin gets that number down to 11%, what? Uh-huh. Not only that but he gets Russia working and household income goes from 8000 rubles to 28000 rubles, what? Uh-huh. That is AMAZING. Does the US ever say, Hey President Putin, good on you, nice, job, lets work together as allies and cohorts in getting a better life for all of our people. NOPE. Us versus them, we good/they bad. Lets compare, through out history, who has been more aggressive Russia or "the allies". Hmmm, Uk, arseholes, France, arsholes, Spain, arsholes, Italy, arsholes, I could on, I am not sayin it is bad, just what it was, but come on compared to Russia, who pretty much kept to themselves. How many times did the "allies" attack Russia, a bunch. Other way around, nope. Putin is an avid supporter of Christianity, tradition, family values, two genders, went back to the gold standard (this is a big no no and is the real reason "they" will try to assassinate him) got rid of big tech. Putin is a liberator in Ukraine not an invader. Now remember this, all of those goody two shoes, antifa and blm, all the woke idjits that only cara about slavery. Russia is the ONLY superpower that did not use African slaves, but all of those goody two shoes, wont mention that, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine for the win. Putin might be a tough old coot, but I like tough old coots, not panzy cuckled beta males. Putin seems to genuinely love the Russian history and people, more than I can say about any US leader or European leader. I would let Putin babysit my kids, I would NOT let european leaders, NO WAY. Bunch of pedos. Well, we all know slow joe is a pedo. I like Putin. I wish I could say I like MY leader, but I can't. I have never met a Russian person I did not respect or find upstanding. Wish I could say that about MY country.

Whatever happened in the past is a learning process. Putin has invaded several countries for benefit, not humanity. Putin has set the terms/conditions for Ukraine surrender/settlement. And to influence Ukraine to surrender/acceptance Putin increased the murder of Ukraine civilians during settlement meetings. Nothing will stop ego manic driven tyrants, Putin-Xi, even when settlement is reached. How many times have these tyrants exposed their plans for world domination?

And how many times have these tyrants acted to fulfill their plans?

Tyrants settle for half of the cookie today. Next week, half of the same cookie tomorrow. And again unti they eaten the whole cookie.

Tyrants-Tyranny is stopped by showing force and more when required. Otherwise, you have to worry everyday.

Really surprised how successful the Ukraine has resisted the Russian assault. How long before Putin releases the "dogs from hell" on the Ukraine to totally destroy it? Putin has to force the Ukraine to surrender, accept his terms, or face humiliation. That is what is creating increased destruction and deaths by Putin.

Meanwhile, Putin openly threatens anyone who would become militarily involved!!!

The past cannot be changed. How the works responds to tyrants today what the future will look like.

There are no really good answers, but the thing which Putin did not put across was the incredibly valid point about those bioweapons labs, a lot of which were near Russian borders. If you look at the targetting of Russian incursions, before they totally lost the page and started indiscriminate shelling of civilians and refugees, it was at precisely those places where those labs were, it was a pure counterforce strike. And it should have stayed that way. But Putin's government and intel people screwed the pooch, crossed the line and started shooting up civilians. And it's no more acceptable for the Russian government to do that than it is for the US government to do it. The only answer really is to get autocrats out of governments worldwide, dismantle the National Security States, and force the oligarchs wherever they may be found, from Moscow and Kiev to Davos and the US, to give back their ill-gotten gains - and then treat them like the murderers and robbers that they are - the rope merchants might have lots of new sales...
