Even though you’ve been battling for truth for such a long time, you’re still a tender soul. Staying vulnerable after all this time is unusual and surely takes a toll. Your willingness to stay in the fight while sharing the price you pay is why your voice stands out Celia.

I feel ya, sister! More dream marble.

Archaic Torso of Apollo

Rainer Maria Rilke

1875 –1926

We cannot know his legendary head

with eyes like ripening fruit. And yet his torso

is still suffused with brilliance from inside,

like a lamp, in which his gaze, now turned to low,

gleams in all its power. Otherwise

the curved breast could not dazzle you so, nor could

a smile run through the placid hips and thighs

to that dark center where procreation flared.

Otherwise this stone would seem defaced

beneath the translucent cascade of the shoulders

and would not glisten like a wild beast's fur:

would not, from all the borders of itself,

burst like a star: for here there is no place

that does not see you. You must change your life.

Thank you, deeply, for offering Rilke's architecture of the Word.

Rilke - to me - is the essence of literary pursuit. Not the description of “the thing” but “the thing” itself. The Master. To anyone stalking the comments of our lovely Celia I strongly suggest you explore Rilke.

What a pretty place! Hang in there, Celia. There are a lot of crazies out there, but also many who are starting to question the false narratives.

If there weren't people as you, not fighting but living every moment with purpose, this world would disappear to me. You move and inspire us. Literally and visually. Thank you

maybe i shouldn't say "western" since alhambra is arabic

i wish people wouldn't let muskrat rebrand twitter as "X"

X was a great 80s rock band. they deserve to keep the name https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAK5gsUcMIY

Hiking and taking photos are the best ways to return to one's center where the riff raff can never touch you. Standing up to powerful deceivers is the most courageous thing one can do in life, if that's any consolation.

Very nice. I think early morning and night time lightening makes for better pictures. I usually miss early morning cuz I’m allergic to morning, but some of my best photos have been taken in early evening. And being a photographer for most of my life has helped me to really see what’s around me. I’ve walked at the same place for 15 years, but every day I see something I missed during those years.

Forget X: they are still shadow banning and deplatforming... despite Elon' sayings. Also, against freedom of reach.
