I've always loved this song! Irish folk bands in my Midwest city used to play this back in the 70s 80s. God is great!

Thanks Celia.

I'm English and we used to sing Lord of the Dance at school. I forgot how stirring it is.

P.S. The strange costumes and bells are Morris dancing. It's our traditional English folk dance and it's usually performed at Whitsun.

Dear Ann, I am just like you, trying to use any means possible to keep my own spirit up, and that of others. We all do it, we just don't always realize we are doing it. I'm not compromised, it's true.

We need each other. It's never been more clear. And we are going to come though this.

Thank you for this Celia. You just keep coming up with excellent material. I am so glad that I found you, though I don't remember how or when, but it doesn't really matter because I am connected to you now. God bless you.

Thank you C. That was an incredible choice. Somehow so English to me that it resonates with my childhood. I think your father and my mother would have been likeminded and loved each other as we do. My mother was a bronze medalist grand accordion player and loved this tune. She took me to many choral concerts throughout my life and I’m still drawn to the spirit of the accordion which incites dance! I always loved the Irish and Scottish jigs which she would play for us as children and we would dance around! I miss this part of history but I’m so pleased it had meaning for me. I only wish that my children could get it now but it feels the meaning has been deliberately pushed far from sight. Apologies for being a bit gloomy!
