What a beautiful gift you have posted here for us. Thank You. You are one of the angels, and we who cry, pray and glow with hope by their side are family. Love and Holiday Blessings to You and Mama Ulla.
Thank you for sharing this Celia. I will enjoy this tomorrow - perhaps with a Yule Log and snowy window on the TV. It's presently 12:42am here in NYC, and I know well the landmarks you mentioned (although NYC isn't what it once was - the hip people left long ago).
Thank you so much for posting that! I have always loved The Messiah and learned so much from your piece. I personally enjoy having it playing when I am falling asleep.
I believe! Thank you, Celia. You know, the quality of the comments/commenters here in your growing group says a lot about you. Yours is the one substack I look forward to each day with joy.
There was a time when I used to know another Ulla, young, very pretty, and graceful. Those were the days when I also frequently walked by Handel´s place in Brook Street, with the blue memorial plaque. The past is a foreign country but the presence of guardian angels was felt there, too. Nihil desperandum.
The story of your meeting an angelic being in NYC snapped me out of the funk I've been in, taking me somewhere unrelated to the pandemic. Thank you. I love Bibi's stories too!
I can't thank you enough for this wonderful Christmas gift, Celia. I am now on my second listening. I had listened first before reading your post, and now I am listening and reading the lyrics, and now understand how it came to be. While I have always been uplifted by the Hallelujah chorus, the Amen chorus at the end really got me this time. This piece truly speaks to the soul, which is of the utmost importance right now, as the powers that be try to remove our humanity and separate us from our creator and from being human. Thank you again.
Wouldn't it be lovely if everyone agreed to play this over and over for at least a week? Imagine the power that would generate. What a great way to battle back against the evil ghouls in charge...

That's wonderful to hear Tom. I look forward to it as well, each day, with joy. I feel like I have a big, awesome family.

Thank you David. I was not 100% sure if I should share that story :)
But now I'm glad I did.

I saved this to 'listen later'. Well I guess almost 2 years on is 'later'. Beautiful music and so nice to have the words. Thank you.

You are so very welcome, Vida Galore. Thank you too! All the feedback means so much to me. And nourishes the site and everybody who comes here.

This made me laugh. Thank you. I have always wanted a "Celia clock," which would render me never late. :)
