To all my praying animal lovers- I found a kitten (6-8 wks) that has a horrible wound. The vet can't tell whether it is male or female because it has a hole torn out of the rectum.
Doesn't appear to have a lacerated urethra or colon. Poor baby made it through last night which is a good sign so no internal bleeding. Vet thinks it would be best to leave the wound open because of possible infection from feces. So I'm keeping him/her clean and bottle feeding. Got 2 long lasting shots (antibiotic and anti-inflammatory) I have prayed with friends and would appreciate more prayer for a speedy recovery and no infection. Blessings
