Carol Rutz, in her book "A Nation Betrayed", also details a portion of the MKUltra docs which pertained to her experience as a victim of psychological, biological and chemical experimentation
It stands to reason even from what little the general population knows about CIA experiments that the science of psychological control has likely advanced very far.
But, we don't know about this because it also stands to reason that those who want to use this knowledge would want to keep it secret.
In my view as well as that of others, NPR is a shining example of the psychological operation in action, complete with soothing "in-the-know" voices telling us what to think. The Ministry of Truth in action.
This is partly why I believe we need a parallel legal system based on natural law that states that law must serve human flourishing and prevent abuse of individuals, as opposed to laws crafted to allow for the abuse of individuals and their property or providing cover for such abuse under the rubric of "national security." This parallel legal framework is a move toward making our world sane again.
Were I to teach a community college class in "Evidence 101" I would use this MK Ultra archive as a teaching moment (or series of moments).
"Okay class, what's the first thing we do when we examine a copy of a document -- whether it's a primary source or a secondary source? Anyone?"
"We start reading it?"
"Very funny, Sally. Anyone else have a serious answer? Okay I'll answer for you. The first thing we do is try to establish its publication data. Do you all remember what publication data entails? We went over this last week. Publication data should include:
1) Author(s) -- names, qualifications, institution of work (if any), which includes individuals and/or institutions
2) Publisher info (name, address)
3) The circumstances of the publication -- example, is it public records? conference proceedings? a chapter in a larger edited book? Each of these in turn needs to be documented and verified as well.
When we see screen shots of a publication lke this MK Ultra document which effectively has none of the above mentioned criteria, it raises a red flag and at the very least should disappoint us in our need for juicy nutritious evidence that provides actual sustenance and doesn't just feed our sugar cravings for confirmation bias."
The CIA is still doing MKUltra experiments on citizens illegally and against their will. Including myself less than a year ago. They seem to want to find ways to discredit individuals who might be threats to the establishment. What does that look like, in case you run across it. Something like this:

RESPECTFULLY this is a shallow rabbit hole to waste time, to paraphase the ONE review on page (any whose followed this for a time know all of this and any who hasn't doesn't need to "waste" time on it, because those who DID know did nothing--mostly because they couldn't--and those who DIDN'T know--need to be doing something that reading this won't help.
