An Indian Public Health Historian Has Said The Un-Sayable; I'm Tearing Off A Bandaid And I Know Some If You Will Give Up On Me But I Think He's Correct: Hear Me Out
I feel like I have started something I may not be equipped to handle, it feels like fear. But it's too late now. It was festering for years. Thank you for still being my friends I have not met, I will need all the friends I can get after this post. And I only scratched the surface with the HIV dissident conflicts. And most of my allies are gone. Roberto Giraldo, Kary Mullis, Harvey Bialy, Etienne de Harven, Richard Strohman, David Crowe…the list is long. I've lived longer than my battles would suggest. If I revealed more it would be more trauma, so try to imagine what I have not written.
We were infiltrated by bad actors. It's too late now.
The 1990s attack from within on Peter Duesberg was undoubtedly the product of infiltration.
You can't ever imagine how abusive it got.
Anybody who sows division in wartime is unconsciously working for the devil.
I have to make up for many years of lost time, feeling heartbroken when maybe I was just on a very tough assignment.
I miss Kary, Roberto, Etienne, David, Christine, Harvey...(who I had screaming matches with but healthy ones) and I miss the days before we were split asunder by an accusation. The accusation was that Peter was only half right and the revolution would fail unless he was denounced.
Survive it all only to find that people jump on bandwagon in 2020, cash in, and become purity grifters for a war they never went near at the time. Extremely galling.
And if I find them historically illiterate/disinterested/self-serving, I'm the jerk, since they're saving the world. But for the likes of Peter Duesberg.
When you think about the FACT the virology is a fraud, and that viruses have NEVER been proven to exist outside of "in silico" constructs (and we have the FOIA requests to prove it), it all gets that much more diabolical....it IS a eugenics program.....
Welcome to the Great Separating Out. Of this Freedom Fox stakes out the main divide, that of the distinction between God and Man, and that of God's Law versus Man's Law ... of which much could be said.
One statement which hit me hard comes from R. J. Rushdoony who famously said something like this, 'Toleration is only one intolerance transitioning to another intolerance'. Think of what would not be tolerated in Colonial America and then reflect upon what is tolerated today. And indeed, toleration of everything is then the bridge between the two presuppositional warring worlds.
One thing that also rather struck me is this. Alexander Solzhenitsyn and T. S. Eliot, two of the great men of the twentieth century, both indifferent to God in their early life and both embracing of God in later life. And so it seems that life's journey by evidences seen and gleanings scooped up along the way does indeed bring us to unanticipated destinations.
What algorithmically-driven social media is very good at, is driving wedges between people, in breaking up communities into warring factions neither of whom listen to each other. And then these factions are further split up, until the community exists no longer but is simply a geographical grouping of atomized individuals, each glued to a screen. And this very effectively lays the basis for totalitarianism:
“For totalitarianism to flourish, [Hannah Arendt] posited, two requisite ingredients must coalesce, forming a kind of unholy alliance: Terror and ideology. In order to effectively terrorize a population, Arendt contended, man must first be separated both from his fellow man and from his own, inner self. He must be isolated, cut off from his support networks, both external and internal, outflanked societally and infiltrated mentally. ... The effect of this dual severing, the simultaneous external (from society) and internal (from the mind) dissociation, was to leave the individual utterly, helplessly stranded... and longing desperately for a savior. By way of analogy, we might consider how an abusive spouse employs intimidation and panoptical invigilation to monitor and then suppress his victim’s contact with the outside world, gradually cutting them off from their critical support network of family, friends and colleagues. Once his victim is isolated, the predator can begin the far more intricate undertaking of incessant psychological attack, distorting his victim’s perception of reality, gaslighting them into accepting, even appreciating, their “new normal,” a condition sometimes referred to as Stockholm Syndrome. Having dashed the outside supply lines and emptied his victim of all self-confidence, the abuser is now in a position of absolute power, able to dictate terms and translate reality, to fill his prey with whatever narrative, whatever ideology, best serves his own interests. To dominate them, in other words, totally.” https://hac.bard.edu/amor-mundi/the-atomization-bomb-hannah-arendts-warning-critical-race-ideology-and-the-coming-totalitarian-nightmare-2021
That’s the toxic waste you get a dose of when you play on the swing set, it’s a passive process, one that is below conscious awareness - and the kids don’t know about the poisons which enter their bodies, they feel different from day to day, but the difference is minor, unnoticeable - until they are totally changed. We see unreasonable divisiveness in our society and wonder how people can be so unreasonable - but we have been poisoned - and the only way to have insight into this is to step back from the “swing set” for a month or so, to break the hypnosis. And hardly noticeable stimuli like radio feeds into it, whether National Public Radio or conservative talk radio, so that’s another toxic vector, feeding unreason and divisiveness - pick your side and your favorite confirmation bias... and you don’t do this as a conscious choice, it seems natural and effortless. And all of your friends are doing it, for a while at least, until the algorithm subdivides you further... And stepping back for a month is the only way to see this, to get insight into what is happening.
"Medical sociology may be traced back to the late 1800s in terms of intellectual development. Sociology and allopathic medicine, two embryonic sciences, began to make contact in modest but major ways in the late 19th century." [and the "science" of Eugenics]
Medical Sociology is also tied to Marxist "Conflict Theory":
And Medical Sociology gave rise to an organization, "Association of Internes and Medical Students," that was disbanded and scattered to other medical sociology movements after it was associated with the Red Scare during the McCarthy Anti-Communist hearings:
Valerie Jarrett, long time top advisor to Barack Obama, deemed The other side of Obama's brain," her father was a leading member of AIMS. And a eugenicist:
It's not a left-right, Marxist-Fascist, R-D, Commie-Nazi idea. Obama, Bush family, Rockefeller, Bernays, fascinating list of VIPs at a eugenics play in 1913:

- Edward Bernays, father of modern propaganda, advertising. Both Joseph Goebbels and Madison Avenue, informed by his teachings. Coined the phrase "quack medicine" to discredit natural healers. Successfully.
- Simon and Abraham Flexner. Authors of the "Flexner Report." Used by legislators and congress to criminalize natural healers, put natural healing schools out of business, asserted allopathic (western) medicine as the only real "evidence-based" healing, effectively killing homeopathy, herbalism and naturopathy:
- Rabbi Stephen S Wise. He is an enigma. He was the Jesse Jackson of American Jewry in the first half of the 20th century. A Zionist who's early work to establish a Jewish homeland in the British Palestine Mandate eventually led to the establishment of the State of Israel. He was FDR's most senior Jewish influencer. Did a lot of good for Jews. But...he also was who helped conceal the true horrors of the Holocaust from FDR and the public, and opposed efforts to expose it. I found this Wikipedia write up on him interesting. Particularly the section "Criticism":
And Rabbi Wise was an ardent eugenicist. One of the early faith leaders to advance it. As highlighted in the following book link. It's not to say that Rabbi Wise supported the Holocaust. But it shows how even Jews can co-author their own holocaust with their grandiose ideas about "fixing" mankind:
Preaching Eugenics: Religious Leaders and the American Eugenics Movement
"She specifically documents how Protestant, Jewish, and a limited number of Catholic religious leaders contributed to making American eugenics the foremost eugenics movement in the world by the 1920s and sought the creation of a 'good society" in America by means of those methods that the eugenics movement advocated: sterilization, immigration restriction, incarceration, intelligence testing, and statistical analysis applied to the racial/ethnic/genetic backgrounds of families."
"The American eugenics movement became the model used by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, who turned their zealousness for eugenics as the means of preserving the health of the nation into, first, the murder of the disabled, and, subsequently, the brutalization and murder of millions of innocent men, women, and children in the final solution."
Both Rabbi Leon Harrison of Temple Israel in St. Louis and Rabbi Stephen Wise publicly expressed opposition to intermarriage, but some Reform rabbis objected. The advocates of intermarriage did not view Jews as a race, while the opponents did (pp. 106-7). In 1915, Rabbi Max Reichler (1886-1957) wrote an essay seeking to reconcile the divergent views and reconcile Judaism with eugenics."
"Rabbi Wise subsequently followed Rabbi Reichler s lead in seeking accommodation (pp. 108-9). In the same way that Protestants and some Catholics had come to support eugenics, Jews also came to be numbered among the advocates of the movement in the early twentieth century."
- William J Schieffelin - Descendant of John Jay, first Supreme Court Chief Justice of the US. Family owned the oldest pharmaceutical company in the US, headed up early Big Pharma trade association. Eugenicist:
- Paul U Kellogg - another enigma. He is the father of the modern "Social Justice" movement. And supported eugenics. But it's hard to reconcile with his work to help blacks and other minorities. I suppose someone can be a eugenicist without being a racist. Just get rid of the undesirables, disabled, antisocials without regard to race?:
- Yale University Civics Club. Prescott Bush, father of George HW Bush was a student at Yale in 2013. And had been president of his high school civics club in 1912. His family was already tight with the Rockefeller's, his father, Samuel Bush, worked for Frank Rockefeller, John D Rockefeller's brother. Prescott Bush was a eugenicist, who was also "Hitler's Banker." And was one of the six Yale students in attendance.
- Mrs. W K Vanderbilt. Aka Anne Harriman who married into the Vanderbilt railroad dynasty. Daughter of Oliver Harriman, from a railroad tycoon family himself, handled the finances, went into banking. Brother of Edward Harriman. Partner in bank Prescott Bush worked for as "Hitler's Banker."

19 A Public Country and Its Expansion
20 The Logic of Disease Politics
23 A Nation-State? A Democratic State?
From the book's official description:
"Diseases are everyday, ordinary occurrences intimately related to people’s daily lives. However, as the metaphor of the “Sick Man of East Asia” emerged against the backdrop of a weak modern China, health care and the curing of diseases were turned into grand state politics with far-reaching implications. This book, starting with the argument for diseases being metaphors, describes and interprets such incidents in China’s history as the Abolishment of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Patriotic Hygiene Campaign and the Cooperative Medical Services. In an effort to reveal the internal logic of disease politics in the transformation of the state-people relationship, the book analyzes key aspects including the politicization and inclusion of diseases in state governance, the double disciplining of hygiene, legitimacy construction of the state, the remaking of the nationals, and the expansion of the “publicness” of the state. The book argues that disease politics in modern China has developed following the path from nationals to the people, and then to citizens, or from crisis politics and mobilization politics to life politics. In addition, a marked change has occurred in China’s state building: increasingly standard, rationalized and institutionalized means have been employed while the non-standard means, such as large-scale mobilization and ideological coercion, had been historically used in China."
That book was introduced to me in March, 2020 in the highly influential Council on Foreign Relations article instructing the west to follow China's authoritarian pandemic model:
The Marxist path of Medical Sociology to subdue the masses of world and choke notions of individual and freedom from the public mind. Breaking a few eggs to make an omelet:
"During the Weimar Republic in the mid-twentieth century, more than half of all German physicians became early joiners of the Nazi Party, surpassing the party enrollments of all other professions. From early on, the German Medical Society played the most instrumental role in the Nazi medical program, beginning with the marginalization of Jewish physicians, proceeding to coerced “experimentation,” “euthanization,” and sterilization, and culminating in genocide via the medicalization of mass murder of Jews and others caricatured and demonized by Nazi ideology. Given the medical oath to “do no harm,” many postwar ethical analyses have strained to make sense of these seemingly paradoxical atrocities. Why did physicians act in such a manner? Yet few have tried to explain the self-selected Nazi enrollment of such an overwhelming proportion of the German Medical Society in the first place."
FF - So you see, it's both sides, not left-right, R-D, Marxist-Fascist. It's both. what unites them in next comment.
It's those who believe in authoritarian collectivist, central power regimes. Led by a political class of "superiors" called "experts" and those possessing genetically "superior" blood. Eugencists. And nearly all of them have a unifying core belief today: That there is no God. They reject God.
Faith in God - true faith - is the best immunity to the frailties of the human condition. And what is missing from our leaders and the parasitic "elite" class is faith in God. They are almost universally Atheists. Though many cloak their Atheism in the term "Humanist." Which by definition is the worship of man.
Take Fauci. He has no use for God or any other higher authority:
This is what Atheists/Humanists believe. The Fauci's actually publicly have declared, they're "good without god." Note the article's lower case "g" as an intentional irreverence:
These God-less people believe they are capable of being good people without God. Believing themselves to be of the highest moral character and guided by the highest ethics they "have no use for God." They're better than God! Celia, it truly is what your title refers to, this is about our souls. Do we believe in God, submit to God? Or do we reject God and submit to men, weak, and fallen, afflicted with evil that can only reside in a soul that has rejected God. It is through God, our faithful service and submission to the Almighty, that we will find our freedom again, and realize our full potential our creator wants us to achieve. Start by rejecting Allopathic medicine. And stop complying with public health "emergencies" and practices that go against nature and God. Natural, holistic healers are the only ones I trust, the only ones I believe anyone should trust. Healing systems that aren't captured by evil, God-less men.
We "humans" can't beat the Universe --which is God. I guess the powerful "they" really believe in themselves that much; there are plenty of them with some physically dangerous power. I think they are angry they are not getting what they want as quickly as they want. "They invented so much technology for their own purposes, pretending it was for us because we are the ones who have paid the bill for it and now it's all coming back to bite em faster than they can hide.
Yes, we’re still friends, Celia. And I think you are an excellent writer. I enjoyed reading this article. And thank you for including the link to your 2006 Fauci NIAID Reich expose in Harper’s. I have always wanted to read it but couldn’t find a link. Now I can read it. I didn’t know about the 1990s attack from within on Peter Duesberg. Is that because he didn’t deny the existence of the HIV and just said it is a harmless virus just like all the other retroviruses are? Isn’t it enough to say AIDS is not caused by the virus? Isn’t it just a matter of the definition of the word “virus”?
Thank you for saying this. Your saying it helps me understand why I have been so obsessed with ancestry and rooting out the "bad actors."
The infiltration is real, and while yes, it seems like it is too late, it isn't. Because this is what we were told would happen in the Bible, the "Great Tribulation."
Tribulation means threshing -- from the Latin root tribulare, "to press" or "to oppress." To separate the wheat from the chaff.
Celia, as I always say, you are a bright light, a beacon, an angel in my life. The things you write help me see that I am on the right track. I knew I was deep down, because God is always guiding me and I trust Him. But your presence helps me see that what I am about to do, what I am about to start posting about (my "All in the Family" series,) is necessary.
God bless you! And thank you from the bottom of my heart.
A friend of mine, a doctor's daughter, told me she thought medicine/health care should not be funded by either government or the insurance industry. She believed that every transaction between practitioner, provider and patient should be purely a person to to person transaction. I was horrified at the time; later I realized she was right. I have had only two really effective practitioners help me in my long life; they have both required person to person payments, avoiding government and the insurance industry. Their ideas did not "fit" with the corporate salesmanship of the allopathic medical model, and these ideas were what saved my life. At age 81, I use no pharmaceutical products, very rarely see a doctor, only if a medical test is demanded for another purpose, and I do not take advice from allopathic medical doctors because I have had a look at the other patients in their waiting rooms, and realize that these doctors know very little about the Hippocratic basis of medicine. My husband, at age 82, was terribly ill when I met him nine years ago. I used nutritional advice to cure him of diabetes and Lyme disease. He, like me, uses no more pharma products, and avoids a form of government medical intervention. Needless to say, I guess, we refused any kind of medical "vaccine" injections, which we consider poisons. The medical industry is so dangerous and so corrupt that we want as little to do with it as possible.
Hello...I am just catching up and read this. If you would like to know more about our program please email me at ellenrixford@netscape.net or ellenrixford@aim.com, and put "nutritional program" in the subject line. Make sure you get an answer from me. I DO answer requests for information.
Hi Ellen, I appreciate your enlighten remarks especially when you said you cured your husband of diabetes and Lyme disease with nutritional advice. I'm 81 also and got Lyme disease this summer-with 2 months lost to brain fog and muscle pain, finally diagnosed at an ER and seemingly cured now by doxycycline(I feel fine), but sometimes antibiotic cures are short lived, so I'd be interested in knowing what you used to help your husband. Anybody else reading this is welcomed to chime in. I am also taking Bill Rawls' herbs and vitamins.
By the way...I just saw this. Did I answer, and send you our nutritional program? If not, and if you'd like it, please email me at ellenrixford@aim.com and put "send the program" in the title box. Glad to help.
Antibiotics haven't worked for many people, and they do ugly things to the biome. Strengthening the body by truly nourishing and detoxifying it gives it the immune system power to hold Lyme in check....and many other diseases too. We probably got Covid, but were totally symptom free. Tested negative many times, when we were forced to test.
This is the correct approach - pay as you go out of pocket. The question is, what if there are no pockets? I mean f there insufficient income to pay for direct medical services due to extreme wealth inequality?. Solution - increase purchase capacity by removing taxes from earned income (wages, needed production) and collect taxes from commons rent, which will remove land from speculation and profiteering and increase purchasing capacity by enabling fair free market to supply affordable housing. join the movement at www.theIU.org
I would not rule out voluntary private insurance created by a community of citizens. Or a community coming together to help an injured member. But it should have nothing to do with either government or the for-profit pharmaceutical or medical industry, as both are so extremely corrupted by greed and dishonesty. "Modern Western medicine" is rewarded for making patients sicker, rather than helping them get well, using the excellent principles of Hippocrates....the first being "Do no harm".
Are you aware that in American hospitals, PCR testing is done on any patient no matter why the patient comes to the hospital? The PCR tests are not only unable to diagnose infection; they are easily manipulated to give a false positive. If the patient gets a (fake) positive, he is often refused Ivermectin or any other med that could help him. Instead he is forcibly hooked up to a Remdesivir drip, Remdesivir, aggressively pushed by Anthony Fauci, is guaranteed to produce organ failure within days. Then he is force-ventilated, denied food or liquids, and his family and friends, also any outside doctors, are prevented from coming to help him or advocate for him. When he dies, the hospital can collect a quarter million dollars for a "Covid death". Or more. Now there are class action lawsuits going on against hospitals for their organized murder of patients. I have seen videos made by relatives and friends of such murdered patients, testifying to this terrible treatment and the totally unnecessary deaths of the patients, and there is a new film about this horror. I think it is called Protocol. These hospitals should be shut down and the personnel responsible for these deaths should be tried for murder and appropriately punished.
Praying fervently for your vision and courage to sail through these challenging days, Celia. God has you. You do know that. Lots of love, respect and gentleness for the weeks and months ahead. Keep doing you!!
Bravo, Celia! For me, as one of the many who thought The Left were the good guys up until 2020, I can look back now and see that you were 100% on-target with this thesis you shared in this post. I think you're absolutely right, that "public health" was a sham all along, a pretext for domination and control, as was so obvious from 2020 onward.
You're a treasure, honestly, both for seeing through the ruse decades ago, but even more, for continuing to be open and vulnerable with your thoughts and feelings as you share controversial (but crucial) connections between dots in your writings, even after having been cancelled so hard. Yet, you still come back sharing insights that are hard for many to see, and doing it in a very human and trusting way.
Please recognize that doing that shows that you have a truly remarkable level of inner strength and resilience that the world needs so desperately at this time. You're knocking it out of the park, just being you. Keep going. Your efforts are definitely seen and appreciated!
This is revelational. Why didn’t we see it from the start? I certainly didn’t. Public health lies at the root of all the problems we’ve experienced the last 4 years (and beyond). It is the cornerstone for vaccine culture and vaccines are the thread that keeps the public health mentality alive between emergencies. I feel we’re a long way from reform.
The extremes of both left and right represent authoritarianism and dictatorship. Vera Sharav makes the point that the Nazi regime gave medical providers the opportunity to become the "public health" enforcers and eugenics facilitators, and many jumped at the opportunity -- for the advancement of "science" of course. Is the right any better than the left then in this regard? Isn't the current situation of corporate control of government a "right" principle of both parties now? Under Republican control would "mandates" have been an impossibility? The "lockdowns" were enforced under a Republican administration.
The problem is ultimately that Americans don't understand the freedoms they actually have and are willing to give them up based on ignorance. If they had ignored the "mandates" en mass, they would have disappeared overnight. Most people ap"parently" want to be told what to do so they don't have to take responsibility for their own decisions.
"I don’t even understand non-clumping cat litter." -- This made me laugh! Great line...You understand so much...Too much...You were rejected, smeared, etc. because you DO understand, AND have a great talent for conveying what you've figured out...As for the critics: Screw 'em!...Masses of people appreciate your work.
Hi Celia…. Well, I like the “Non-Clumping” part, it does fit in the context of things that don’t make sense, meaning, why would anyone come up with Cat Litter that doesn’t Clump ? To me it came across as a Metaphor.
“There is a tendency on the left, to think if someone in any way disagrees with the left it must be for the lowest possible reason and if you found the lowest possible motive you have found the right one. Theres this whole culture of no one would leave us or quarrel with us if they weren't a sellout. It is actually a very sick mentality and very widespread.”
Great writer but got used as soldier of Big Atheism, founded by Stalin (The League If The Militant Godless.) Still, he is very missed, he had a mind of his own. But atheism is to my mind dangerous stuff to play with.
I agree. He was a young Marxist who moved to the "Neocon" right in middle age, breaking up with former allies Edward Said, Noam Chomsky and Gore Vidal among others. I first used to read his column in The Nation along with Alex Cockburn.
The Atheism/Antitheism stance is one of the few things he never abandoned. He made quite a career out of that. As you say, he was a great writer, and a very readable one, although I found his No God absolutism as grating as I do the current No Virus absolutism that pervades the medical freedom scene.
But when he parted ways with the left after 9/11, and even before that when he swore an affidavit that Sid Blumenthal (father of Max) had lied to protect the Clintons, Hitch was treated as a sort of pariah or a Judas. By and large, if you leave the big tent, the left can't agree to disagree and still be friends.
All their arguments — when you break them down — are just ad hominem fallacies. Even what Hitchens said in that quote — he’s describing ad hominem. Which is, on its face, illogical.
Thanks for the Hitch thumbnail anthology. I'm not a N V absolutist. I just can't find its hiding spot :- ) But if that's disagreement already then count me glad yet friendly.
Actually, I've been reading up on this lately because the NV folks have given us all something to think about. Especially with Mike Yeadon joining the team. And just today I found this article.
"In the context of the COVID-19 “pandemic”, many people have come to understand that political and scientific authorities have been systematically lying about the origin of the infectious agent, as well as the need for and the safety of mandatory countermeasures, including lock-downs, masks and vaccines. Some skeptics have gone further and begun to question the existence of the virus responsible for COVID-19, or even of viruses and pathogenic germs altogether. Here, we put these questions in perspective."
There is also a rebuttal to this article, and a rebuttal to the rebuttal. And the discussion isn't too technical that the intelligent layman (a mythical creature these days) can't follow it.
Bhakti, ey ! You know the conspicuous detractors right? Kaufmann, Cowan, Christine -?, the lady from Toronto, Mark & Sam _? the medical couple from New Zealand. I'll think of their last names after I send this.
When No Virus attracts anything near the number of medicine/biology insiders as the anti-COVID-19 injectables, or even better, architects and engineers for 9/11 truth have done, we will all have to take them a bit more seriously I guess. Although in science, even a minority of one may be correct.
The Baileys — Sam and Mark. I know 'em well. I have a copy of Terrain Theory, which is a good book but 90% by Dr. Ulric Williams. I thought that was not quite cricket, Sam putting her name on the spine ahead of Williams. It would be like me republishing Gibbon's Decline and Fall and calling it "by Groves & Gibbon" "with a foreword and updates by Tim Groves."
I loved Hitchens for his Kissinger essay/book. But yes. I am reading Everlasting Man by G.K. Chesterton now. It is a marvelous antidote to academic atheism as it skewers all their arguments.
Yes Hitchens may have been an Atheist but he was a BRILLIANT Atheist. I had the good fortune to hear him at a small local bookstore, DG Wills in La Jolla, CA, in the early 2000’s when he was on a book tour. He talked for four hours, to a packed crowd inside the store and outside on the sidewalk. He was smoking cigarettes and drinking whisky, and never missed a beat…no alcoholic brain fog for that guy.
I also saw him ‘debate’ a Rabbi at a JCC, also in La Jolla, CA a year or so later. No cigarettes or booze, and with even a sharper rapier wit about him.
Dawkins influenced my life. Years ago I almost got in a fight once with an obnoxious hitchiker who thought Dawkins was God even though Dawkins said "God" doesn't exist. True story.
A real gem, that quote. Thank you. I can think of no better example than the late Hitchens whose scotch-soaked mind marinated favorably. My big beef with him was his vainglorious defense of Bush lite's assault on Iraq.
I was witness to that “Scotch-soaked mind” (along with non stop cigarette smoking) up close and personal at a local independent bookstore DG Wills in La Jolla, CA in the early -mid 2000’s. Hitchens was on a ‘book tour’…I sat in the 2nd row…he talked, smoked cigarettes and drank whisky for near 4 hours and never missed a beat. I was marveling at how his voluminous intake of alcohol, didn’t affect is recall or facility to remember historical events as they pertained to the conversation. His mind was a thing to behold!
And sitting in a chair for 4 hours is not for sissies, either, even when the speaker is mesmerizing. Lucky you, I would gladly have joined you for that one. I think scotch was his vitamin S :- )
Surprisingly that night it was never boring…one anecdotal comment to the next.
I have never again heard that wit and recall in many people. Back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s I went to hear a lot of ‘thinkers and shakers’ whenever they came to town.
I'm about halfway through David Icke's latest book, "The Dream". I'm afraid all of this goes far beyond Public Health. I don't agree with everything he says, but makes some very interesting observations, particularly about the pervasive structure of control on Earth. Given the robotic, unthinking nature of most humans--who will do anything authority tells them to do: put on a mask, take a toxic shot, inject your children with toxins, don't believe the evidence of your own eyes--I'm not sure humanity stands much of a chance.
I would like to add some contradictionary thoughts. Hope I will not be directly send to hell for doing so. ;-)
Having a look at Cuban Medical system in the 1980s I can not confirm public health being evil. Also being under heaviest economic and otherwise pressure from the USA, Cuban regime was successful in providing a significant better quality of health care to their people than the much wealthier profit-driven industrialized western countries and especially the USA were able to. And whenever and whereever on the planet a medical emergency case happenend Cuban physicians and nurses rushed in to help. Allways being the first to arrive and the last to leave.
That is now long ago. Current situation is different, more complex and in significant parts unknown to me.
But there is one thing which confuses me. Gates, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Soros and all these guys are not at all marxists! To bring it to the point. Karl Marx on the nature of capital: "300 Prozent (Profit) und es tritt jedes menschliche Gesetz in den Staub. Selbst auf die Gefahr des Galgens." My modest translation to that: "300% of profit and capital will trample whatever human law into dust. Even at the risk of being hanged."
Now what did Bill Gates say? "For every dollar I invested into the vaccine business I got twenty dollars in return." A profit rate of 2000% ! So according to Marx, capitalist Gates is worth the gallow some seven times.
The word "Marxism” is a put-down word in North America, like “Communism” or “socialism.” It’s pejorative rather than descriptive, like the word “retard” now. (I lose social points just for saying the word “retard,” though it was once value neutral.)
Because there are so many tens of millions of North Americans who enjoy the more-or-less meaningless invective of words in the commie/socialist vein, they’ve had an unusually long shelf life. My dad was doing it in the 1960s (pinkos! Stalinists!) and on Substack in 2024 people revel in the same thing. For a conservative to say “Communist” is as pleasurable as for a comedian to say “fat” or a woker to say “pretty privilege.” Canadians who absurdly call the unpleasant functionary Trudeau a “socialist” are doing so for the pleasure of the word on their tongues and in their social media. It garners points. He’s as far from being a willing distributor of the commons on an equal basis as it’s possible to go, and they know that when they say “socialist.”
It’s not as if functionaries in Russia in the 1920s just sort of found some Marx on their shelf and thought, hmm, that would be fun to read. Marx has been an attack word almost from the get-go. Torturing people using Marx and “communism” was as fun for Russians as it for the stratum of people in our culture who enjoy that sort of thing. And for a century there have been Russians with a facetious understanding of the whole song and dance.
I found reading Marx back in the day quite useful (imagine actually reading him—his pokes at capital remain fresh and amusing) but even in the last century it wasn’t like anyone seriously considered that in deploying Marx we would be ushering in, for example a return to the New Testament church, which had all things in common.
If you say or write the more useful “commonism” no one hears or sees you. Typos are common, if you take my meaning.
But enough about leaders. Boring. What I’m most interested in that pertains to Cuba is the gardening. People in control of their own food. Now that’s something.
Public Health is definitely evil at scale. Are there instances of good outcomes? Yes, but they pale in comparison to the overall effect of Public Health.
With respect to Gates, et. all., it has been said that the Marxism/socialism of today (China for example) is not the socialism of old, but rather an evolved version involving the merger of billionaires and government joining to increase their wealth and power over the majority of the population.
I think there is much about Cuba (and China) that automatically triggers negative reactions in many Westerners. Until one has actually lived in those countries for a long while, one can't really have an authentic grasp of the conditions there, especially today. This ALSO applies to those who DID live there who have migrated to the West for the typical reasons.
Heck, even me coming from my old homeland in the late 80s, a country's situation that the US / West painted as just "an evil dictator "(Marcos) who was thrown out by "the people" - well, even I was fully persuaded of the "goodness" of the "Yellow People Power Revolution" (the first color revolution?) that happened in the '80s - until I found out the REAL story, the REAL POWERS behind the regime change then - the See Eye Ay, supporting the political turncoats who became Marcos' enemies all of a sudden. It's well known among those familiar with intelligence that the highest number of that alphabet agency assets and agents were concentrated in Manila, at least in the 60s thru the 80s.
A long-winded way to say, I question everything about so many countries labeled as such-and-such in the Western press, including the so-called alt media. Any POV that saturates the Western media is automatically suspect to me. There may be lies mixed in with truths there.
So, even people who come from those countries may not know the real picture/situation of their own countries, too.
Also, one more detail - only Cuba today freely uses the excellent and effective medical ozone therapy - which is heavily mocked and marginalized in the "modern" USA health care (disease care) system controlled by Big Phrma.
Medical ozone therapy is used by integrative doctors and practitioners here in the US. But it is expensive and is a ‘private pay’ situation. That’s a shame because I have heard many good things about ozone therapy but it’s not affordable for the majority of people.
Indeed, so. Good to know that you are aware of its effectiveness and near-absence of toxicity when used properly.
It's also prohibitively expensive to cover medical ozone therapy with malpractice insurance -- I mean, *really* expensive -- even for doctors. And insurances refuse to add it to their coverage for patients, too. Yet another way the insurance industry controls what's more accessible to ordinary Joes and Janes. Those are some reasons among many why it's expensive and must be an out-of-pocket expense. Yet, the healing effects are nothing short of miraculous for many.
(And if you or anyone you know are interested in receiving medical ozone by rectal insufflation or autohemotherapy, PLEASE shoot me an email. I would be able to help you or others get access to it. -> pathgirl8@proton.me .)
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity of spirit, Lupita! I'm almost always alone in my opinions on stuff. Am used to the isolation by now, LOL.
Your gallows calculations are excellent. And there's a bit of irony in there (unless it's just German reticence) that could count as "gallows humor." Well played.
As for 1980s Cuba, yes, I wish I had seen all that. Even just to have seen a culture that wasn't barfing new cars onto all the roads would have been something to see. One day I hope to trek to Cuba. Hopefully capitalism won't have inundated it. What I really hope for those folks is that they hang on to their food gardening traditions. I used to hear good things about them. Russian too, now that I think of it. Two places that are said to have a good local food gardening tradition.
I don't keep up on things, which all in all might be a good thing.
And also thank you for bringing Cuban gardening back to my attention. Heard about it about a decade ago but didn't keep it in mind. Seemed amazing to me.
German saying is: "Du bist, was du isst." (you are what you eat).
Here in Europe governements try to destroy farmers aiming to give them zombie-makers (I suppose you know whom I mean) complete control over our food supply. Even trying to tell people home gardening would be bad because enforcing *climate change*. (Nobody believes in such garbage of course).
Have a look at the coming elections next sunday here in Germany. Landtagswahlen in the state of Thüringen an in the state of Sachsen.
Looks very much like Berlin gornement parties (social democrats, liberals, greens) will be completly smashed.
“Today I am trying to belt things out without my usual hoarding tendencies—circling endlessly, abandoning drafts.”
Sooo relatable!!! 😩😆 So good! Keep doing this!
I am actually working on an article called “Note to Self: Be More Like Celia Farber” (really — I started writing it yesterday — it’s in my drafts) in which I say exactly this. Because I struggle the same way and I see you belting out stuff on a daily basis and you inspire me to just publish. 🥰
Public health began for me as an infant with two or three inoculations.
It was the late fifties, and the jabbers had yet to get into their stride.
As an infant, I remember getting the whooping cough injection and the oral polio vaccine, which came in a sugar cube. The infections measles, mumps, chickenpox and jaundice I took in my stride without any help from the NHS, and then I had the BCG jab against TB, which I remember as being more like a staple gun than a needle, as a 12-year-old.
Fortunately, I was born too late to be doused in DDT for lice control, and I missed out on all those vitamin deficiency diseases such as rickets and pellagra. And my mother told me how when she was an infant in the mid-1930s and was sick with pneumonia, her penniless father walked around East London and visited seven doctors surgeries before he could find one who agreed to come and treat her for free,
So brought up on stories like that, I grew up safe in the belief that the postwar NHS was a major improvement on the previous healthcare regime.
I never expected it would turn into a facsimile of the sort of institutional killing machines designed to eliminate "useless eaters" that the American and then the German systems developed into in the 1920s and 30s.
However, these days the UK is on the financial rocks much as American and Germany were in the 1920s and 30s, and the pressure to reduce spending on things like healthcare and pensions must be acute. But does the need to save money and balance the books, by itself, provide a big enough motive or incentive for carers (let's clap for 'em!)to kill hospital and nursing home patients systematically by following orders and complying with protocols?
Actually many ppl have been screaming from the rooftops that the medical field was the tool to usher in Marxism. This isn't new. Medical lysenkoism has been seen for years under the DEI theory. Imagine now that in order to usher in communism-maoism ideologies..that they actually made everyone sick enough that we craved and needed healthcare... this is not new.
I don't mean to short change anybody who has been screaming this from the rooftops. I just found this historian and it all felt into place, all that which I already "knew" through the strange insanity of HIV/AIDS but I didn't understand how it traced through history.
Unreal.
Medical Sociology. Are you familiar with it? Obama's top advisor is. It's the work of her lifetime, continuing the family business.
"Medical Sociology.":
https://www.sociologygroup.com/medical-sociology/
"Medical sociology may be traced back to the late 1800s in terms of intellectual development. Sociology and allopathic medicine, two embryonic sciences, began to make contact in modest but major ways in the late 19th century." [and the "science" of Eugenics]
Medical Sociology is also tied to Marxist "Conflict Theory":
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conflict_theories
And Medical Sociology gave rise to an organization, "Association of Internes and Medical Students," that was disbanded and scattered to other medical sociology movements after it was associated with the Red Scare during the McCarthy Anti-Communist hearings:

AIMS helped midwife Disease Politics:

Valerie Jarrett, long time top advisor to Barack Obama, deemed The other side of Obama's brain," her father was a leading member of AIMS. And a eugenicist:

Particularly the section "Criticism":
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Samuel_Wise
And Rabbi Wise was an ardent eugenicist. One of the early faith leaders to advance it. As highlighted in the following book link. It's not to say that Rabbi Wise supported the Holocaust. But it shows how even Jews can co-author their own holocaust with their grandiose ideas about "fixing" mankind:
Preaching Eugenics: Religious Leaders and the American Eugenics Movement
https://sci-hub.se/https://www.jstor.org/stable/42944393

Why did so many German doctors join the Nazi Party early?
International Journal of Law and Psychiatry, October 3, 2012
https://sci-hub.se/http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.ijlp.2012.09.022,
"During the Weimar Republic in the mid-twentieth century, more than half of all German physicians became early joiners of the Nazi Party, surpassing the party enrollments of all other professions.
Take Fauci. He has no use for God or any other higher authority:
https://ijr.com/anthony-fauci-claims-no-longer-needs-church-personal-ethics-enough/
This is what Atheists/Humanists believe. The Fauci's actually publicly have declared, they're "good without god." Note the article's lower case "g" as an intentional irreverence:
https://www.sltrib.com/religion/2021/07/01/dr-anthony-fauci-named/
There's even entire religions that are "good without god," like the interfaith ones:
https://www.interfaithamerica.org/article/dr-anthony-fauci-named-2021-humanist-of-the-year/
These God-less people believe they are capable of being good people without God.
Good for you and your hubby! I hope to follow in your footsteps.
I would love to know how you helped get your hubby on the path to health.
email me and I can send information. ellenrixford@aim.com. Put "nutritional information" in the subject line.
There are “crowd source” options cropping up, to replace the insurance model.
I haven’t looked closely into it, as I live in an area with socialized medicine, but have been wondering if it would be a good option.
I'm gonna wind up homeless.
I have an extra bedroom....
Praying fervently for your vision and courage to sail through these challenging days, Celia. God has you. You do know that. Lots of love, respect and gentleness for the weeks and months ahead. Keep doing you!!
Me too. Let’s all live together. There’s joy in knowing we were not begotten for this evil. The argument is over.
Literally? (Why?) or philosophically?
I don’t think so Señorita Celia! 💗🙏🏼
Agree!
Thank you, Celia. You knew before you knew. Which happens with intuitive and open-hearted people.
And I loved this, which made me laugh. "I don’t even understand non-clumping cat litter." (Me either)
Thanks for being you.
Just corrected to "clumping cat litter." You all are my first experience of being accepted. Thank you.
Now do public education. Then secular marriage. It all traces back to the government taking over the sacraments.
Same thing I said
The first clue is that there ain't no such thing as "public health." There is only individual health.
Ah! wait. I meant "clumping cat litter." Will fix.
Thank you for your kind words.
Hi Celia…. Well, I like the “Non-Clumping” part, it does fit in the context of things that don’t make sense, meaning, why would anyone come up with Cat Litter that doesn’t Clump ? To me it came across as a Metaphor.
It's fun both ways.
Public health policy needs to be taken away from the doctors and pointyheads and handed back to the sanitation engineers.
― Christopher Hitchens
Ancient fortune cookie proverb: Ad hominems are like small dogs, too small to defeat their foe so they hump their leg instead :- )
Do Viruses Exist
By Michael Palmer, MD and Sucharit Bhakdi, MD
https://doctors4covidethics.org/do-viruses-exist/
Still, I might pick up a copy of the Baileys' Virus Mania. I like reading paper books while seated in an armchair.
Thanks for the Chesterton book tip.
I'm endeared to stories like yours where one man can have a quite albeit remote mentoring effect on another, younger man's life.
Yes, Mambas and Atheism, avoid like The Plague.
Was that his there-are-no-athiests-in-a-foxhole moment?
Do you agree in my calculation?
(This unpopular POV prolly makes me even more politically alienated from everyone else here, LOL)
No it doesn’t Teresa L! 💗😉
I don't keep up on things, which all in all might be a good thing.
thank you for your kind and positive words.
I don’t give any of them a pass. If I knew then what I know now, none of my children would have any vaccinations at all.
Save money and balance the books? After they helicopter dropped money during covid, and the wars?
Good point.
