This is what happens when a society gives up their guns. The government knows they can do whatever they want and the people cannot fight back. If the US did not have the 2nd Amendment the same violations we see taking place in New Zealand, Australia, UK would be taking place in the US too.

It wasn't that long ago here in the Land of the Free, that we had something similar. Intersection island derelict-appearing guy pleading for help. People took off their seat belts to hand the guy money and then got ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt (IIRC). Pretty sure that was during covid hoax but I might be mis-remembering the details.
Meanwhile, "mostly peaceful" protestors were allowed a reign of violence and destruction that I hadn't previously seen in this country in my 57 years. DA's let them off the hook because of the fallacious "equity" which is nothing more than a different kind of discrimination.
Let's not forget the images and experience of law enforcement gone over-the-top gung-ho for the pointless charade of covid mitigation. They literally patrolled businesses in my area to see if mask mandates were being enforced by businesses. Even checking "non-essential" business to include automated car washes!! And they LOVED every second of their new-found fascist power.
They harassed, threatened, beat up, and violently arrested too many people to count. It's putrid and disgusting. No surprise that they continue with this sort of thing. It's apparently the kind of people that they are. Actions and priorities tell much more about people than their words or oaths.
The FBI set up a sting operation in Michigan and developed an imaginary plot to kidnap Governor Whitmer. They nearly got away with it.
In Washington, DC, hundreds of innocent Trump supporters still rot away in prison for trespassing (or in some cases, simply for being in the nation's capitol).
Democracy is under attack in every Western nation.
Democracy is not a good thing. It is “majority rule.” Two wolves and a sheep deciding what’s for dinner. The things actually under attack are liberty and justice, which protect the minority.
The police are not your friends, never have been...they take orders like any good soldier should and does. They work for the state. In the 60's and 70's large city police departments were infiltrated by the CIA, many still are today. Many police officers are returning vets fro the Middle Eastern wars. Fortifier your home and vehicles, learn to shoot a weapon, learn to protect yourself and rely less on the police. The police can do what ever they want with you and hold anything you say against you...of course you all know this. This a friendly reminder...
If I am recalling this correctly, in Washington DC, a woman sued because police did not come in time to stop a crime. She lost because the police are not there to protect you. They are there to uphold the law.

Why risk their lives stopping real crime or catching real criminals in service to the public. Instead of serving the public, keep them captive by safely spending your resources on conditioning techniques administered to a compliant population that is receptive to control and coercive tactics. Its a sadomasochistic relationship that should be one of commensalism at a minimum, or perhaps mutualistic.
All those officers are injected with bioweapons as well. Will they die soon? Calling in sick? Desperate people doing desperate things, unable to grasp their role in a democide as they sicken and die.

Yeah this is a mainstream agent KimDotcom story. MSM spin its to try to stop cell phone drivers with a tagline how its ok for police to do anything to catch "offenders" , that police are exposed when they act wrongly.
On the flip side media Its also used as the matrix agent meme = state police are everywhere watching you. ( fear) . And I will add everyone is not a agent of the State (disguised).
