The original video of "Danser Encore" somehow made its way to me right around the time of its release, in December 2020. I remember how, during the deepest part of that whole creepy year, as I grew more isolated and estranged from everyone I had previously relied on, this song and all its beautiful singers reached through to me with such an overwelming feeling of solidarity and humanity that I burst into tears, the first true feeling I'd felt in months, or maybe ever. It is hard to convey now the power this music conveyed at such a cold and scary time.

Yes! This song, the dancing and flash mobs, an English version with a couple strumming a guitar on their bed, they all brought so much joy! He knows how to see and be light when faced with a light sucking dementor. Fluidity, lightness, harmony, a mighty pen.... resistance, advocacy, community organizing raised to a martial art

Oh that I were a millionaire (excuses, excuses!) I'd produce this in a bunch of cities in the US. On construction sites, playgrounds, boardrooms, cafes, church steps.
Thanks for sharing this, it’s wonderful & completely passed me by. I found some of the socially distanced mask wearing flash mobbers in the 2nd video rather depressing though, I don’t think they quite got the sentiment of the song! 😵💫
