One tablespoon per day of (purified Norwegian) Carlson fish oil (that's 15 mL) will effectively treat depression and bipolar disorder in over 50% of cases because of the kinds of omega-3 fatty acids it contains. Butter and cheese (& presumably fat) from grass-fed cows also contains omega-3 fatty acids, DHA (stabilizing, antimanic) and EPA (elevating, antidepressant).
Flax seed oil has EPA, but not DHA, so won't help mood swings, but may help depression.
Daily exercise in the sun is very good, as is putting your hands in the soil to grow vegetables, and then eating them, through benefits to the gut microbiome, which are also antidepressant/anti-anxiety.
It is my view that the vegetarian manner of living, by its purely physical effect on the human temperament, would most beneficially influence the lot of mankind.

Not only did my body feel amazing, I was also surprised that my anxiety went way down. The celery juice guy is a fraud - he looks so unhealthy, I don't know why anyone listens to him.
IT is import to understand we are, as a rule, are malnourished. We don't get the correct proteins, in the correct amounts, trace minerals and vitamins. We are fed corporate junk food replete with seed oils and sugars. So, meat is one way to make up for the deficiencies in other areas of our diet. You don't have to eat meat to do this but that requires a conscious understanding of what to eat and supplements to take.
Now, to those who want to eat meat, it behooves us to know how the animal is raised and what it was fed. There is an energetic component to eating another animal and eating an animal that lived free on a range, was pampered by its caretakers, and put down humanely provides a different energetic experience to the human eating it than consuming a facgtory farmed sick, anemic, disconnected animal.
When we eat confused life forms we become confused.. not just mentally, but physiologically. Eating an animal bred to STUPEFACTION that can't reproduce without assistance and would never be able to survive in the wild, is not the same as eating, let's say a wild buffalo.
For the same reason you don't want to eat plants than can't reproduce themselves or have been hybridized into a confused life form, ie GMOs.

I cured hyperactivity in my son, gut dysbiosis, asperger´s in my daughter, and major brain fog, hair loss and chronic colitis in myself, in a matter of weeks! Now, we get milk from a cow 2x per week, I make my own yogurt, sauerkraut and ferments. I know the families that produce our eggs and meat. We don't eat anything from a box or tin. No edible products, just food. Its hard to eat out, though.

I had extreme anxiety about two years ago that I had been dealing with for probably better than five years. My wife suggested a very low carb, carnivore diet. In three weeks the anxiety was gone. Closest thing to a miracle I've ever experienced. Still on the diet.
no disrespect to the plants-only crowd, but i went vegan for about a year after fukushima. because i eat a lot of fruits and vegetables anyway i thought it would be easy. boy was i wrong. always in a bad mood, always hungry. actually gained a little weight. went back to my old habits and within a week i was my old self. make of that what you will
never got into the full vegetarian, but not a great meat eater. Recently a new store opened, which carries lamb and sometimes bison meat, and wow it is so good. My dog also is a great supporter! We have a mixture of teeth, so we are not all veggie eaters. I think if you are healthy a mixed diet is best. I don't think I would like an all meat diet, but a colleague long time ago lost a lot of weight on an all meat diet, to the surprise of all!
My moderation such as it is tells me that people who feel fine, are ok, not depressed, etc, can be omnivores but this way of eating is a lifeline for the severely depressed and they (we) must be strict. I am not always strict and I pay the price. This diet is also hugely important for dogs and cats.
I have fed both my cats (one just passed at 17) raw, no hormones meat their whole lives and kept them away from kill shots. Can’t remember last time I took to vet.
cats have seen vet only once, when they were sterilized. They are both 7 years old. Dog has had some stomach trouble and seems to be allergic to chicken (I know this from a friend who helps at the vet). Dog is almost 9. I hope they all live a long and healthy life! Been to doc may be 4 or 5 times in the last 15 years. Avoiding docs and hospitals by all means, that is where the sick people are! and the docs around here are all pill and jab pushers.

I am not an evangelist for one diet fits all, nor for a black or white approach to the ethics of eating. Taurine is a key ingredient in meat that is not available in large quantities in other foods. If you're not into meat, you can supplement taurine.
For many years I did juicing for my health. It did not work, and many symptoms got worse, (weight gain, brain fog, skin issues). I stopped eating raw veggies, now I only eat cooked, and focus on animal protein. No sugar. No caffeine. Don't have depression, at sixty I can walk 8km and 300 stairs easily in a day. I do take astaxanthin; it reversed my gray hair and alleviated terrible floaties in my eyes. (They were so bad I had to give up golf - I could no longer watch my ball! They are completely gone now). Thank you for voicing the counter narrative; almost everything we have been told is 'healthy' is not. Get the word out!
Wow. I too would love to know the manufacturer of whichever Astaxanthin supplement you use for health support. I've had floaters for decades (I'm 65yo now). Despite tending very well to my body at this point in my life (Ayurveda and meat) and outliving dire prognoses - the floaters only increase. Mercola is a big proponent of Astaxanthin - I haven't yet tried it. Thanks so much!

You might find interesting that floaters appeared in my world in 1977 when I did a hyper-brief stint in the Navy in 1977. Just long enough to get all the vacks-injex in boot camp, before realizing I was not made for the military. The vacks-injex landed me with what was then called 'non-A non-B hepatitis' ... later re-named Hep C. The prevalence of 'non-A non-B hepatitis' / Hep C in Vietnam era veterans (1977 is in that era) is tremendous. Lawsuits have been filed and won by many veterans who became ill so-called with Hep C via air-jet guns. Veterans cannot discuss details of the settlements.

I really appreciate the video and the honesty. Everyone's bodies are different and food is medicine. I tried going off of meat at one point because I was dealing with some health stuff. It was during the huge green smoothie phase. I started drinking tons of green smoothies with spinach in them and felt like total crap while doing it. I guess, long story short--our bodies know what they need and balance is key. Keep an eye on what they're trying to take away from us and know that there's a reason they're trying to take it away, and it's not because they want us to be healthy and happy.

strange isn't it, that since such a lot of jabs are given, almost all people have some allergies. Since I came to this country and had to take 7 jabs, I am allergic to a few scents. I love the smell of certain soaps but they make me sneeze and if I use them some make my skin itchy! I blame it on the jabs

Supposedly the latest documentary, You are what you eat on Netflix is a bit convincing, but way off base. Niece/Nephews are quoting the well produced film backed by Beyond Beef/Vegan advocates. They follow 20 sets of twins, split them/vegetarian & omnivore diets. Track them for 8 wks, that's it? Guess which group comes out on top after lab work? They put emphasis on LDL not hdl/triglyceride ration? Insulin/nope. Don't compare with Keto/Low Carb, Paleo nor Carnivore?
Having suffered most of my life from IBS and its complications, I think I've tried every diet there is. What I learned is that there is no magic bullet diet. Thankfully... everyone is different. We all respond differently to food. What works great for one person might be bad for the next . I'm not carnivore, vegan, vegetarian, keto, high carb or low carb. It has taken me decades to determine what works for me - a mix of all of the above, in moderation. But it is all fresh and prepared from scratch, by me, in my kitchen. Much of the meat is local wild game or animals from my farm or nearby farms. Much of the produce comes from my garden or nearby gardens. Most of it is cooked in lard from my pastured pigs or butter from pastured goats (when possible), or from pastured cattle.
If how I eat needs to be pigeon holed, I would call it ancestral not-a-diet.
I’ve had to cope with serious depression — sometimes accompanied by suicidal ideation — since college, basically for approximately fifty years. I’m sure glad though that I never tried to go vegetarian or vegan.
I certainly would, if my depression and my PTSD got unmanageable with cognitive behavioral therapy. I know that I would be doing A LOT better if I cut out processed sugar from my meals and grazing. That stuff is both toxic and addictive. I can’t seem to give up chocolate and fruit juices. I know that I have to take greater responsibility for my mental health in this area.
Sugar is not really the problem, unless you eat tons. Its the glyphosate residues on it. The diabolical molecule; it destroys all life, every system in the body suffers.

yes ! both my dog and my cats eat a full-meat diet, only a few of the dog canned foods have veggies.

cats have seen vet only once, when they were sterilized. They are both 7 years old. Dog has had some stomach trouble and seems to be allergic to chicken (I know this from a friend who helps at the vet). Dog is almost 9. I hope they all live a long and healthy life! Been to doc may be 4 or 5 times in the last 15 years. Avoiding docs and hospitals by all means, that is where the sick people are! and the docs around here are all pill and jab pushers.
I hear you. Here too. My friend, a retired veterinarian recently told me all the independent vets are being bought by corporations. Bad news! I learned a lot from a book I read years ago, The Nature of Animal Healing. The author, Dr Martin Goldstein I believe has a documentary, which I have yet to watch.

I am not an evangelist for one diet fits all, nor for a black or white approach to the ethics of eating. Taurine is a key ingredient in meat that is not available in large quantities in other foods. If you're not into meat, you can supplement taurine.

For many years I did juicing for my health. It did not work, and many symptoms got worse, (weight gain, brain fog, skin issues). I stopped eating raw veggies, now I only eat cooked, and focus on animal protein. No sugar. No caffeine. Don't have depression, at sixty I can walk 8km and 300 stairs easily in a day. I do take astaxanthin; it reversed my gray hair and alleviated terrible floaties in my eyes. (They were so bad I had to give up golf - I could no longer watch my ball! They are completely gone now). Thank you for voicing the counter narrative; almost everything we have been told is 'healthy' is not. Get the word out!
Wow. I too would love to know the manufacturer of whichever Astaxanthin supplement you use for health support. I've had floaters for decades (I'm 65yo now). Despite tending very well to my body at this point in my life (Ayurveda and meat) and outliving dire prognoses - the floaters only increase. Mercola is a big proponent of Astaxanthin - I haven't yet tried it. Thanks so much!

You might find interesting that floaters appeared in my world in 1977 when I did a hyper-brief stint in the Navy in 1977. Just long enough to get all the vacks-injex in boot camp, before realizing I was not made for the military. The vacks-injex landed me with what was then called 'non-A non-B hepatitis' ... later re-named Hep C. The prevalence of 'non-A non-B hepatitis' / Hep C in Vietnam era veterans (1977 is in that era) is tremendous. Lawsuits have been filed and won by many veterans who became ill so-called with Hep C via air-jet guns. Veterans cannot discuss details of the settlements.
Why do I mention this to you? Because so-called Hep C (just like so-called HIV / HTLV) was never isolated, and is considered the first 'RNA virus'. The 'viral load' test for Hep C - ? Yup. PCR.

I'm glad that some veterans received financial recompense for their suffering. I wasn't actually a veteran (3 weeks of boot camp is not serving the country, that's for sure) so that wasn't an option for me.
I get these things that block some parts of my vision so that I see things but don't really if you get my meaning. Is that what you mean by floaters? If I close my eyes while they are present I see them as jagged objects shimmering. Is this floaters?
I have the same issue. They're optical migraines. No pain, supposedly no big deal. Doctor said they are caused by a spasm on the optic nerve IIRC.

Different bodies, different cures. Potassium and iodine was big too tho... she had a potato skin/grrens broth too.... biggest hurdle was all the work involved!! Every hour??? And you had to press the veggies.
To give carrot juice its dues, it does improve eyesight, so there is that. Beta carotene, the good stuff.
I really appreciate the video and the honesty. Everyone's bodies are different and food is medicine. I tried going off of meat at one point because I was dealing with some health stuff. It was during the huge green smoothie phase. I started drinking tons of green smoothies with spinach in them and felt like total crap while doing it. I guess, long story short--our bodies know what they need and balance is key. Keep an eye on what they're trying to take away from us and know that there's a reason they're trying to take it away, and it's not because they want us to be healthy and happy.

strange isn't it, that since such a lot of jabs are given, almost all people have some allergies. Since I came to this country and had to take 7 jabs, I am allergic to a few scents. I love the smell of certain soaps but they make me sneeze and if I use them some make my skin itchy! I blame it on the jabs

While I'm extremely happy for everyone who's felt healthier/lost weight/lost depression/staved off diabetes, anxiety, etc., w/ carnivore diets, I just want to point out that all those problems may have been (& likely were) caused by having cell phones; in fact, I couldn't help noticing cell phones sitting around early in the video. Though it doesn't even have to be cell phones. Diabetes, obesity, depression, fatigue, memory loss, hair loss, etc. are just a few of the long, long list of illnesses caused by electricity, which slows down the functions of cellular mitochondria, which in turn causes unburned fats to collect in arteries , etc. etc., as Arthur Firstenberg explains in great detail in THE INVISIBLE RAINBOW. Just imagine--200 years ago, ppl were able to eat lots of refined sugar & white flour w/out getting sick or dying from it.

It can wreck you & world governments for some reason are pushing these diets on to the masses? Meat Bad, Vegetables Good? Supposedly the latest documentary, You are what you eat on Netflix is a bit convincing, but way off base. Niece/Nephews are quoting the well produced film backed by Beyond Beef/Vegan advocates. They follow 20 sets of twins, split them/vegetarian & omnivore diets. Track them for 8 wks, that's it? Guess which group comes out on top after lab work? They put emphasis on LDL not hdl/triglyceride ration? Insulin/nope. Don't compare with Keto/Low Carb, Paleo nor Carnivore?
Having suffered most of my life from IBS and its complications, I think I've tried every diet there is. What I learned is that there is no magic bullet diet. Thankfully... everyone is different. We all respond differently to food. What works great for one person might be bad for the next . I'm not carnivore, vegan, vegetarian, keto, high carb or low carb. It has taken me decades to determine what works for me - a mix of all of the above, in moderation. But it is all fresh and prepared from scratch, by me, in my kitchen. Much of the meat is local wild game or animals from my farm or nearby farms. Much of the produce comes from my garden or nearby gardens. Most of it is cooked in lard from my pastured pigs or butter from pastured goats (when possible), or from pastured cattle.
If how I eat needs to be pigeon holed, I would call it ancestral not-a-diet.
I’ve had to cope with serious depression — sometimes accompanied by suicidal ideation — since college, basically for approximately fifty years. I’m sure glad though that I never tried to go vegetarian or vegan.

I certainly would, if my depression and my PTSD got unmanageable with cognitive behavioral therapy. I know that I would be doing A LOT better if I cut out processed sugar from my meals and grazing. That stuff is both toxic and addictive. I can’t seem to give up chocolate and fruit juices. I know that I have to take greater responsibility for my mental health in this area.
