Very happy that mom let him suckle and other cub stopped to wait on him, leading the others to stop, too. I hope he lived. 🙏

Yes it's actually a 9 episode series, I had to look to see as they left it open ended as to what would happen to him in this video, and i had to see if he would heal and be strong enough to survive.

This starts episode 1 and auto plays all the episodes in the menu if anyone's interested.

That was very hard to watch! 🙏💜

Hard for me as well. As I thought; why don't the Video production crew get the cub to the vet and sort his injuries?

With many wild animals, once the smell of a human is on them, they will be discarded by their mother and the rest--it's like a death sentence.

Or not.

Not a hunter, I take it?

I'm a licensed pest exterminator with Parks and Wildlife Anti Meridian.

I've culled wild dogs, feral pigs, feral introduced deer and foxes.

I was a firearms safety inspector and range trainer. I have shot and reloaded more calibers than you've had hot breakfasts.

Next question?

Thanks for the introduction, Poet. I appreciate the biographical data.

Because we have little business intervening with the natural order in the wild. As much as this video stresses me, it’s not our place as humans to play God.

Let me add that human intervention such as poaching is an entirely different situation!

Well by that token, they have no business following a pride of lions and exploiting their lives for public sympathy and entertainment.

And if you are going to think about it in catchphrases ..it is our place as humans to play god. (good)

We have less business intervening with the natural order in the wild than we do interfering with foreign governments across the world.

This was too hard to watch… Such courage to rise above his limitations. Nature can also be so cruel.

Thanks for sharing.....Rene Girard is a must read

“The best definition of what it means to be a Christian comes from R. Girard:💥 a Christian is a repentant scapegoater. Followers of Jesus confess that they could easily have been part of the crowd that called for his crucifixion. We recognise that the violence at the cross was entirely human. Jesus revealed that God is not with the crowd or the authorities, but on the cross, as a victim.”

A beautiful Sunday blessing presentation, Celia. Obrigado. 🇧🇷

We learn from the presentation. We pray so at least.

I love lions as well ..Especially when they rip and tear into hyenas.

Seeing as how the video crew were on a winner with their production ..perhaps they could have captured the poor boy, or girl; and got it to the vet for treatment and rehab and then release.?

The bad news for lion world is that breeders breed lions in Africa for dipshit "big game hunters" to shoot for sport and trophies.

Those dipshits are lower than low.
