I want to clarify something. If we believe in freedom, it starts with the freedom to not be forced to BECOME something else, being imposed upon you. Taxonomy keeps all things separate. A frog is a frog. A mushroom is a mushroom. There are five kingdoms of life. etc. Christianity is not de facto "homophobic" in my view, for holding the belief that marriage is a God contract to procreate within marriage and that contract is by God's design between a man and a woman. I may defend or in any case not threaten to abolish either gay marriage and/or gay families AND draw the line a offering up Christianity as a whole, to be demolished and re-written to this end. No. Christianity has every right to define ITSELF. I am aware Christianity's bloody history includes forced domination over people who did not wish to be Christian. Today, LGBTQ is forcing the world to become LGBTQ and forcing the Church to lead the charge. That's malignant narcissism encoded as globalist agenda.

To complicate matters further, I have gay friends who are devout Christians. I would not wish for them not to be Christians, nor would I ask that they magically become heterosexual. These men understand the Christian faith, and do not impose demands of homosexual culture onto it. They are Christians first.

What say you, Doug Reed? Eager to have you help me with this.

Being obliged to see men as women—or even as "transpeople" is like being obliged to see that 2+2=5. There are two genders; one cannot change his or her gender. That's science. That's the truth.

My view about marriage is that it should be prohibited everywhere by the Green Dictatorship of the Global State, and impose economic sanctions on people for insisting in that savage practice... That's the PR note, the official version of my plan to undermine modernity.

My hidden agenda: using persecution and censorship to bring couples together, unified by a common enemy.

An even more hidden agenda: to turn everyone into a conservative who refuses to borrow money anywhere. That would upend the whole system of domination and end wokeism forever.

I haven't even read this yet but I so applaud it based only on its headline and header! Bravo!! :-)

Outstanding. Forgive the crudity of the following point, but the truth of the matter is indeed rather crude. The "love is love" crowd conveniently skips over the fact that homosexual "love" is consummated in the digestive tract (mouth/rectum). Disease is a consequence of this misplaced act of "love."

We need to start speaking uncomfortable truths about the act. The other side wants us to self-censor and remain silent about it, hence their "love is love" phrase gains traction among the masses. I mean, who can be against love, right?

No more. Speak truths. Nothing less than the fate of Western Civilization and Christianity are at stake.

Our clergy offered this Christian viewpoint in a discussion of biblical scripture related to the subject- "...homosexual behavior is regarded as sin. Just to be clear, these texts are referring to homosexual behavior, not homosexual persons, who like all people, are the objects of God’s grace and love.

The Scriptures embrace a vision of sexuality which refuses to relinquish the unitive and reproductive vision of human sexuality and marriage. We will likely have to exercise great patience and courage, and be willing to wait many decades before this struggle can be resolved. We hear quite a bit of talk about being on the “right side of history.” However, for a Christian, the “right side” of history is often not revealed for centuries."

I like my church precisely because it does not conform itself to modern concerns.

We just do the same rituals that have been done unaltered for a 1000 years. It's ancient and solid and unmoveable.

We don't have female priests or guitar services or gay weddings and that's how I like it.

Quite frankly it feels like a small oasis of sanity in a society that is a madhouse.

And in this place, in the UK where Christianity is dying, the pews of my Orthodox church are full.

God certainly works in mysterious ways. I'm currently having a pretty civil discussion with a person online, regarding this very subject. They are calling for "one central teaching authority that clergy must ascribe to" to prevent these gay/bi/trans pastors from subverting their congregations. I completely objected to this idea because we already HAVE one authority - that's God's Word in the Holy Bible. There's no need for more middlemen, that's why were in the shape we are now! This person doesn't believe God speaks directly to "regular" people and that "we" need guidance from a virtual authority to understand the scriptures based on typology and historical records. They do not believe that God speaks directly to people but it's really the devil masquerading as such! (I think they are Catholic, but won't answer that question.🤷‍♀️) The question posed to me at present is "So you reject the idea that tradition matters, like Paul told Timothy it matters?" I was constructing my answer in my brain before I clicked on your stack. My answer (along with a link to your substack) will be "The question isn't is tradition matters, but what happens when MAN makes up or changes "traditions" that go directly against God's Word. What happens is these false teachers are leading their flocks straight to Hell. And by not reading, studying and understanding the Holy Bible yourself, instead just accepting someone else's interpretation of such, allows this to happen. When one stands before God on Judgment Day, that person who you listened to will NOT be there beside you to offer an excuse!"

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ doesn't change. He's the same yesterday, today and forever.

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests;

because you have ignored the law of your God,

I also will ignore your children.

As always, thank you, Celia!

Robyn Henderson makes an comment that people pretend to solve problems through mere policy-making, and that it would be better if there was more influence of the Abrahamic religions.

This reminds me of a quote by the guy who refurbished the office of Speaker of the House in the US House of Representatives, Thomas Brackett Reed:

"One of the greatest delusions in the world is the hope that the evils in this world are to be cured by legislation."

This quote was written right before Progressivism, Eugenics and Racism took over the West.

May I recommend Rod Dreher's substack? He has been covering these issues for many

Also, the Anglican resistance in the UK can be found here: https://jamiefranklin.substack.com/

Although I admit I have abandoned the Church of England. I find Eastern Orthodoxy to be much more based.

Now, if I may, why is the painter upset and lashing out to the church? When she is the one that chose the snake to be with the transgender 🤔

It’s this whole idea of imposing themselves in everybody and everything, and when people say NO ,they pull the transphobic card!

Kind of like the antisemitism card.

Mr. Robinson would do well to have a chat with Pope Francis. I am afeerd that the Holy Father thinks he himself is Church of England, rather than Catholic.

I have no interest in the advocacy that "woke" means gutting the centrality of Christianity, including in the Anglican church. This is PC at its worst. Leave the church alone! If you don't like it, go elsewhere.
