Editorial note: I had to RE-publish this and delete the original because it stuck the wrong Dale Peterson Substack avatar on, despite my inputting Dale's correct email address. This other Dale Peterson was a "retired senior citizen," and the piece would have been credited to him in the system. Dale, I have saved three comments you got, and can type them in. All fan mail!
Dale, do you want to know where I got the image from? I feel very proud of myself. I was searching vintage 70s aquariums etc but nothing felt right. Then I realized there are people who buy and sell this kind of thing on eBay. So this image is a vintage 70s fishtank scuba diver that is for sale on eBay.
Remarkable, the things people feel confident they can sell on eBay. Who knew 70s aquarium stuff was a thing? It is.
Dale Peterson: For some unknown reason, I could not post a comment on YOUR substack. Your story brought a tear to my eye. How many people had lied to your friend. 88Dave

That explains why I just got a line of code when I tried to "like" it.
;-}

I love it! Thank you!
How to keep your friends honest
Is it redundant or irrational to say that the blind lady friend "pulled the wool over their eyes". Or should I have said "pooled the wool...."
Lol, great story.
Dr Dale is a good leader in his field - BZ goes to Celia and Dale
Just love the blind gals’ friend test 😂😎❤️
The dolphins did it... You know "So long and thanks for all the fish!"
That's a good one, Dale.
Splendid splash into candid.
This story is pure gold! Thanks to Dale for writing it and thanks to Celia for sharing it. It gave me a good chuckle. Have a beautiful day! XOXO

I was baffled as to why a blind person would have a fish tank. All I could come up with was they liked the sound of the bubbles. 🤷♀️
I really like the story.
This was good! Gave me a good chuckle!
Wow! That's TOtally Awesome! 👍🏻😎
