More and more I am hearing God in the equation of health. It actually may be the main ,if not all of the equation. Chemo is a con and killing people. Its the opposite of life, its death in an expensive bottle.

its a disgrace how this is all the medical system seems to offer because of the big bucks it brings.

I heard recently of a person that cured himself of cancer by avoiding chemo and praying psalm 91 every day. Its been 10 years and cancer free.

I've already told my family that, should I be dx'd w cancer, I will not likely go the chemo/radiation route

Unknown powers of the mind and body...were unleashed. Someday we will know more....maybe.

Amazing thing. Amazing woman who just wanted to live fully until death....and found more life by defeating her cancer.

There are other stories about finding health within oneself, in the face of a sentence of terminal cancer. I know such a person.

I was immediately reminded of the dances of ancient Shamans, or "medicine" people. Since a young age I've believed that the scientific and spiritual realms are two sides of the same coin, not opposing. Both are a search for truth, and both have failures and successes.

That is awesome. Thanks. Fun fact: 'ti-chi' is recommended by the Arthritis Foundation as one of the 'best' exercises for arthritis. Go figure.

“It’s worth thinking about every word we use.” Yes! These are beautiful and powerful words, Celia!

what you say comes back to you, you speak it into being. We all are told this, but we don't understand how powerful it is. LIkewise how you move. AND the MUSIC you listen to is also important the FREQUENCIES resonate. Chanting focuses the mind the power, sound influences the body... they say Demons HATE gregorian chant. What frequencies are in that music? What does it do for the body, mind and SOUL? Because soul is part of this equation.

The Ancient Solfeggio Scale Explained

The ancient Solfeggio scale, known as “Just Intonation”, is renowned for its use in the Gregorian chants, but its history can be traced back to Biblical times. The 6-tone scale, and an additional 3 tones discovered since, is considered by many musicologists and scientists to have a positive effect on the mind and body.

Back in the 11th century, a Benedictine monk named Guido d’Arezzo introduced the musical scale we now know as the Solfeggio frequencies – though modern research contests that the scale dates back much further (1).

The monks used the original six Solfeggio notes in their Gregorian chants, which we now know to consist of the frequencies: 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, and 852 (Hertz).

Humans have the innate ability to heal themselves but the brainwashing is so total and complete from birth it is never considered. Look at the so called “placebo” effect. The patients thinks the treatment will heal them and lo and behold, it does! On the other side of the coin, a doctor(so called “expert”) puts a hex on a patient and says they have 6 months to live and that’s about how long they last. Maybe in our next stage of human evolution we tap into our self healing capability like this wonderful woman. Except we learn it from birth and are nurtured in these techniques rather than suppressed. So much has been hidden from us. Nature is always trying for balance. What if cancer and all illness is the body trying to right the ship and then we interfere with “treatments” that mess that process up? Mainstream medicine is a control mechanism pure and simple. Oh ya and it’s very profitable for a chosen few. Sorry I’m rambling…

Interesting notion about logos, creation of reality through the word, and here, with respect to mechanism--it is worth a great deal of thought--especially as we move toward an age of robotics. With computers, for a time, the metaphors were geared towards ram-memory, rom-digitizing--processing etc, but now we are moving back to machine talk. Probably a good idea to focus our thoughts around this lingo...

I love to dance.

that description of the cancer dance, which included sharp movements and hissing, reminds me of the succession of gesticulations used in "The OA" (cinematic ambrosia) to enable transport from one alternative reality to another.

I knew I'd heard of Anna Halprin as an artist but couldn't place her. Her comment dismissing her status as founder of post modern dance clued me in. I danced as a non-dancer w/ Yvonne Rainer for a year in the late 60s. Anna was talked about by the professional contingent clustered around Yvonne, who was herself a sweet, humble lady.

What first interested me about Jordan Peterson was the care he used in choosing words to accurately communicate his message.

Vibration and frequency may have something to do with it.

Like you said, it's worth thinking about the words we use.

Thanks. We need reminders to be aware and do these things.

In my classroom, I would have the students to create a kind of mantra for the kids to remember and it was always something uplifting. We would refer to it all year and it had very positive effects.
