We have a South Carolina friend who is connected to a helicopter team in Asheville now. The team flew from Kingstree to Asheville. They flew two helicopters from SC with emergency food supplies to a working restaurant that is now serving people in need. They will be doing search and rescue this week. I will update soon.
My family is in Asheville. So lucky that they are ok and have a house to be in. There’s no water in the city, no gas, my sister drove to Charlotte yesterday to get water and gas… 2 hrs there, 8 hrs back. It is truly catastrophic.. and most people have no idea it’s happening.
They want us all dead. People who don't realize this are slow on the uptake, and thus fast to the grave. Exhibit A: the coronavirus kill-shots. Exhibit B: Hurricane Helene, with no one coming to help.
Its up to the grass roots now... never rely on the Feds or maybe even your state. Its the para military, the search and rescue the COUNTIES that are helping out each other now...
The following Williamsburg County organizations are working to get supplies and manpower to the communities most affected by Hurricane Helene. If you have additional information, please email our staff at news@kingstreenews.com.
Aero-Tech Helicopters owners Dirk Fromman and Richie Wheeler have flown two helicopters to Hickory North Carolina where they are working with the Carolina Response Team. They were followed by a service truck with water and medical supplies and a transport van with a ground crew including Dawson Brown, Austin Mantegani, Jens Gevers and Jay Floyd to assist where needed in Western North Carolina. So far, the helicopters have flown supplies to Asheville, taken supplies to nursing homes, have rescued people off of mountains, and transported medical personnel where needed. This is an ongoing community-funded effort.
Will Timmons is taking a trailer load of supplies to North Carolina on Wednesday, October 2. Drop-off items at Kingstree First Baptist Church starting today, Sept. 30 through Tues., October 1 at 5:00 p.m. Items requested are: non-perishable food, bottled water and jugs of water, baby wipes and Clorox wipes, cleaning supplies, flashlights and batteries. The only big road that seems quite closed is the 40 between Asheville and Tennessee. Understandable. Must be miles and miles of avalanches mud and trees.

It's just awful, our operations director was watching 1st responders pulling dead bodies out of water…and none of this being reported, theres no food, water, electricity etc..
when our guys are taking a break or waiting for orders, they have to hide their bucket trucks or have police escort…its VERY dangerous.
