I had the same thought. Is this a real transcript? Most of Putin's answers were very short. It seems to me his answers would have been longer. Maybe it's just excerpts or the "money quotes?" As others have said, we'll find out soon enough.

I want to know if Tucker asked Putin why he blew up his own natural gas pipeline.

Expand full comment

Except it was the US that did that so why ask.

Expand full comment

Of the 20 million people who might watch this interview, surely a couple million buy the "official" U.S. narrative that Russia blew up its own pipeline.

These same people also think a few Facebook posts by Russian trolls somehow instantly convinced hundreds of thousands of previous Hillary supporters to change their votes to Trump in 2016.

... If I ever start an ad agency, I want to hire those trolls!

So you are saying that you are among a couple of million dummies then?

Expand full comment

I don't think so. My bet would be Russia did not blow up its own pipeline. ... I'd bet all 257 of my paid Substack subscribers on that one.

Expand full comment

Then your initial comment "I want to know if Tucker asked Putin why he blew up his own natural gas pipeline." was deliberately deceptive? I am sure all 257 of your paid subscribers will be very impressed with THAT.

Seymour Hersh already answered that question for him.

Seymour Hersh's journalism used to count ... when he used to work for The New York Times or whatever mainstream news organizations once published his stories and investigative journalism..

He's now a Substacker, where all the truth gets published ... but somehow this doesn't matter .... because it's not The NY Times. Sigh.

Expand full comment

Why would he ask such a stupid question?

We all know who blew the pipeline and it was not Russia or Germany or the USA.

Stretch your limited imagination Bill.

Guess!

In the "excerpts" already published (which may or not be legit), Putin talks about the importance of America preserving the dollar as the world's reserve currency ... and how Russia, China and other BRIC nations might be working to un-do this key to America's power.

IMO rigging gold and silver "markets" to protect the Magic Printing Press has always been the most important operation of our Shadow Rulers ... as I belatedly learned when I became a "gold bug."

How do you know the length of Putin's answers if you haven't seen the interview, unless you are willing to accept the authenticity of the transcript?

Expand full comment

I don't know if it's authentic or not. However, I have watched other Putin interviews and speeches and he's usually not as "pithy" in his responses or comments.

It’s all speculation at this point, Vonu. Don’t you get that? None of us know anything for sure and we’re well aware. As is Celia, as she qualified her remarks several times because of the unknown status of the transcript.

We’re just chatting here. Stop trying so hard to be an agitator.

I am not willing to accept the legitimacy of ANY US-sanctioned media outlets. I will not accept the legitimacy of ANY US government three letter agencies. They squandered any chance of that over the past several years.

With that in mind, I am already predisposed to accept Tucker Carlson as truth. Whether this transcript is accurate or not remains to be seen, but for now I am willing to give it the benefit of some very significant doubt.

Expand full comment

If you won't "accept the legitimacy of ANY US-sanctioned media outlets," you must, by default, rely on foreign propaganda outlets.

No. I am not relying upon them either. I rely upon the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Anything else... no.

Jesus Christ has relied on liars since he disincarnated.

Yes, short, trite and sounds perfectly scripted by a Gateway pundit journalist. He basically uses all the conservative talking points. If real, my gut was screaming STAGED. I guess we’ll see.

It read as if a chat GTP wrote it… hard to say. Very truncated answers. We’ll see tonight!!! Thanks Celia ❤️

I saw a "transcript" of the "Putin/Tucker" interview a couple of days before it seemed the interview had even taken place. I read it and thought there were some profound responses from "Putin." But then, I wondered the same: Where is this from? It even had some doubled-up, repeated Q&A's in the one I read, like it had been inadvertently copied-and-pasted more than once. Very sloppy.

I saw no other confirmations of this "transcript" at the time, so I ended up blowing it off.

I have not read the one in this Celia post because, based on my first experience with a purported "transcript," I will now wait until the actual interview is actually broadcasted, Lord willing.

Putin wouldn't need to do anything more than repeat the speeches he gave to his fellow citizens detailing the deceit of the US, EU, and NATO in the Maidan revolution.

I wonder if they might have used that former Putin speech? there was one several months ago, in which I had to admire the man because he said a whole lot more meaningful things than the resident does.

Could be.

Saw this on Telegram just now:

[Russian presidential press secretary] Peskov:

"Carlson’s interview with Putin will be published on the Kremlin website on Friday morning [Russian time]

"The text version of the conversation will be available after it is posted on Tucker Carlson’s platforms, both in Russian and English."

thanks for the update. May be I should learn Russian! But I guess Tucker had a good translator.

I am also glad that the interview is published in Russia itself. I have an idea, from a few documenataries I saw, that he (although maybe not liked) is appreciated there. The men said that if they wanted something in their village, all they had to do was write to Putin and a few weeks later they had it. Quite a difference from here!

I have followed State of the Nation for years.

Some of their info seems fairly accurate and some of it is way out there.

If you happened to look at their sidebar of their most recent posts you would notice one titled "PRESIDENT PUTIN WAS ASSASSINATED in 2014!" and another titled "Tucker did NOT interview Vladimir Putin…..…contrary what we have all been told." Which is saying this is not really Putin.- https://stateofthenation.co/?p=209590#more-209590

With posts like these it really nakes one wonder about any accuracy on their site. Their source for the Putin interview says ( iSource News ) If you google them, you won't find much other than a Twitter, now X account with a few supposed news stories. I would say reader beware on this one, the true interview will be out shortly!!

The hype machine in overdrive. I'm gonna guess that the interview is full of propaganda... Not from the US but the globcap.

Meanwhile in "free" Russia they clamp down on calling out the war and criticizing the government.

Thank you for posting this reality check for starry-eyed fans of Putin who are unaware of the totalitarian tactics that keep the Russian people under the government's strict control.

At least they are not trying to destroy their own country by destruction of agriculture, energy & infrastructure that OUR REAL LEADERS in Switzerland are now doing to us. Here's a preview of the tyranny that's coming for all of us:

https://twitter.com/Glenn_Diesen/status/1755448319101329855

"The US-funded Diia app in Ukraine is a “digital ID Linked To Bank Account”, hailed as a model for other countries.

- This app may now be used to freeze the assets of Ukrainians who are in hiding as they do not want to die on the front in a proxy war"

(Yet, the brainwashed left still believes that the US govt is trying to help the Ukrainian people-apparently 500,000 KIA in Neocon Victoria Nuland's proxy war)

OMG! A leader with a sense of humor! Even if it's not the real transcript it was fun to read. I've always had a crush on Vlad. He loves the Russian people and his culture. My family always reminds me that he was a former KGB agent, but I don't care. I about died laughing when he let his Labrador in the room with Angela Merckle (she's afraid of dogs). And some dignitary gave him some fancy puppy and the way he scooped up the puppy and kissed it made him a real human being with a heart to me. He didn't even scold the puppy for peeing on the carpet. He was seriously studly in his youth and still looks great. :)

Do I HAVE to read it? Putin's first statement was what I already thought: Russia does not want war. how many times has he already said this...?

Expand full comment

It seems legitimate. Putin appears to be sincere. We live in an age where discerning the truth is a necessary survival skill. One thing is certain: we will not learn the truth from legacy media.

If it is a real interview and his answers are sincere, he sounds like he would make a good president of the USA. Somebody I could l vote for at least.
