Celia: "May our disagreements be as civilized as our agreements, and may we slowly heal our wounds now, become people again," is so critical to our national discussion. I feel that RFK, Jr, brings much to the conversation that otherwise would not be said or discussed. Whether one votes for RFK, Jr or not, I am so glad to see him standing! That act alone gives courage and hope to many to come together!

The link talks about all the things he said many years ago. If you did some more thorough research you would find that he has changed his mind on most of them. RFK Jr. has shown time and time again that when he does the deep dive into an issue he changes his mind. The one issue he hasn't publicly changed his mind about is support of Israel. But anyone with half a brain knows you won't get elected without complete support of Israel. I'm going to gamble that once he's elected he will do a 180 on Israel.

Interesting, heidi.

It's hard to resist a candidate who takes a hard stand against one's most despised foe. Yet standing on a single plank is hardly prudent, and in the cynic's eye, perhaps a psyop?

Trump and RFK still support the killing of babies in the womb. That's MY single plank. Any takers?

Regardless, unlike JFK, Jr., Trump is not an idealist. So, while he may, at worst, be neutral towards abortion & the concept of a woman's choice, Trump instead believes in America & the right of her Citizens to choose to keep abortion or throw it out, regardless of his own personal opinion in the matter.

(Trump's no tyrannical dictator, unlike JFK, Jr. who'd continue to force his ideals down our collective throats, whether we liked them or not.)

All good Presidents work with the will of the People, not against it, even if the President might not agree. This is what makes Trump a great President; he rightly lets the People decide and run their own lives.

It's more a matter of unfortunate pragmatic exigencies. Many were fighting the raging fire, but not Admiral McCains little boy, he ran below deck and watched it on a monitor while waiting for a helicopter to pick him up and take him to Saigon where he sipped drinks in a bar while the fire still raged on. men died but not Johny boy, the Admirals son, the hero, not. Just because a man was a POW does not a hero make. The media did this as he was actually a coward who got lifted off the ship, and only him. What's clear is you are determined not to take the very simple clue I offer: When politicians suddenly Get Religion, and suddenly during a campaign do a complete 180 from their previous policies, there is a very simple reason. They are endeavoring to obtain enough votes to gain that office.

Your presumption that I don't watch anything Kennedy says is wrong.

Were I not subscribed to CHD, I could not have been solicited by his organization to buy plans for a freaking Perpetual Energy Machine!

And when I pointed out that perpetual energy was not possible and why it wouldn't possibly work, it was like dealing with Mr Haney from Green Acres, they would not back down from insisting their Rube Goldberg scam was valid.

That kind of ridiculous representation doesn't enhance my trust, and quite apart from my other objections, short of a personal, written and signed apology for that bit of outrageous BS direct from Bobby himself I wouldn't vote him into office for dog catcher.

Inasmuch as I did not name any company, you can't possibly know whether some 2007 instance of an age old scam has anything to do with it and it's sad that you even think that proves anything about anything.

A sensible start would be to contact them and ask them to officially deny it.

It would be interesting to know if they would admit it or not.

But it is certain thousands more received the same solicitation, and you are a poorly raised twit to call someone a liar based on nothing but your pathological obsession with Kennedy.

Okay, so I'm sitting here weeping with the pleasure of reading your words this morning. What a gift to wake up to this post.

This is why I am so very glad that you continue to write these public posts for us all. You write not only about the Great Nonsense, but you speak of life. Injured fox, moving from a family home, stopping into a small dark pub. You weave life into the 'news'. And for that, I am profoundly grateful.

Having also experienced my own version of the so-called-AIDS nightmare through the 80's, when you speak of that era in your life it lances the boil that's still festering in me, and a little more healing happens. A little more shame lifts.

As for the campaign, I'm grateful to have been invited along, thank you. Sometimes I feel at a loss for action these days. Especially when I read the commentary on various social media posts (including Substack). So when I perused some of the comments to your last-hours-to-contribute entreaty, especially the arguments and accusations about RFK Jr, something occurred to me.

I realized I wanted to contribute because, (A) it gladdens me to support something you are enthusiastic about, and (B) because I love that Robert Kennedy Jr says what he says about the medical industrial complex. That gladdens me too. And for phuck's sake, I appreciate feeling glad in any moment these days.

Bobby Kennedy Jr doesn't 'refract' (I love your use of this word in this context) all my preferences. I'm quite disappointed that he opted out of the Moms for Liberty speaking engagement, and his subsequent words about why he did so. I think he missed a beat in a big way there. And, so what? It's incredibly naive to imagine that any candidate will match my concerns precisely. On what planet does that ever happen? I am so sick of picking nits about people, which is what I (and we) have become so good-at these days.

I don't know if I will vote in the election. It either will or it probably won't be counted, or make any difference. But ... contributing to his campaign does make a difference - to me. Keep on talkin', Bobby. For as long as you are here, I will celebrate your transparency - and when you stumble, I will be glad for the reminder that you are just like me: human.

As always, thank you Celia. Hope the move will be soon concluded, and that the book is coming along well. Big love to you and yours, and to all of us who are here in your Substack commentary.

It's a fantasy that any politician is going to change what's going on. Politicians are many steps down the ladder from the real controllers and even if there were a few honest/good ones, the political landscape is so owned they would be dead in the water.

The change comes from the people. That's where the energy needs to be. Each day that you sit on the sidelines waiting for your white knight __________________ (fill in the blank) to change the world for you, strengthens the cabal.

Think of the injured fox scenario. It was on Celia to take action. There was no savior.

If you disagree with me, tell me what politician EVER changed this country for the better. JFK may have tried to a degree, but it's pretty well documented his old man bought votes and he was unclean in other ways too.

Celia, I have been a fan of Kennedys work for decades, but I have to say something that disturbs me verry much about his actions since he started his campaign. I have to wonder why he insisted on running as a Democrat and not independently. I asked the question and received no reply. The most disturbing thing was the interview he had with a Rabi, where he praised Israels human rights record in such glowing terms without ever mentioning Palestine's abuses at the hands of the State. I am certainly no antisemite, but I do know the difference between traditional Judaism and Zionism as most do not. That said, the human rights violations against these former dwellers of this land have been abysmal. Mr. Kennedy did not say a word about this, and he certainly knows. If he did not know, then he has been living under a rock. I know this post will bring out the bashers, calling me every name in the book, just as the medical-Pharmaceutical cabal has done to him for years.
