I just sent this message to Senator Wyden - D-Oregon.
"I am writing to say that I support RFK Jr's appointment to HHS and I am embarrassed by your harassment of him in the senate hearing happening right now. Caroline Kennedy is a known shareholder in many big pharma companies so she is speaking through her own special interests against him. You do not represent me at all as an Oregonian. The fact that you have behaved in this apprehensible manner is absolutely unacceptable. RFK Jr. has taken big pharma to task when they have harmed people. You should support anybody causing harm through their products to be held accountable and support the attorneys willing to stand up to corporate power on behalf of the people. What has happened to decency in America? It's all special interest now, apparently. You need to apologize publicly to RFK Jr. and to the American people for your shameful behavior and for not sticking up for the people by supporting new leadership that cares about the health of the American people. Why do you roadblock healthy change? Time for you to step down."
We in Oregon need to replace Senator Wyden. His behavior reveals who actually calls his shots. Since his term doesn't end until 2029!, he probably feels safe that retirement will be his exit. Since members of Congress cannot be recalled, expulsion is the other option. It's rare but has been done before. Not easy as it requires 2/3rds of the body (senators) which means in this term about 15 Democrats and all Republicans. Bob Packwood, the senator that Wyden replaced faced expulsion (for sexual misconduct) and retired ahead of the pending senate vote. An unofficial way to get Wyden out of office is to gather signatures for his resignation. Even if you get a million to sign, Wyden can still play the arrogant politician and ignore it, but he'll see the writing on the wall.

I'm not a statesman so were it me I would seize the moment, capitalizing on this event to tell the world that at least 2/3 of them is on the drug pushers payroll.

Ouch. RFK Jr. was not able to answer when asked to describe what was covered by Medicare Parts A, B, and C. That's a problem. I don't want to make excuses for him. All I will say is that I don't know how anybody can remember anything when being questioned publicly in such an attacking manner by the whole senate. Many people would disassociate in such an arena and not be able to access their own knowledge. Many senators speaking in the hearing today are actually acting more evenly than those who spoke yesterday so appreciating those who are behaving in a more humane way.
Great comment during the hearing at 1:02:00 by senator Mullin R-Oklahoma. Finally a senator who demands that the senate start considering that "questioning science" is actually exactly what is needed, and is in fact, an imperative in a healthy scientific system. Senator Mullin is (according to Wikipedia) said to be the first Native American senator since 2005. God bless him and his voice of reason and brilliance to correct the direction of this senate hearing in regards to calling out the trend in this hearing to giving blind allegiance to trusting the science!
Heartbreak just now as Senator Cassidy R-Louisiana pushes Bobby to commit to not changing vaccine standards from the historical standards. Unfortunately Bobby agreed to this. IMHO this was a grave error and will come back to haunt the American people. We should have the right to review standards and correct. For instance, the vaccine standards were negatively changed during covid era to allow gene-altering injections (mRNA) to qualify as vaccines. That definition should be revised back to previous standards. The term historical could possibly be the loophole that could allow that but Bobby seems to be being pushed to give yes answers to things that should not be agreed to, most likely just to be able to win enough votes to be confirmed. Stopped watching the hearing for a bit as it was too painful for my soul. This process needs to be revamped as it is a degrading and destructive culture of bullying.
What absolute horrid behavior from our Legislators! They have proven, to me at least, that they deserve to be fired from their jobs immediately. They showed over and over again that they have ZERO idea that vaccines are a toxic slurry of poison! They must want their paychecks from big pharma to continue. They showed also their ignorance (or approval) that late stage abortion is actually an act that takes a child who's heart is still beating and remove organs to sell on the black market! The audacity of the Legislator to give a tear-jerking story example of the "poor couple who had to have a late-stage abortion," that should be called an emergency C-section was over the top. RFKjr. has stirred up the hornets nest and they are stinging him like crazy - proving themselves to the voters that they don't want represent us at all.
